I am a current employee working as a "promotions director" aka telemarketer, I am sick and tired of working for this company it is such a scam the hotels they send you to are suppose to be gold key accommaditions and really its like staying in a 1970's motel, the stateroom on the cruise ship is about the same.

The price is not bad considering you are recieveing it for four people but then you have to provide your own transportation to orlando and back, then there is the port and departure fees that are $198us per adult and $99 per child 12 and under. Yes you would only pay $698us but what are you really getting besides complete crap as far as I'm concerned and then they tell you that you that the package is given on a non-cancellation basis, but when you talk to the verification officer they tell you that you have a 10 day statatory period to look it over and you may cancel in that time frame, You don't even get transfered to verification it is actually just a manager who comes on the phone and does it.

All the employees there get treated like complete crap with the manager always screaming at us and swearing whenever we don't make a reservation. Mr.Donato is completely out of line when talking to his employees, he will pull you aside and ask you why your numbers are down and then blame you for him "losing money".

Mr.Donato also calls his employees F*#KING IDIOTS on a regular basis, they even made us work on the recent canadian holiday saying we had to work because we are an american based company but they were not paying us time and a half for going in and they stated that we would have they july 4th off but then they said we had to work that day as well because we worked in canada, Anyways point being its a crappy company to work for and its one big scam.

Labour Board and Employment Standards Act

To all current and ex employees of this company who feel they are being mis-treated.
Please search the ESA, or employment standards act. Most of the working conditions that you have described are covered under this Act. You have the right to complain, or contact them, and your job is protected is you have passed your probation period.
There are resources available to you, please use them.

The first thing that comes to mind is are you still employed with us?? I would think not. You are a poor representation of a company thats been in business for decades. You must have been inefficent at your job, to be so miserable. I work for this corporation, and am very pleased and proud to be a part of their family. I do very well at Ramada Resorts. Good Luck in your next job! If you don't believe in your company and stand behind them, you don't belong there, period!!
