Purebred Breeders / Alica Lutz,Gold Standard Kennels Shattered Dreams Ft. Lauderdale #254 Florida

On March 14, 2013 we picked up our new puppy at DFW Airport.  To our surprise, the puppy had been sent from a breeder in PA. - not PureBred Breeders in Florida.

It had been our dream for quite some time to have a Labrador in our home. We are 66 and 63, I am handicapped and on oxygen 24/7. Our puppy was going to be my helping hand.

After 4 months our pup started having seizures. We took him to a neurologist. They ran an MRI and discovered that our pup had skull trama and brain damage, leaving 2 holes in the top of his head. At that time we were told that our puppy is a "Special Needs Dog."

Over the course of the next few weeks we made several attempts to contact PureBred Breeders to acknowledge the injury and to stand behind their so-called "guarantee."  Instead of concern, we received excuses.  Instead of honoring their guarantee, we received more excuses.  

After 3 1/2 months, PureBred Breeders has done nothing.  We  have sent pictures taken the day our puppy arrived, Vet reports, MRI results etc. and PureBred Breeders has done nothing.  We continue to receive excuses.  The latest excuse is their opinion: that because it took 4 months for the seizures to begin, the health issue was caused by us.

This business is a Puppy Mill distributer. Please do your own investigation and make up your mind as to their sincere pledge to give its customers the best puppy's available. They should be shut down and never be able to deal in live animals for the remainder of their lives.

Our puppy Buddy is doing as well as can be expected. He is on meds to help control the seizures. Due to his seizures and unpredictable behavior, he will never be able to be a service dog which were our dreams. It is heart breaking but we are committed to taking care of him. 

Lets put a stop to "Puppy Mills" Don't be the next victim!!!
