On August 24, 2004 I have visited with my daughter "Queens Auto Mall, Inc." a used car dealership at 134-01 Atlantic Avenue, Richmond Hill NY 11418 with an intent to purchase a car.
After finding a desirable vehicle, a 2000 Focus 4dr Sedan, the salesman stated the price, as $6000. I asked about the financial details. The response was clear: "I can give you an answer, any answer only in the posession of a minimum $5OO deposit". I handled my CHASE debit card to him, and he removed such amount from the card instantly.

Then I asked, again, about the financial conditions. His response was cool and controlled: "I have nothing to do with it, the financial manager will handling it".
Well, I waited to talk to the "financial manager". After an hour wait, the manager indicated, that he "needs more time". Two (2) hours later, I was told to wait one (1) more hour. Finally, a female voice coldly stated that, they need an additional Fifteenhundred ($1,5OO.OO) Dollars down payment, and the condition to pay the balance of $4,OOO comes as follows:

1. If the loan is a 36 Months installment, then the monthly charge is Two Hundred and Eighty Four ($284) Dollars, and

2. If the loan is a 48 Months installment, then the monthly charge is Two Hundred and Thirty Five ($235) Dollars.

After a very quick calculation, it was clear, that this dealer wanted an additional $1O,224 in the case of 36 months, and an additional $11,280 in the case of 48 months!!!!

My clear response was, that I DO NOT WANT THIS CROOKED DEAL, and I want my money back on my account.

The female said, "No way, the money is ours!!"

Next morning, I stopped at my CHASE office to make a stop payment. To date, this fight is totally unsuccesful, because CHASE is, believed or not defending the new york crooks.

If everything fails, I will file a complaint with the local District Attorney's Office and as an addition, file a small claim lawsuit against this fraudelent crooked used car dealer.

This should be a lesson for everyone, because as of today, I am still out of my hard earned $5OO!!!
