RAREDVDS.TV - Subsidiary Of Proliflik.com $128.99 for lousy "Copies" of "THE ODD COUPLE" TV Series! - Company used US Address on Website, but is Located in CANADA Burnt DVDs Internet

On July 7, 2006, I ordered (what I THOUGHT) was a legitimate/Licensed release of the "ODD COUPLE: Complete Six Seasons" TV Show, from RAREDVDS.TV.
I used my Debit Card to pay for the Set.


MY QUESTION: Is it too late to have my bank do a charge-back?
At the time, I didn't know I could get a Refund for bootlegs if the company was outside the U.S.
It's only recently that I found out I may be able to get my $128.00 back.


When the shipment arrived, the packaging (including the individual DVDs), looked professional -- as if they were Manufactured/Released from the Studio.

Please NOTE: At that time, I was still using my old VHS Recorder/Player to view movies and TV shows. DVDs were very new to me and I admit, I was completely ignorant about copyright laws, "bootlegging"/"Pirating"/"Burning" DVDs. And it never would have dawned on me that people would actually do this out in the open!

Well, suffice it to say, I learned... the HARD and EXPENSIVE way.
What I received was junk!
The episodes not only looked like poor VHS transfers, but they didn't even edit out the Commercials! Disc 12 was totally blank.

I wrote them four times and called three times. Of course there was no customer service. The phone number was only Voice Mail. No one ever answered, and I couldn't continue making calls from the U.S. to Canada.
When they deigned to answer my emails, it was only to placate me. They had no intention of compensating me for the junk they sent out to me.
