QMAX EDITION is a company that supposedly sales watches. Never heard of them before coming in contact with them through an internet pop up survey after I made a purchase on Amazon. I received a pop up survey, which I now realize are scams. It is a tactic used to direct traffic to online sites. After completing the survey I was told by an computer audio voice, that I could choose 3 gifts for completing the survey. When I chose the QMAX watch, I was transferred to a page that had purchase options for the supposedly gift, like a watch box, and warranty for a fee in edition to the shipping and handling charges.

At that time there was no trial agreement text anywhere on that page, or a check box stating that you agree to certain terms. Once I chose the watch box option I was transferred to the payment page where you enter your payment information, on that page, there was no agreement terms, or check box for terms agreement. I entered my payment information assuming that I was receiving a gift. The watch arrived 2 days later with just a thank you card that had the company telephone number and email address. No terms of agreement information sheet. A couple of weeks after making the payment for the shipping and handling charges, I checked my debit card statement and saw a charge for $95 pending from QMAX EDITION rip off comany.

I immediately emailed them asking why I had an impending $95 charge on my card. They wrote that I didn't cancel my trial period within 14  days, so I was charged $95, and that they would cancel the trial and I would receive no further charges and that I should check the payment page, which had an agreement check box on it. They pulled the switcheroo on me. I didn't check a trial agreement check box when I entered my payment information. How do you know if you entered into a trial agreement when it was not stated? I replied that I had not entered into a trial agreement and that I needed my $95 refunded immediately. Of course I received no response.

Who enters into a trial agreement for a gift watch that has the value of a downtown Los Angeles bulk slumware timepiece. You know one of those timepieces that street hustlers buy in bulk for $100 and sell to naive victims for a profit. The to top it of they didn't send the stylish watch that was pictured on the first page that you are transferred to. They sent a watch that looks like carnival prize from the 80's. Something has to be done about the QMAX EDITION thieves. I'm taking legal action against them to shut down that scam business!!!! Beware of being sent a QMAX EDITION web page to choose a gift, its a rip off. You will assume that you are paying shipping and handling for a gift, then you will be charged a fee 15 days later for a hidden agreement that you never agreed to. If that isn't wretched and thirsty, I don't know what is.
