This company advertises for a part time job then without any contact other than e-mail, and once you apply through their links, they say you are hired.  Now you must send them your credit card info for a $95 deposit, AND your full social security number.  They specify

NOT a pre-paid credit card, but a card that links to a bank.

Furthermore, their job posting states they have been in business for a year and a half, YET their domain was just registered last month.  NEVER pay money to a company to get a job unless you are having to buy a product kit or something, and even then you best be sure the company is valid (such as AVON).  EVEN if they say you will get your money back.

Here's their full ad:

Part Time -- Work from Home -- $15/hr base+commission

This opening is for a work-from-home inbound call agent. In this role, you would be assisting prospective customers by answering their questions and providing information about our proven solutions. This is the most low-key, laid-back sales position you'll ever come across because we only work with qualified, interested customers, and our company generates ALL of the inbound leads for our agents.

We are searching for VERY specific people. Please read this advertisement entirely before moving forward.

You MUST be able to say YES to all of the questions below before applying. If you are not a strong YES to any of the qualifying questions below please consider other opportunities.

1. I am comfortable working on the phone (this is vital as most of your work will be on the phone)
2. I have a quiet place to work without distraction
3. I have solid verbal skills, and am articulate and easy to understand
4. I can work with limited supervision
5. I have 1 to 2 hours per day available to work and understand this is a Part Time position to start
6. I can follow a script
7. I am ethical
8. I enjoy helping others
9. I am comfortable working from home

Our marketing firm is doubling in size in 2015. We are growing our team from 70 to 140 inbound call agents. These openings will fill up very quickly so please read this posting from beginning to end and apply through the provided application link below if interested.

Our retention rate of call agents was 95% last year! People like working with us because we offer flexibility, advancement, a stress free environment, and strong income!

*No hard core sales pitch necessary -- we only talk to qualified prospects ready to move forward
*No experience needed -- our solutions are simple to learn and simple to explain
*NEVER need to sell to family and friends. We supply ALL leads, always!

This is a VERY unique opportunity -- the following details are extremely important to understand.
Reactive Marketing Corporation (R.M.C) is a small, 2 year old marketing agency that provides consumers with real solutions to their immediate needs.

We spend thousands of dollars every week advertising our solutions to people who are in immediate need of legal assistance for a variety of legal scenarios. Most commonly:

• Landlord / Tenant disputes
• Estate Planning / Will preparation
• Eviction notices
• Debt Collection Legal Consultation
• Contract Review
• Civil Disputes
• More. . .. . .

When a person responds to our legal-solutions advertisements we qualify and screen the prospect and then forward them to our inbound call agents (you). We train you to simply follow a 10 minute script and answer questions. If you're good on the phone, 50% of your leads will convert into customers. If you're average you'll convert 35%. We don't have below average agents on our team.

Our phone approach with prospective customers is educational and never pushy. These people NEED what we have.

Most of our prospective customers contact us because they realize they are unable to afford traditional legal assistance for the various issues they are experiencing. The majority of attorneys in the United States charge anywhere from $200 to $350+ per hour for their services. People come to us for a more cost-effective alternative. We simply refer these customers to a Legal Access Membership plan that provides customers with immediate access to top-notch attorneys for far less than hundreds of dollars per hour. Our response is extremely favorable.

*You will NOT be providing legal advice to our prospective customers, you would simply provide them with information about an affordable Legal Access program that they can use for immediate assistance in the resolution of their legal issue. 35% to 50% of our prospects immediate enroll in the program!

We've been doing this for a year and a half and our business has seen month over month growth for 14 straight months! 2015 is going to be an enormous year for us.

If accepted, your job would be to simply receive leads from interested/qualified customers via email. We ask that you follow up with these customers within 24 hours (the sooner contact is made the better). You would provide us with a very short summary of your contact with each prospective client and submit enrollment orders when applicable.

This position is Part Time to start and can potentially move to full time after 60 days. Hours are extremely flexible and dictated by you. You can follow up with customers anytime between 8am to 8pm Monday thru Friday.

- We offer a $15 per hour base pay with the ability to earn much more through commissions.
- Training is all online and can be coordinated around your schedule. If accepted, you will have a training manager to assist you in your training and development.
- You MUST have your own phone with long distance minutes available to work this position as our leads could come from anywhere in the country.
- We cannot accept candidates with felony convictions that are less than 10 years old or involving white collar crimes.

