Purrfect Auto Service MANIPULATED SERVICES THEY RECCOMENDED ONLY TO TELL ME THAT SERVICES DONE WAS NOT THE PROBLEM. Fontana California

May 27,2009 I took my Saturn 2001 L 100 Series Sadan to Purrfect Auto Service to get a oil change & checked. Raza (service manager) told me my car needed new spark plugs ($90) and wires ($95). He said the spark plugs had some oil on them. He reccomended that I get the valve cover gasket replaced ($110) to make sure no more oil gets into the new spark plugs. I brought the car back three days later May 30, 2009. I brought along my receipt stating the reccomendation of the valve gasket replacement, wire replacement, spark plug replacement. I gave the receipt to Dee (rude manager). He took the keys and said it would be done later today. 5 1/2 hours later that day Dee (the rude manager) called me, he said "my car is ready for pick up". When I got there he said the clutch is slipping bad, and thats the reason the car is not taking off the way it should. I asked the price he quoted to me another $650 for the clutch job. I got into me car to take it home, it wouldn't move. I went back into the store to ask why they did the spark plugs (and other services) and not the clutch. Dee (the rude manager) claims that I asked for that specific service, and didnt ask them to check it. That is a flat out lie. I had to have my husband push me all the way home (about 3 miles). So now my car sits in my driveway until I can earn enough money to get the job done that Purrfect Auto Service didnt do the first time. I was manipulated into doing services not so important, so they will get paid for the necessary job anyways. I also had a $49coupon for a tune up (4 cylinder) which ended up costing me 308.56 for plugs, gasket, and wires. Purrfect Auto Service isnt so perfect. They have bad customer service. This is not a corporation, it is a franchise-this gives them reason to treat customers any way they like, no rules for them to follow.
