When searching for new skincare products,  I came across a user review that raved about a couple of products from Radiantly Ageless so I went to their website to check it out.  The website looked legitimate and professional. I was enticed by their 3 day 50% promo so I placed an order and told my girlfriend who also placed an order and we received email receipt confirmation.  Thinking that 50% off was such a great deal, we placed an additional order, except my girlfriend didn't get the 50% off.  She decided to contact the merchant via email then by phone to cancel her order.  Several emails went unanswered so we did more investigating.  All phone calls went to an answering machine. The contact email adress on their website should have been a red flag: ageless@email.com, but we had no reason to contact the merchant before the purchase.  In the confirmation email, there was a number and email adress to contact for any questions.  You always get an answering machine and the email adress is for a personal gmail address.

Upon further investigation we found that they also sell their products on ebay and go by Beauvisage for less than what we paid.  The physical address when Googled was a residential address. When I called the merchant phone number on my credit card statement pertaining to the charge, there was also a recorded call saying that it was a 3rd party payment processor. Reviews on Amazon were similar to the one I noted at the top which indicated it was a sham review.  At this point I was concerned enough to want to cancel my orders but was unsuccessful at getting a hold of any live person or having my correspondence returned.  There were no reviews from actual customers, nothing posted on youtube about the products.

I am a diehard online consumer and this is the first time I encountered something like this. I was able to contact my credt card company and dispute the charge.  Even days after the order and the charge had posted to my account, I never heard from them.
