I first noticed the charges on 9-23-08. I went online to check my e-statement to balance my checkbook, when I noticed a charge for $1.99 that was not in my register. Under the charge it said Grant Search and the number was 1-800-479-0979. I called the company and they said that it must have been a mistake and they would refund my money and send me a refund notice through my email to verify it. When I received the notice it was from Raven Media.

Today October 14, 2008 I went online again to check my account and saw a charge for $9.95 which again I had no note of it. This time the company said NW-AG.com and the number was 1-800-418-9320. I called this company and the customer rep said that I was Shannon Qusineberry and that I requested the charge for a search. They asked for my zip code to find my account and I gave it to them, nothing came up under my name. Then I gave them my old address and nothing came up. Then Patricia said that it must be a fraudulent account that someone made up and that they would refund my money and send me a notice showing that. Once again I received a notice through email, it also said Raven Media at the top with the address and phone number.

I immediately called the bank, which they made a note on my account and canceled my debit card. Also they put the money back in my account. I then called the Better Business Bureau in Roanoke, VA and they told me I had to file with the Vegas branch, which I did.
