Since July of 2008 we have been trying to get shipments stopped from Purity Products. They are eager to bate you with free offers and only shipping charges, only to later continue charging your account astronomical charges for things you did not authorize to continue shipping.

On 4 occassions we have tried to get them to stop shipping product, at a rate of $179.70 per charge. On October 8, 2007, I called their customer care line to let them know that a charge of $179.70 had been made against my credit card that I did not order and that I wanted the charges stopped once again. They gave me a cancellation number and assured me that it was handled and would be taken care of. IT was not and now I am fighting with my bank about getting the charges reversed.

This company has created a cash cow and figured out a way to keep sending you product you have not authorized. It has resulted in me having to change debit cards, my bank accounts and going to a lot of trouble to stop receiving their charges. I urge anyone thinking about doing business with this company to think twice. It is like joining the MOB. You can never get out of PURITY PRODUCTS once you start, even after requesting they stop sending you product.

When getting the free bottle there is an option for no super saver.  Why keep getting free bottles 4 times then say you are shocked you got a shipment?  Clearly the invoice shows it will ship.  After the first time why not call after getting the free bottle to make sure there is no package coming?  Surprise Arizona... clearly the ordering process is evident to you after 1 or 2 times... but after 4 times I think it is clear what happened.  It isnt ignorance after the 4th time.  Read the invoices.  I get free bottles too and the invoices are extremely clear.

Purity Product Positive Comment

I am sorry to read about this individual's experience with Purity Products.  I have been buying products from this company for quite a while, sometimes on, sometimes off but I am on again.  Currently, I am on the Zesotorine (spelling sorry) product.  It has been my experience that I have had no problems with these folks canceling the auto ship.  Generally, you can altar your auto ship particulars online; cancelling-however-they want us to call.  Why?  Essentially, to do whatever it takes to keep you as a customer, and that's a good thing.

Some time ago, I was experiencing employment issues, and my income was down.  I wanted to cancel my auto ship as the products (well worth the money) were pricey but THEY WORKED.  However, I am practical and sometimes I have to forego health for survival (oximoran, right?)  The CSR went to the extreme to cut my price an additional 25% off the regular price; shipping was still not charged.  But, I still cancelled in spite of her efforts to keep me.  But because of her efforts, I have returned even though-once again-I am struggling financially; I just put my auto ship on every 6 months as I expect things to be better then; if not, I'll still leave it.

So folks, when it comes to the "free" offers, there are catches and it is up to us to ensure we can get out of those safely and quickly to avoid the hassels of charges against our accounts.  We all expect a bottle to work magic on our ailing bodies, but it might not.

If you are experiencing "issues" , these supplements are really superb but either may not work for you, or take time to work for you.  So just be aware.  Also, just because they may not give you an immediate "zing!" does not mean they have had no benefit.  Supplements may take up to a month in order to see positive effects.  I am a supplement freak because my diet is not the best but my experience with Purity, they work and to keep you satisfied, the company rep has always done her best to keep it affordable.

Sorry about your experience if negative.  They will make it right, I am confident.  If not, reply to this and let me see if I can nudge them for you.

Here's a trick: if you want to get out of auto ship charges, cancel your credit card with your bank.  Most companies will then just close your account and do not open any packages; return them and get receipts from the postal office.

Bottom line: stay on top of your online purchases and beware of the free offers: they do come with catches, but those are not permanent.  The experience here is unusual with Purity as I heartily endorse their products, quality and customer care.

Good Luck!
