Readers Across America Door to Door Ripoff Denver Colorado

Typical door to door scam. Teenager comes to door claiming to sell magazine subscriptions. Claims to be working toward educational/travel abroad opportunities that their company will provide them if they get a quota of subscriptions.

Typically they claim to only need several more subscriptions to reach their goal. They have an official looking receipt book and a nice listing of available magazines.
Never heard from them again after they cashed my 36.00 check.

Next time someone comes to door trying to sell something, I will ask them to wait while I check the internet to see if it is possibly a scam. I have never heard back from anybody who has sold me anything at my door step, and I will never again buy anything at my doorstep.
