Pure Weight Loss - L.A. Weight Loss - Family Weight Loss This company is a Rip off and a Lie Philadelphia Pennsylvania

I was hired for Pure Weight Loss, formerly L.A. Weight loss and Family Weight loss in some states. I worked for them for approximately 6 weeks before they decided to close up the company and lay us all off. When I interviewed I interviewed for a sales counselor position. I was to sell to new clients and counsel the existing ones to keep them happy on our program. They had us advertised special for $5 a week weight loss or $49 a year weight loss specials and then when we sent client into a center close to them they were told the had to purchase lite bars to go along with their program or they could not join.

It ended up coming to thousands of dollars for those expensive bars that I dont even think works well at all. When we were hired we were not told that the company would be closing, we were told that the company has so much business that it needed a new call center. We have experienced more complaints then we did sales. We have issued more refunds than sales. Our pay was cheezy for the crap load of wrok and complaints we had to handle. Our sales comiision was bull sh** and half the time the centers made our comission because our job was to book center appts first and sell last if they did not want to go into a center.

Everytime I got my paycheck I wanted to cry at how shabby it was and it was always missing money out of it that they never put back into it. The first 2 weeks I was working they started closing down all of the centers starting in WA, TX, CA, and FL so we got slammed with complaints and refund calls.

After 6 miserable weeks of sticking it in with the company hoping that the new year brung in joy, they decided to tell us all that the owner has decided to shut down his company and that we were to pack our things and leave immediately. This job was not only a rip off to its customers but employees also. They used each and everyone of us. I hope this company never shows its existance ever again
