LAS VEGAS RESIDENTS AND VISITORS. Be advised of this facility. I have much experience with ROBERT ROMAINE - the "R" in R & M Auto Repair Xperts. You may see my ripoff report on Frank Lee's Meineke, or Meineke Serene. Robert Romaine was the manager of this facility. While working for Frank Lee, Robert Romaine was Frank's dirty-work boy. Robert Romaine is notorious for CHEATING elderly women and young girls. The cases of Barbara Dewees, and Mai Tran are textbook Romaine.
Barbara Dewees was an 84 year old lady with a cracked fuel line - a $250.00 repair. In an egotistical misdiagnosis, Romaine deemed her fuel pump inoperable. He then sold her a $900.00 fuel pump replacement. He repaired the fuel line, and ALSO replaced her fuel pump with a defective (cheap, low-quality) fuel pump. The widow Dewees had to make three subsequent visits to Frank Lee's Meineke in order to get an operable fuel pump. One of these was preceeded by a braekdown on I-15 in August heat. She's 84 yoars old.
Mai Tran was a 19 year old girl who had no family support ( a man to protect her from ripoffs). Her wheel alignment job was one that was beyond the capabilities of Robert Romaine and Frank Lee's Meineke. In order to capture her money, Romaine assured her that he could fix her car. $950.00 later, and a car that steered no better, Romaine sent Tran on her way. Romaine claimed to have installed new Tie Rod Ends (from the vehicle's manufacturer) that hung on the wall as he collected her money at bill-out. Romaine later returned these parts to the dealership for a refund.
Robert Romaine, for these and many other cheats, is a typical ripoff mechanic. Beware of R & M Auto Repair Xperts for these reasons.

Friends: Robert Romaine of R&M Auto Service "Experts" has responded in true Robert Romaine form; excuses and lies. This is the typical denial of an excuse maker. One truth was written in Romaine's rebuttal. That is that Romaine was a manager. However, not mine. Robert belonged to Frank Lee, and shared his dishonesty. This made these two quite a duo. Folks; give these guys a try if you must. The fact is that Romaine's new shop is doing poorly, because of skilled competition and dishonest practices. As Romaine suggests, check other review sites. I've reported him there, as well. I am, indeed, on a bit of a quest to expose dishonest/underskilled auto repair shops. These people are like bad cops, they ruin it for the good ones. Many of Romaine's online reviews are written by Romaine, people he knows, and his employees. This is a common practice in any business, especially auto repair. There are many good auto repair shops in Las Vegas. R&M Auto Service "Experts" is not a good auto repair shop.

My name is Robert Romaine, I am the owner at R&M Auto Repair XPerts. (Formerly Jim Hughes' manager at Meineke, and the main character in Mr. Hughes' fictional bad reviews). I pride myself in taking very good care of my customers, day in and day out, and ALWAYS have. As far as Jim Hughes, he just cannot let go. Jim, unfortunately, was terminated from the same Meineke that he mentions in his reviews, for MISCONDUCT. I was his manager at that time. I don't know why he holds such a grudge, but one thing I DO know: I haven't seen him since then (2008-2009), and he definitely has **never** been to my own shop, R&M Auto Repair XPerts. Regardless, I felt I should reply, and invite anyone reading this to also check my Google, Yelp, or Repair Pal reviews. As you will see, due to all the great reviews and happy customers (on multiple sites), these accusations are un-true, and un-warranted.
