This Law firm is nothing but a used car lot full of uneducated sales people who are promising the moon to distressed home owners. They are selling home owners on multi-party Law suits or Mass Joiners in the state of California and in other states across the country. They are promising monetary damages to home owners, principle balance reductions, sale date stoppage and interest rate reductions all as long as you join their multi party suit against chase, Wells Fargo, indy mac, Bank of America....YOU NAME IT and they will claim that they are in suit against them.

They are completely misleading home owners and try to hide it all by claiming their lead attorney Chad Pratt has a Clean Bar License and that they have a A+ rating on the BBB...Look Closely their rating with the BBB is not even accredited. This law firm is completely defrauding homeowners and is no different then a huge Ponzi Scheme, the only difference is they are claiming that they will turn your underwater property into an investment again. They have offices set up all across California and Real Estate Law Center is brokering themselves off and splitting fees with non attorneys. These brokers are running a floor of relentless sales people who are acting as attorneys and getting these innocent home owners to give away thier last dollars to lies!

This Law Firm is complete fraud and its a shame that attroneys like this exsist. Run Away from MASS JOINER or MULTI-PARTY LAW SUITS, its a scam. Please go to the link below which was issued by The Federal Trade Commission and below it another link article issued by The Department Of Real Estate

DEPT OF JUSTICE IS CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING/FILING CASES AGAINST RELC

AUTHOR: Robin - ()

POSTED: Saturday, December 21, 2013

I am a consumer who hired Real Estate Law Center.

They promised to file a lawsuit for me on an individual basis. I paid $5000 down and $1500 a month. Time passed as I was billed and given one excuse after the other until finally they sent a draft of my complaint. There were so many mistakes, the document wasn't even worth filing. I immediately cancelled and filed a report with the Calfifornia Bar Association.

After I cancelled, RELC tried to bill my checking account. Luckily I had stopped payments on all incoming drafts. The California Bar Association investigated Chad Pratt and RELC and concluded that this case should be forwarded for prosecution. My case is currently being processed at the US Department of Justice along with 3 other cases. I'm told a trial date is to be set in January.

According to my opinion based on my personal experience with RELC and direct interaction with the US Department of Justice, REAL ESTATE LAW CENTER IS A SCAM - AND ARE CURRENTLY BEING PROSECUTED. IF YOU HAVE BEEN A VICTIM, CONTACT THE CALIFORNIA BAR ASSOCIATION AND FILE A COMPLAINT. THEY EVEN HAVE A FUND WHERE VICTIMS CAN RECOVER FINANCIAL LOSSES FROM THESE PREDATORS.

Please note: I searched the databases for hours and thus far found ONLY ONE case Chad Pratt won against a lender in a slam-dunk case as the bank accidently foreclosed on the wrong person. But this case has little in common with the mortgage complaints Pratt is pursuing against banks in these mass joinder cases he is filing on behalf of homeowners. There are very few, if any, cases that have been won against big banks in this mortgage crisis except for the occasional class action suit. The big banks have too much power and it appears they've tied up all the decent law firms by hiring them thus creating conflict of interest monopolies on the best lawyers. It would take one hulluva lawyer to beat these big banks and I don't see RELC as being in that caliber.

RELC does file cases against the bankS HOWEVER anyone can file a case. It doesn't mean they will win. RELC HAS LOST ALL OF THEIR MASS JOINDER CASES THUS FAR according to what I saw on Justia dot com where all cases can be reviewed... But it's a very lucrative process to collect $5000 from hundreds, even thousands of homeowners and go through the motions of filing - even if you KNOW you won't win. Get it??

SCAM, Fraud, Ponzi Scheme....Says Who?

AUTHOR: Pat - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 13, 2013

I like the idea that as consumers, we have access to websites like the Ripoff Report in order to obtain information pertaining to companies we are considering doing business with.  As a homeowner who was affected by the mortgage meltdown in 2007, I have probably saved myself on at least two occasions when I learned the companies were scammers to the point that one of them was shut down by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

The only complaint I have regarding these websites is the ability for anyone to say anything about anyone without identifying themselves, like cowards in the night.

I personally know 3 individuals who are clients of the Real Estate Law Center and so far, they are still in their homes and moving forward with their lawsuits.  They were not promise anything other than the best fight they can provide and from this fight, come whatever settlements they can negotiate.  They never guaranteed anything and in fact, when interviewed, they performed a compliance review, where they make it very clear that there are no guarantees of a specific outcome and they make you sign a document, clearly establishing this fact.

