Raleigh Walmart Supercenter DISHONEST. SELL DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS AND WHEN YOU TRY TO RETURN IT THEY REFUSE EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE RECEIPT AND HAVE PAID FOR WARRANTY. WASTE YOUR TIME SENDING YOU FROM ONE STORE TO THE OTHER. MAKE PROMISES AND DON'T KEEP IT. MERCENARY. NOT CONCERNED ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS AT ALL, ONLY THEIR POCKET BOOKS. Raleigh North Carolina

I BOUGHT 3 BRAND NEW HP LAPTOP IN A YEAR FROM WALMART. ONE ONLINE AND THE OTHER TWO IN STORE. ONLINE ONE LAPTOP WENT DEAD IN 12 DAYS CALLED TO GET IT REPLACED THEY SAID SEND IT TO THE STORE I DID AND STORE SAID, THEY CAN'T TAKE BACK ANYTHING BOUGHT OFF LINE. WENT TO THREE DIFFERENT STORES, SAME STORY. SO I BOUGHT ANOTHER HP LAPTOP. NOT QUICK FOR I HAD TO GET ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY ANOTHER NEW ONE. I BOUGHT IT AN THE MOMENT I OPENED AND SET IT UP, I HAD PROBLEMS. I TOOK IT BACK. THE EMPLOYEES HAD ATTITUDES, GAVE ME A BIG HASSLE, MY FRIEND WHO WAS WITH ME KNEW THEY WERE TAKING ADVANTAGE AND GOT UPSET AND TOLD THEM SO, THEY CALLED THE MANAGER, SHE STUCK UP FOR THE SERVICE REP, BUT EVENTUALLY I PURCHASED ANOTHER LAPTOP WORTH MORE THAN WHAT I ORIGINALLY PAI FOR THE ONE I HAD BOUGHT A FEW WEEKS EARLIER WAS ALL OF A SUDDE OUT OF STOCK BUT IT WAS BEING ADVERTISED AS IN STOCK.

SO MY FRIEND GRABBED THE PC FOR ME AND SAID LET'S GO. NOT TIL I GOT HOME DID I REALIZE I HAD LEFT MY SIMS 3 CD I HAD JUST PURCHASED INSIDE IT AND HAD NO RECEIPT. I CALLED IMMEDIATELY AND TOLD THEM TO PUT MY CD UP AND I WILL BE BACK FOR MY RECEIPT, IT WASN'T SOON AS I'VE A DISABILITY AND CAN NO LONGER DRIVE SAFELY I HAVE TO WAIT ON SOMEONE TO TRANSPORT ME. WHEN I FINALLY DID GO BACK IT WAS TO CARRY THE THIRD LAPTOP BACK, I HAD WARRANTY AND OLD RECEIPT FROM THE PREVIOUS RETURN, I WAS TOLD THEY NEEDED THE ONE FOR THAT PC. I TOLD HER 'YOU ALL DIDN'T GIVE ME IT, YOU GAVE ME THIS ONE BACK' PLUS I HAVE A WARRANTY BUT BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE MY WRRANTY AT THE TIME I PURCHASED THE NEW PC THEY TOLD ME THAT WARRANTY WAS VOID BECAUSE IT WAS FOR THE ONE I SENT BACK AND I TOLD THEM I ASKED YOU ALL THAT AND YOU SAID NO WORRY.

IT ANYTHING HAPPEN, YOU WILL STILL BE ABLE TO RETURN. LIARS! I TRIED 3 PLACES AND EACH TOLD ME NO. NO RETURN EVEN THOUGH IT'S DEFECTIVE I'VE 14 DAYS TO RETURN IT. WARRANTY OR NOT ESPECIALLY SINCE THE WARRANTY AND RECEIPT WAS FOR A PC OF LESSER VALUE SO I TOLD HER THEN TRADE OUT THIS ONE I WILL TAKE THE LESSER VALUE ONE BECAUSE I HAVE TO HAVE A PC AS MY WORK DEPENDS ON IT. THE ANSWER WAS A RESOUNDING NO ON ALL 3 OCCASIONS. WARNING, DO NOT BUY ANY ELECTRONICS ESPECIALLY LAPTOPS FROM WALMART. THEY BREAK WITHIN A MONTH TO A YEAR AND WARRANTY OR NOT THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR GUARANTEES. I NO LONGER SHOP AT WALMART AND NOTHING CAN PERSUADE ME TO DO SO EVER AGAIN. THREE DEFECTIVE LAPTOPS IN LESS THAN A YEAR WAS ENOUGH FOR ME TO LEARN MY LESSON. WHEN I THINK OF WALMART I THINK OF THE OLD SAYING,' THERE IS NO HONOR AMONGST THIEIVES" AND YES I EQUATE THEM TO THEIVES OF THE HIGHEST NATURE!.

 

I  purchased 3 hp laptops from Walmart all within a year of each other. The first was an online sale.  I opened it set it up and in less than 2 weeks, it went dead. i heard a pop like a light bulb when it goes out and the screen went totally black and the pc wouldn't turn on. Recuperating from a life threatening illness, I asked my daughter to return it to a Walmart store. She tried several and they each told her that because it's an online purchase they can not take it back in the store we would have to call online. We did. they said we couldn't send it back because we had no warranty even though it had died in 12 days. within the guidelines of 14 day.

Second hp laptop I bought, notebook. Three days later I had to take it back. I was hassled to no ends about returning it even though i had receipt and also a 2 year warranty. They said it was out of stock even though it was advertised as being in stock (false advertising) so I was forced to purchase another more expensive one. They gave me laptop but when i got home i discovered no receipt. i called out there and was told no problem keep the box if something happens. I did. they also forgot to transfer warranty from old laptop to new one. i was told, no problem

Third laptop lasted maybe 8 months, 1 month shy of the first one I bought online. Took it back and it was a nightmare. I was sent back and forth to three stores in two days. My friend who took me got upset. I had receipt but it was to the returned one and so was the warranty and because of this they refused. As my friend said, "It wasn't my fault they failed to do their jobs by not providing me with the correct receipt( they gave me the old one) or transfer warranty. Still this was met on deaf ears. Three laptops in one year from Walmart. Left me destitute emotionally, financially ad physically with all the exhaustive goose chases they sent me. Needing my laptop, I was forced to look elsewhere anywhere so i can work.  I have to have a laptop or pc because I can't show a webdesign in my mind. But they didn't and don't care.

My online order i used credit card.  My in store purchases, I used cash.
