Warning!!! No such place to stay... Ramada Plaza Resorts is Amerihost. Tried for hours on the phone with eight different customer rep's to have them refund initial deposit of $158.00. Excuse after excuse...however I was within the time frame for a refund.I requested refund due to reports of unsanitary conditions...I have a daughter with Down Syndrome who lost her step-dad (my husband) last year to cancer. She has since developed seizures due to stress/anxiety.I explained that I was only one out of thousands of people who purchase these vacations, and could they find it in their hearts to refund the original deposit of $158. No way...they will not. I even was willing to subject myself to a time-share presentation in order for her to enjoy a little Disney magic. Shame on Them! I'm writing my news station, posting a warning on my web site, and telling everyone I ever speak to about this inexcusable behavior.

Ramada Plaza Resorts is not a place you will stay while on vacation...It's Amerihost. Check out there website and see their 2.5 star rating and perhaps you'll save your time.

Ramada Plaza Resorts aka Amerihost/Quality Inn

AUTHOR: Vicky - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 05, 2005

Tried again today for resolution before faxing information to my credit card company. 'Adrian' ext 4116 at PRC* Ramada Plaza Resorts was unwilling to refund original deposits, even though I had him explain to me at length exactly where we would be staying.

I was informed that Ramada Plaza Resorts is in Ft. Lauderdale, and that the accommodations for Orlando were either, The Ramada 1000 (NOT Ramada Plaza Resort), Amerihost, or other 'comparable' hotels. There are other reports in this website that detail being transferred to other accomodations, one including two different hotels for one Orlando vacation package. Ft. Lauderdale offered an upgrade to beach front Quality Inn Ocean Pt., because Ramada Plaza Resort is 15 minutes from beach. Reports of restaurant at QInn closed, no air conditioning units that worked, mold on ceiling, etc. My daughter is handicapped, she would've gotten sicker if I had taken her there. Also, tickets for Universal Studios is only valid if you stay at Amerihost Resort 7491 W Highway 192 Kissimmee FL. Universal Studios does not sponsor this.

Is there another Class Action lawsuit against PRC* Ramada Plaza Resorts in their future?

today my husband received a voucher for $1600 in the mail for the ft lauderdale/bahama cruise/orlando trip. with the 2 bonus trips. it sounded so wonderful and that we would have this magnificent 7 day vacation. they make it sound like it's a beautiful resort...until they hit you with the 2 payments of 698. i thought for awhile and decided that i would not pertake in this due to the fact that for that amount of money we could plan our own trip... however i was misled and they lied stating that they sent my vouchers registered mail. when i confronted them about being cautious of scams they tried everything to make me feel at ease. but while i was on the phone with them i also did a search online and found your website! THANK YOU!!!! you guys just saved us alot of money and time. its a bit disappointing that we can't take this luxury vacation that they make it out to be...oh well

Forever thankful to your website
