We received our Qwest Communications phone bill today.
We only have a basic phone line thru them for internet purposes.
The usual monthly cost for that alone is $26.15.
We do not have a home phone even plugged in; therefore, we
never use our home phone number to make nor receive calls.
Our bill this month showed a charge for a collect call for
$15.54 for 10 minutes for a call placed on Aug. 26th, 2008 at 8:19am from Greenriver, Wyoming (307) 875-9957 to Denver, CO (303) 936-xxxx.

We called this Wyoming number and it rang to a fax machine. This charge was on the backside of our Qwest bill. It said a company name of The Billing Resource www.thebillingresource.com OSP Communications. 1-888-296-8079

I called Qwest at 1 800-244-1111 and talked to Jennifer who was very helpful. I discussed the issue with her- she also found it odd. She called The Billing Resource via 3-way. We spoke to a woman named Felicia,
agent ID # 2006. Felicia said something about this collect call being from a subscribed calling card thru OSP Communications. I asked her to remove my phone number and name from her system and unsubscribe me
because nobody in my home has a calling card nor even uses the home phone number. She verified she did this. She then said if we wanted the charge removed
that she would have to transfer us to OSP Communications to dispute it with them. Jennifer from Qwest declined to be transfered since we were getting nowhere with this company. She was kind enough to remove the illegal charge from our bill and thoroughly noted our account about this unauthorized and illegal activity.

I strongly urge you to very carefully look over all of the charges on your phone bill every month to make sure no illegal charges are being billed to you and call your phone company immediately to resolve the issue if there is one.
