Quality Auto Parts S4 Ventures Ordered part on the advise of someone representing himself as a mechanic, it's the wrong part and they won't issue a full refund Chicago Illinois

I called a company that I found through a search engine. It was to buy a differential for my 2000 VW Passat. When I told them I wasn't sure on all the specs, they transferred to me a person that represented himself as a mechanic and we walked through what my car was to identify the correct differential.

It turned out when I took it to my mechanic here the part was the wrong part. I called the company to let them know. First, they denied that the part was wrong, and then I gave them my mechanics number, and they talked to my mechanic. They then argued with not only me but my mechanic as well. They told my mechanic that HE was wrong about the part.

So now today I am still dealing with the stalling tactics. They tried to say that I ordered the new part needed when in fact, all I did was ask for a price for the new needed part. They had already placed the order without my consent. They told me that they would have to cancel the order and then they wanted to deduct a shipping fee from what they owed me for the returned part.
