Thinking it would be a good idea to go to Pizza Hut on Thousand Oaks and Jones Maltzburger to bring home a couple of pies turned into the pizza from he**. Randy the night manager (who is not but a child) didnt even greet us when we walked in the door. His hands were greasy from touching food with NO GLOVES on and only said 3 things to us the entire time.

1: name
2: did you call it in ?
3: it will be 20 minutes

Ive got lawn ornaments friendlier than this yutz. After he took the order he forgot about it and it sat and sat and sat more on the counter getting older and older. When we finally got it home after an hour (its friggin pizza people) the meat lovers was dried up and no sauce left on the pie and the cheese pizza was terrible. How hard is it to screw up a cheese pizza ??? They managed to do it.

I had to walk up to the counter and ask for our pizzas after lots of other people got theirs and it was a brand new world for this kid. Didnt remember who we were and didnt say oops my bad for letting the order sit for an hour. We should of asked for our money back or new pizzas but didnt want to wait another hour for a 20 minute order.

I have no idea who this kid is but he needs major training on how to be friendly. Im in a customer service based job and know how to treat folks who walk in the door. The special ed kids who work at Mc Donalds are friendlier than this kid. Not my issue you are working on a Saturday night. Deal with it and smile once in a while.

End result ????? We will NEVER darken the door of that crap hole again and it will be a cold day in he** before we ever think about going back to Pizza Hut again.

Give me a break

AUTHOR: Foos - (U.S.A.)

Here's the problem with people like you:

You waited a long time to get your pizza, and so to hedge your bets, you kick up a fuss over minor or imagined issues. You didn't like his appearance? Hell, he's been working in a hot, busy restaurant all night on the busiest day of the week. No gloves? Even the law stipulates that one must only wear gloves while preparing ready to eat food, as in salads and such. He doesn't need any gloves to handle your pizza boxes. As for prepping your food, he doesn't do that, and if he did, how would you know?

Are you telling me that you could magically see into the kitchen and watch him make your pizza without gloves? Gimme a break.

If you don't want something, don't take it out the door. That was your choice. Mistakes happen, you learn to suck it up because every fast food place in the world does the same thing. If you are getting so angsty about a pizza, it is best that you simply stay in your house and not trouble the rest of the world with your petty complaints.

I hate the whole customer service demand thing -- we all know very well that kids working for minimum wage only need to give us our food. Demanding smiles or a perfect appearance is silly, it will never happen and you need to wake up and realize that. Don't bring this inflated sense of self-entitlement to a website like this, reserved for legitimate complaints.

Low threshold.

As an adult, you should realize that everyone has bad days. He might've been a brand new manager thrown into a hectic night unprepared. As much as Pizza Hut emphasizes training and support, we get in over our heads sometimes.

Your one bad experience with this one manager this one night should not be enough to make you write off Pizza Hut as a whole.
