Rainbow Ventures Property Management Kelly Rojas Beware of bad property manager Arroyo Grande California

Kelly Rojas is a property manager in Arroyo Grande, California, her company is Rainbow Ventures property management.  She rented a house to my girlfriend and was a very bad property manager.  When we had maintenance problems with the house it would take weeks or months to get a response from Kelly Rojas.  We would call and text her daily with no response, when she finally did respond, it was with an excuse and blaming others for not gettting the work done and still, she did not get the maintenance taken care of.  We were told by the owners of the house that they gave Kelly Rojas several months advance notice that they wanted to retire and move back into their house.  Kelly neglected to share this information with my girlfriend and her two young children.  Kelly us very short notice to move out.  We were able to get a new place and move out but Kelly Rojas and Rainbow Ventures did not return the security deposit.  7 months after my girlfriend moved she mentioned to me that she still did not have her security deposit returned.  I started calling and texting Kelly Rojas asking that she and her company return the deposit.  Kelly gave me a lot of excuses, told me a variety of stories that contradicted themselves and still did not return the deposit.  This went on for several weeks and I personally called Kelly Rojas about 20 times asking for the deposit.  At the end of this adventure Kelly Rojas gave me a guilt trip saying that she had to cut a check from her personal account to refund the deposit.  She told me that she would deliver the check to my girlfriend at her new house today and she did not.  I called Kelly again about the check and finally wrote a check and put it under her door mat for me to go and collect.  Beware of doing business with this person, she is very dishonest and should not be trusted.  If you choose to rent from Rainbow Ventures and Kelly Rojas, I strongly suggest that you get a lawyer to help you get your deposit back and get your property repaired if there are any problems.
