I was on my-space the other day. I saw this little box flashing up in the corner, click here for a free pair of Ugg Boots. I had heard from a friend who clicked on a similar box and had a Coach purse sent to her with in 30 days. I thought what the heck lets do it. When I clicked on the Box it directed me to a survey YOU HAD to take. Like an idiot I thought it was a valid survey, they said to finish this survey and claim your gift certificate please complete to other surveys. To finish those surveys you had to purchase two products by paying the shipping and handling. One being the Vioderm, like $6.95 the other being Purity Mineral make-up, like $7.95. Boy oh boy when they did show up I was excited. I did all of this on January 18, 2008, on Feburary 5, 2008 I was checking my online banking (thank goodness for that) I saw that on Feburary 4, 2008 I was charged $59.99 for the Vioderm and $59.99 for the Purity makeup. Now I was really mad by the time I got a hold of someone, I spoke with one of the Customer Reps (by the way NOT helpful) she said the charges would be taken care of the moment they received the "free" gift back in the mail, (mailed to the Farmers Branch, Tx. Address) Meanwhile, not only did I have to pay the initial shipping fee, I now had two addition charges and then I had to pay to send the stupid stuff back to them? I mean come on what kind of business are you handing out. I realized I was being stupid for sending them their stuff back without trying to contact them once again. After talking to a woman (oops I mean getting a little LOUD) with this woman I finally got her to tell me she would have the manager of customer service call me back. Mean whie, I went to my bank had to have my debit/credit card shut off so they would not charge my card with any more charges. I also got the balls rolling for my bank to process a Regulation E letter. I finally got through to another customer rep, I then had to ask for Lorraine (this is the Manager of Customer Service). After informing her of the crappy service I have received with her customer reps then the charges I was charged for products that I didn't even get to enjoy for the full 30 days before i was charged. I finally got her to WRITE ME A CHECK for the $59.99 X 2 and the postage I had to pay to pay to send the crap back to them. I am telling you this, I was directed to the manager of customer service again her name is Lorraine. I have had to go through so much work for things I didn't even use or enjoy while they were in my presence, I had to have my bank account closed b/c of further charges from these people. When I googled Purity Mineral Make-up the first thing that popped up was NOT there website but this Ripoff Report website, I knew at that moment that it was time to do something about this.
