Mail order customers beware! RBM Merchandising is not a legitimate business. There is no market for its "dollar store," battery operated alarms. These items are merely gimmicks used to disguise the fact that RBM Merchandising is simply another variation of the pyramid scheme perfected by the swindler Charles Ponzi. In order to prosper, you need to find more suckers to rip off in turn.

The Security Division of the State of Washington's Department of Financial Institutions summarily issued a cease and desist order directed at RBM Merchandising and Robert B. McDonald for violations of its Business Opportunity Fraud Act in 2000. This order can be read via the Internet. Washington posted it online.

The modus operandi of RBM is to bank on the fact that few individuals will make a meaningful effort to recover a refund of less than $20.00. For every one or two folks who obtain a refund, RBM will cash dozens of other checks after providing you with a few sheets of paper, envelopes and three stamps.

To add insult to injury, it has been the past practice of RBM Merchandising to resell names and addresses to other mail order businesses, so you can expect plenty of junk mail after dealing with RBM.

Rebuttal Response to Owner of RBM Merchandising

AUTHOR: Terry Gafurovic - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 15, 2004

I have a few suggestions to make to the owner of RBM Merchandising

First of all I do not see where it is good business to refer to past applicants in a negative manner. Perhaps all that you need to respond to or about those applicants is they may have been misinformed or misunderstood and leave it at that.

Also if you are receiving checks stamped NSF, it may be worth considering adding to the application letter that only Money Orders or Cashier's Checks will be accepted for an order to be filled.

In addition to this perhaps offering 1 free trial would be worth while. Undoubtably when people make money off of their first set of materials they will want to re-order. At that point require that the application fee be sent in to recive further materials.

Also if applicants encounter difficulty receiving materials their should be some way that they can contact your business to resolve the matter.

Please be aware that I myself recieved your application and decided to research the business before submitting the application. I have not found anything but negative information on your company. I have found several claims that applicants never recived materials and even court documents from the state of Washington against your company. I am positive that there are 2 sides to this and I am still interested in your company if there is any way to show that this is legit.

My main concern at this point involves income tax. If I were to profit from your company I would need to pay income taxes. Does your company take taxes out or are the applicants solely responsible for this? Why are there no financial statements?

I am interested in your company and I encourage your response. When I receive positive feedback I may send in my application and I may encourage several of my friends to do the same.

RBM MERCHANDISING COMMENTS ON BUSINESS

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 29, 2004

Dear Business Friend,

As you can see, any business can receive a complaint. Even mine, after being in business since 1982, there are always people like "Samuel of Galena, IL" with ridiculous comments. A person like this is nothing but a negative pest with nothing better to do but complain. This ignorant fool won't even give his address. A person like this does not make any effort to positive business relations.

By the way, I have met IN PERSON with the assistant ATTORNEY GENERAL in Chicago, in 2002, and reviewed my business completely. I was told, "This is the first legitimate work at home business we have seen! Just keep doing what you are doing!" And as far as Washington State, each state has its own rules and regulations about many businesses, even credit card offers. That's why they list the states the offer is available in. I MYSELF have many COMPLAINTS ABOUT RIP OFFS FROM CONSUMERS!!! I receive many NSF checks and checks written on "CLOSED ACCOUNTS". These crooks even have the nerve to complain about non delivery of an order, WHEN I HAVE THEIR BOGUS CHECK IN MY HAND STAMPED "NSF" FUNDS AND "CLOSED ACCOUNT". But enough of these wastes of space. I would prefer to move on to positive business.

Your EARNINGS CAN BE UNLIMITED if you follow my instructions in my RBM Merchandising and Listings sales programs. You can sell alarms by mail, or locally and make 50% sales commission or more. My sales program has a money back guarantee and can be returned for a prompt refund!

I look forward to doing some big business with you in the future! And remember, think for yourself. Don't let other people with negative thoughts and meaningless opinions keep you from doing what you want to do to get ahead in life. It's their way of trying to feel important. But, their not important. They just THINK they are! They are among the ones who will not apply themselves to business because they are afraid of failure. Usually, they have failed at just about everything they have tried. When they see someone else like you try to make it, they will tell you, "That won't work!" Sound familiar? You must apply yourself and have a positive attitude in business. Try and try again until you succeed! And you will! Just try my program and you will see!

Yours truthfully,

Robert B. McDonald