How ignorant is the author to indicate that the law firm is not a member of the BBB, which should actually be a good thing versus a company who pays for higher accreditation.  But to make him look even more ridiculous, the BBB of Southland, which serves the greater Los Angeles marketplace, was shut down by their national organization over the last few days for their fraudulent activities involving membership fees.  Go to the following BBB link, http://www.la.bbb.org/article/Better-Business-Bureau-Expels-Los-Angeles-Organization-for-Failure-to-Meet--40711.

So most importantly, the information submitted by the author of this article sounds more like a person who works for or fights for the mortgage business and stands to lose money, if more and more homeowners begin to fight for their rights and stop the short sales or trustee sales.

Ponzi scheme he says..well, this whole mortgage business is a Ponzi scheme and I dont see him blasting the lenders for all the damaged they caused.  I like the way he tries to prove his point by showing us articles from the FTC and the DRE, who have both failed to protect us from these fraudulent lenders and their conspirators.

If there was so much concern for us, why have none of the key people running these Wall Street firms or major lenders or service providers gone to jail.   Why are these alleged federal, state or local programs not worth the paper they are written on?  Why are the majority of the homeowners needing help ignored?

For most of us, I wish we had the opportunity back in 2007 to sue our lenders but unfortunately it wasn't practical back then.  Today, it is a different story.

Either way, readers, you be the judgeSemper Fi

Let's look at facts, shall we?

AUTHOR: Sebastian Gagyi - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, March 01, 2013

My name is Sebastian Gagyi and I work as an Intake Case Manager for Real Estate Law Center PC.

First off, I will like to unequivocally assert that the above "report" is no more than a hoax. In the following I will reveal factual information that any reader of this forum can in turn verify through their own due diligence:

The head litigator of Real Estate Law Center PC is Chad Thomas Pratt, Bar license #149746.
Here is the link to The California State Bar Association:
http://members.calbar.ca.gov/fal/Member/Detail/149746
Here is what you will find there:
"This member has no public record of discipline."
"This member has no public record of administrative actions."

Here is the Real Estate Law Center PC link on the Better Business Bureau website:
http://www.la.bbb.org/business-reviews/Attorneys/Real-Estate-Law-Center-PC-in-Los-Angeles-CA-13206377
Here is what you will find there:
Real Estate Law Center, PC(213) 382-3250695 South Vermont Avenue Suite 1100,
Los Angeles, CA90005  http://www.lenderlawlitigation.com
Rating A+

Yes, RELCPC has not sought accreditation with the BBB, because the firm believes the fair merits of a business should not be substantiated by a monthly paid subscription to the BBB but through a sustained effort of providing a worthwhile service for our clients. As a matter of fact this alone speaks volumes since the accreditation factor does not affect the rating level of any listed business. In other words, our non-participatory status wouldn't affect the depreciation of our rating should any complaints be filed against us.

These facts beg the question: could an operating scam survive more than a couple of months AND maintain a spotless record with both regulatory entities and the BBB?

Regarding the assertion that this is a ponzi scheme and we are not actually filing any lawsuits:
I am including our mass tort cases below -

Chase mass tort lawsuit filed in Los
Angeles Superior Court:
Case Number: BC501513
EVANGELINE ACEDILLO ET AL
VS JPMORGAN CHASE BANK NA ET AL

Wells Fargo mass tort lawsuit
filed in Los Angeles Superior Court:  case number BC490700

Four mass tort lawsuits against Bank of America filed January, 2013:

BC498852

BC498850

BC498978

BC498851

A new mass tort lawsuit against Indymac will be filed soon

A new mass tort lawsuit against HSBC will be filed soon

A new mass tort lawsuit against Ocwen pending

A new mass tort lawsuit against Nation Star pending

Please look up existing cases here:

Since the time I've started working here, at the beginning of last year, I've developed my own opinion of how processes can be streamlined and improved in order to provide a better costumer service to our clients. As a costumer service professional, my own assessment regarding this firm is that we can indeed do much better in the areas of better communication with clients, more transparency  and simplified processes.
However,  the people I have gotten to know here, attorneys and non-attorneys alike, are honest, dedicated individuals that are working long, assiduous hours seeking a resolution for our clients.

What I am saying is not that the handling of our clients is beyond reproach, but that I do not know a single person at RELCPC that isn't doing their darn best to help our clients achieve a positive result in the struggle against lenders.

If you are a current client and have not gotten your questions or concerns answered, please contact me right away and I will do my best to solve your problem:
