I opened up a Rapid Advance account and recieved an advance on future credit card sales march 2008. The ammount of money recieved was $25K I was riped off by their broker for $2,500.00 2 weeks later. The payback was 37K. I paid it down and things were okay. I had to renew in August 2008. I was told I could only get $15K and had to pay off the old advance of roughly $8Kso I recieved $7Kin my bank with a payback of $20K.

Well, with the bad economy I was in the need of more funds by the first of December. I was ahead of schedule and paid off alot of the advance due to early sales for Christmas in november. I recieved a call from Rapid Advance telling me its time to renew. Now take note, they called me! At first i was hesitent and told them I would let them know in a week cause christmas was looking good as far as sales. My balance was only 5K. A sales rep named Kadisha Moore called me again and told me i was able to get $20K to put $15K in my bank. I said ok. I was faxed the paperwork, faxed it back and recieved a phone call the next day. Kadisha told me everything was good and I would recieve the money by noon the next day (Dec. 19th 08).

Now I have a retail store and sell car accessories and electronics. I wanted to have a good selection for christmas. To save time I went ahead and placed a $5K plus order of equipment to sell. I recieved the product on Tuesday Dec. 22nd and wrote a check. I called Rapid and asked when the money would be in the bank. I was told by kadisha (today) so I felt fine. Things would be good this year. Well, no money showed up so the next day I called and got her voice mail. No return call. I called agian christmas eve and was told she was on the phone so I left another voice mail. Dec. 26th I called again, still no money and no return phone calls.

December 29th I called again, still no money and no return calls so I asked to speak to a supervisor. They sent me to a man named Quin and I got his voice mail. Jan 2nd. I called again and everyday after than. still no money , no return calls and at this point I had emailed them every day from 3 dfferent email accciunts. 1 AOL, 1 Yahoo and one hotmail, still no answer and no return calls.

Jan. 5th I bounced the $5k check and that in turn made me bounce 11 other checks. I caled again and used a different phone to call and a different name and I got Kadisha right away. She was shocked when she found out it was me so she put me on hold for over 15 minutes. When she returned she said " Oh, sorry. We can't fund you at this time" I asked to speak to a supervisor and she put me on hold for over 1 hour. I hung up. Since then I have emailed Rapid advance everyday from 2 email accounts and called everyday and left a message. No callback and no return emails.

Now I know it was my fault for writing the check that caused all the bounced checks but They should have been up front with me. If I wasn't told everything was done and I would have my money the next day, I wouldn't have wrothe the check. I just wanted to share my trouble with them.

Payback is a b*tch! I changed my batch on my terminal and Finally today I recieved a phone call asking why there has been no activity foor 14 days. I told the guy to call back and leave a message and someone would get back to him and I hung up. He called right back and I told him what happened and then told him to F**k Off ! anyway, i am sending them a final payment tomorrow and I am done! - Jimmmy

Rapid Advance is nothing more than a sham operation--it's a scam!

AUTHOR: O''Reilly2 - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, September 24, 2009

Rapid Advance is a sham operation. They do not loan money to small businesses. What they do is deceptive and possibly illegal.  This company solicited me allegedly to purchase a portion of my store's credit card sales.  I sent them some documentation and they came back saying I was approved for $7500 in a loan.  In turn, they would take 34% of my daily credit card sales.

In these tough economic times, small business needs cash flow. So I decided to take Rapid Advance's offer.  I sent them a voided check from my business account and signed their very one-sided contract.

Their Sales Rep. Tim Luculano called and said everything was a "go" and put me in touch with Umaru Mansaray who told me I would have to contact Integrity, their credit card processing company to reprogram my ATM/Credit card terminal so Rapid could start taking their fees once the loan money had been wired into my checking account.

I called Integrity and went thru a 30 min process of having my terminal reprogrammed. Several days passed, still no money was wired into my checking account.

I started calling Rapid Advance, first I spoke with my original Sales Rep. Tim, he emailed me that everything would be final in a day or two, the money would be in my account. After a couple of days--still no money. However, Rapid advance was taking their payment plus interest out of my credit card sales even though they had not given me any money!!

I spoke with another person named Karl (with a last name that is either middle eastern or armenian--as they all appear to be at Rapid) who said nothing had been approved and I had to wait several days of credit card sales before he would authorize the "final approval and get authority to fund".  This Karl could not say why Rapid was taking a payment for a loan they did not fund.

After emailing the President of Rapid, Jeremy Brown, I get a call from a Quinn (last name unknown) who essentially stated the buck stopped with him and all he needed was my 1040 and schedule C to prove I was an actual business!! Haven't they confirmed that already?? I immediately faxed the documents to him. Heard nothing and had to call Quinn again.

Quinn could not give my any estimate on when the funds would be in my checking account but said they were still in the process of approving my loan? WTF? Why is Rapid Advance taking money from my account for payment to them when they have not loaned me any money??? Totally illegal.

What I have learned about Rapid Advance from inside sources: 1.  They are in the business of getting small business customers to switch to their credit card processing services which charges much more than their competitors. 2. They sell your information 3. they are in financial trouble 4. They have numerous complaints against them with the BBB and possibly with other government agencies. 5. They are in financial trouble 6. They are scum.

Avoid them at all costs. They use deceptive practices, steal from consumers and basically feel they are above the law.

The facts presented are NOT TRUE

AUTHOR: J Brown - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, February 19, 2009

I am the President and COO of RapidAdvance. This business owner has been a customer of ours as he describes since March 2008.

We deal with thousand's of customers every year and execute over $200 million of transactions annually. We are an important source of working capital for retail merchants. As a result, our systems are fairly sophisticated. We record phone calls, we electronically image and date stamp all documents, etc.

The facts are as follows: our customer faxed in his completed application for a new transaction on December 29, not December 22. The completed application was logged into our system at 1:58 pm. It application was submitted to our underwriting department on 2:03 pm.

We declined this customer for a new transaction on Decmeber 30 at 5:33 pm. The sequence where he describes how he was promised money for a week before he ever applied for new funding is not true.

To confirm the data I personally reviewed the faxed application myself.

Because of this customer's history with us, we did reconsider his application 30 days later on January 27. Unfortunately because he had changed his terminal as he describes, we had to decline him again.

My advice: Don't rip-off the people that provide you money. Payback is tough, but it cuts both ways.

I will say that in the end this customer was honest and paid off the balance due in full on February 16.
