I was Employed by this company for 20 days and Was Fired for passing a drug test.
I had a Sleepwalking Nightmare and was confronted by 2 police officers who alleged and told the company Safety Director that I was "Coming Down" from Illegal Drugs, I was then sent for a Reasonable suspicion drug test, I was kicked out of the truck 2 states away from home, Given a "bad" Bus ticket,Had to get my own ticket home. The Safety director waited 5 days after getting my test results back ( Was Reported Negative), Then said that I told her I quit ( SHE LIED) When I objected, She directed me to MR. Bob West and he said "I will make it easy for you, You are fired" and When I said his Safety director now had "Mud on her Face" he said "that babydoll" don't have mud on her pretty face" and if he would have known I was "Indian", He would have not allowed me to be hired in the first place. This Company is NOT WORTH WORKING FOR, they DO NOT RESPECT YOU, They are greedy and you do not matter to them.
I had to contact the US Dept of labor, and the EEOC to file charges. The State of Arizona and the City of Eloy is Next in this Lawsuit.

Good Company to Work For
AUTHOR: Nathan Walsh - ()

I worked for R.E. West from 2008 to 2010 as a over the road driver before leaving for a City job. When Mr. West hired me, he stated the only thing he could guarantee me was a check every week, which sounded fair enough, and was, just as he promised, always there. I made pretty good money with them and would still be working for them had I not got a City job. R.E. West was my 3rd trucking company and by far the best. These folks are no nonsense and fair.If you do your job safely, politely, and on time, you will have no problems. If you don't like to work or like to play games or are unsafe, this is not the company for you. And as far as Ms Donna Tomlinson, she was no nonsense as well. I have had my rear end chewed a time or two over the phone by her for picking up and dropping trailers with safety issues, which I deserved. I also have a friend that was fired by her for too many accidents, and she gave him a favorable separation so he could get another driving job. So I am unsure of unfavorable reviews.Thank you, hope this review helps folks.

The job had so much promise. The most demotivating factor for me not to work i have ever experience. In simple terms favouritism. I arrived at my work place. Four new employees. Two in training and one in the same sitiuation i was in. He was offered a motel and company car. I was left to sleep at truckers longe their site. three day weekend was comming up. I was told i will begin working saturaday. while the other person till tuesday. +im proud to be an American served in the navy 14 yrs. i was treated like a 2nd class citizen for being a Mexican American.

Sleepwalking and driving?

I think they had good cause to fire you and it would be hard to fight. Nobody wants a sleepwalking driver. I spent 3 days of hell training with them. They will only hire the best, and I am not the best. They dumped me out far from home after torturing me and I doubt if I will get paid for any of it. It seemed they did have a racial hate wagon that I refused to jump on. Like-minded drivers will get hired by them and do well. I am putting the whole ordeal behind me and trying to kill some sort of black fungus I picked up in that truck. These good old boys like a good fight more than they like making money and I refuse to deal with them. I anything, I would like to thank them for pushing me out of commercial driving. The job aint worth the money and the losses aint worth fighting for.
