Owner/trainer Vicki Peters, against direct orders from our vet, deliberately put my horse at risk of re-injury when she tried to over work him again after recovering from 3 months of stall rest she caused to begin with by over working him. Only concern was pocketing her lesson and coaching fees. This forced us to look elsewhere and move.  Additionally, she took advantage of and mistreated my teenage daughter who then refused to return to the farm. Moving day she chained up my horse and called the police for boarding fees for the remainder of the month. We were completely paid through the date we moved.

Just to get my horse away from her and her barn, I paid the board through the rest of the month and left. No one in their right mind would have stuck it out for the month.

Legal action to follow.  Stay away!

Report is Fabricated, Twisted, and Illegal

AUTHOR: Kristin - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, December 10, 2015

I take serious issue with the libel that's been committed in the bogus report against Quiet Victory Farm. In reality, this libeler, "Lisette," refused to give her (daughter's) horse the care and maintenance that it needed, and Ms. Peters picked up the slack. Vicki Peters is an animal lover with high integrity; she is a professional in every sense of the word.

I can tell you firsthand that the well-being of Ms. Peters' horses and of her clients is paramount to Vicki; the love, attention, training, and care in her stable is unsurpassed. To say that Ms. Peters' only concern is her wallet is grotesquely inaccurate, rude, ungrateful, and illegal.

Vicki Peters took pity on Lisette's situation and was generous enough to let her daughter work off some of her horse's boarding fees. Still, Lisette tried to skip out on thousands of dollars of debt.

She was given every courtesy and benefit of the doubt; she was treated exceptionally well. Yet, while Ms. Peters was away, Lisette attempted to secretly remove her horse from Quiet Victory Farm with the hopes of stiffing Ms. Peters on the outstanding bill. This is the day that Lisette refers to as "moving day."

Yes, it's likely true that no one in her right mind would have "stuck it out for the month." Specifically: no one in her right mind would have tried to cause more trouble and stiff Vicki for one more dollar---she would have been arrested. I'm sorry if Lisette was embarrassed, but she brought it on herself.

Titusville and the surrounding area is so fortunate to have Vicki Peters and Quiet Victory Farm. If you are looking for riding lessons, training for your horse, and/or boarding, look no further: Vicki Peters is the consummate horseman and teacher. You and your horse are in the best of hands at Quiet Victory Farm.

Petty and Inaccurate

AUTHOR: PonyGirl368 - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, March 12, 2014

I have been a part of Quiet Victory Farm for almost 4 years.  Vicki Peters is an equine professional whose care of the animals and treatment of her students is above reproach.  Her riders and their horses are very successful under her care and education.  Her facility is immaculate and kept to the highest of standards.  She is often asked to take in horses to her facility with prior injuries for rehabilitation according to industry standards, veterinary guidelines and her personal experience and knowledge and reputation from the past 25+ years.  All of these animals have thrived from her care.

What this individual fails to mention is that, as with most boarding facilities, she signed a legally binding board agreement within which she agreed to provide the owner with at least 30 days written notice of her desire to leave the facility which she failed to do, and by signing that agreement obligated herself to pay for those 30 days in full - not just up to the date of departure.  She also fails to disclose that she owed the farm back fees as well as back veterinary expenses.

It's a shame that this person has chosen to be so petty and attempt to slander the name and good reputation of someone who helped her daughter so much in her riding, as well as work out very fair arrangements for her daughter to work at the farm to assist in relieving some the family's financial burden.  Nothing in this complaint is accurate. Shame on you.

False alligation report

AUTHOR: fairness girl - ()

POSTED: Sunday, March 09, 2014

This original report filed by Ms.Lysette is absolutely a vindictive false report

against this farm. I have first hand knowledge about this reliable facility. Ms Lysette is a disgruntled customer who tried to leave without paying her bills. She should be liable for trying to discredit a facility that has nothing but care and concern for its borders and their horses. It seems to be a fair assumption that this lady didnt get away without paying and is trying to get even by telling lies to retaliate.
