I signed up for Qwest Broadband 6 months ago. I was told I would get a free modem if I upped to the faster service. First month I got a bill for 59.99 for a modem. I call in. They tell me not to worry and that I would get a credit for 59.99 in 4 months. Fast forward 6 months. I have been on hold with qwest for 1.5 hours today. Been dropped twice and had to call back. They are telling me they have never offered a free modem. LIARS. I am so pissed. If they don't offer me a 59.99 credit I am NEVER going to use them again.

CenturyLink Centurylink purchased Qwest Corporation in the 90's and I had a lifetime contract with Qwest to have 40 meg of internet for life for 29.95 - Century cancelled that contract and tried to sell me another one. they refused to acknowledge that fact that ther Cancalled my lifetime service and tried to sell me on another plan.
