DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.  THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.  DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FILE A DISPUTE WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY IF SOMETHING ISN'T RIGHT.  QUALITY AUTO PARTS WILL NOT DO WHAT IS NEEDED TO CORRECT A PROBLEM WITH A SITUATION.

I recently ordered a used fender for my truck (at a cost of $450 plus $3.99 misc. fee) using their website.  I asked for a item in excellent condition and was told that is what I would receive when I spoke with a representative on the phone to verify the order.  I stated specifically if the part needed any paint work that I did not want it and do not send it.  When the part arrived it had multiple chips with rust already developed and scratches.  Additionally it had shipping damage, scratches from packing straps and chipped paint, from being poorly and loosely packed on a pallet.  I notified Quality and was told to get a estimate for repairing the damage.  The estimate was $225 because it required repainting.  I notified Quality of the estimate.  At first they offered me a $30 discount.  I told them it was unacceptable.  Then they offered a oh so generous $50 discount.  I told them it was still unacceptable.  They replied that I could return it but I would have to pay return shipping and a restocking fee.  I asked why I should have to pay return shipping and a restocking fee for a part that was in poor condition and damaged in shipping?  They couldn't answer my question and stated they could only offer a $50 discount.  I told them I was going to contact my credit cart company to file a dispute which is exactly what I did. I notified my credit card company and asked for a FULL refund.  Several days after speaking with my credit card provider I receive a email from Quality auto parts saying we've agreed to the $225 refund and the email was seeking a reply for confirmation.  Needless to say there was no agreement and since I had not spoken with or emailed with anyone at Quality since their low ball $50 offer.  I have since had my account credited by my credit card company.  Never again will I do business with this company and I can only hope they fail and go out of business before trying to get over on many more customers.
