i saw a ad on craigslist, stating downpayment & rehab assistance. I email lon from the ad he called me and stated that he could assist me for a fee if $100.00. I overnighted it to him. Then I started getting the run around from him, his mom was sick, his son hurt himself (etc.). i finally asked him for a refund, he just kept lying so I file a bbb on him. And now I am filing this, should have known better.

Mr Wilcox was a hard money lender with a standard fee charge to evaluate a persons needs and seek funding and loans for individuals in need. Mr wilcox was hired to do so. The party involved was to provide him with the neccasary documents to file the paperwork. The Party involved never provided the paperwork and did not contact Mr Wilcox for 6 months. The fee was a 99.00 service charge for filing the Doc's and submitting to the banks, he did so without her follow up.
Mr Wilcoxs Mother is Dying of Cancer.