Reactive Marketing Corporation is a scam

AUTHOR: Nancy - ()

POSTED: Monday, March 02, 2015

I also signed up with Reactive Marketing Corporation and received only a partial refund after they withdrew their job offer. I called Legal Shield and cancelled my subscription, and when I mentioned I was a victim of a scam, the customer service rep at Legal Shield asked me if the name of the company was Reactive Marketing, and even mentioned Eric Lokke. I told them I dealt with Vanessa Hadley, who is the New Agent Coordinator with Reactive Marketing Corporation. Legal Shield told me they have received many dozens of complaints, and have launched their own investigation into the matter. They confirmed to me as well this is a scam.

None of my emails to Reactive Marketing requesting a full refund have been answered.

When something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

Is Reactive Marketing Corporation legit?

AUTHOR: LRB - ()

POSTED: Friday, January 16, 2015

Eric,

Are you able to provide me with contact information for references who have worked for Reactive Marketing Corporation? Perhaps their insight and experiences would be better suited for legitimizing the company.

Regarding Reactive Marketing Corporation's "physical location & corporate address" I am aware of a company that allows virtual businesses to rent the address provided in Reactive Marketing Corporation's emails and on the website. When I goggle 310 4th ave S Minneapolis, MN 55415 the first link to pop up is http://www.davincivirtual.com/loc/us/minnesota/minneapolis-virtual-offices/facility-1342 to rent a virtual office at that building. So having an address, specifically at this location, does not legitimize Reactive Marketing Corporation.

Lastly, the toll-free number provided is never answered by a live person. One is always directed to a voicemail that only allows to leave a message. I have done so and still have yet to receive a call back. Having a legitimate business means being able to call and speak to a live person. Constantly and exclusively only being able to communicate via email does not legitimize Reactive Marketing Corporation.

I called LegalShield directly and was told a manager in the Associate Verification Dept. said this is definitely a SCAM and do not pay Reactive Marketing Corp. a dime.  Google the phone number given on the acceptence letter as well and see the false info.  I just wanted to make sure I helped others identify this without having to try and reach Mr. Rokke who never replied to my e-mail as well.  Best wishes and good luck folks!

Reactive Marketing Coporation is Legitimate

AUTHOR: EricRMC - ()

POSTED: Friday, January 09, 2015

First, the person that posted this erroneous complaint about Reactive Marketing Corporation has never worked with our company and therefore has little credibility attached to their complaint.  It's nothing more than an opinion.  Everyone is entitled to their opinion regardless of how unsubstantiated it is.

We will respond in the effort to prevent people from being misled by the false misrepresentations made by this anonymous complaintant.

For starters - we disclose our process, recruitment conditions, and terms to all candidates in the beginning stages of our process.  Our recruiting process works for us.  We don't offer a normal 9 to 5 job, what we offer is unique and not for everyone.  It's an opportunity to work from home, with a base pay and zero cost for tools, support, leads, etc.  We've estimated it costs our company just under $500 in hard costs to set up a new agent with all of the tools, training, systems, and support they need to work with us.  There is no cost to work with us and there never will be.  If someone wants to register for an upcoming training they place a small deposit down once they are accepted into our training session.  Please understand, our costs begin to accumulate immediately and a deposit is our only way of protecting our investment.  It's immediately refunded once training begins.  Again, it's our process and it works for us - if you don't agree with our process that's your opinion and you're entitled to it.  The bottom line is simply that it's necessary to protect our company.  We could provide no tools, no base pay, not support and our costs would be minimal and therefore no need for an investment.  We chose our business model and it is what it is - and it works.

Secondly - Payments are not made out of country.  That is baseless and doesn't deserve a response but I'll give it anyways.  Anyone with any knowledge about secure financial transactions would know immediately that fraudulent companies don't ask for credit/debit card transactions.  They ask for wire transfers and western union deposits.  In order to accept a credit card, a company must have a physical location, provide identification to the processor along with their social security number and other proof that the business is legitimate.

Finally, we are a fairly new and growing company.  We upgraded our website and domain in January, 2015.  This is a positive thing for us and makes sense.  We have a corporate address, phone and email address.

The bottom line is it doesn't matter what a company does, there will always be someone with a dissenting opinion.  The unfortunate thing about opinions is some people like to pass theirs on as fact, this isn't the case here.  I can be emailed personally at eric.lokke@reactivemarketingcorp.com
