In Gila Co., Arizona there's a (((REDACTED))) calling themselves the Geronimo Property Owners Group. This group claims to be 'not for profit', but has disclosed a secret bank account of over $100,000, from money they have collected from citizens hoping to donate to charitable causes. Their ring leader, Ivan Conrad Herrick, draws a salary from the account, claiming 'road repairs', security patrols, and fire fund duty. The roads are all maintained by the National Forrest Service or the County, there have never been any security issues, (except for (((REDACTED))). And the U.S. Government takes care of any fires. Its a (((REDACTED))) organization, and if a property owner in the area refuses to pay the 'donation fees', which really amount to protection money paid by that owner, the clan's leader - 'Conrad'-(((REDACTED))) , all the while, protected by 'Good Neighbors', which are also on the secret payroll. From acts of (((REDACTED))). Who knows what they call themselves now, but as of Dec. 2006 they were still unlisted with the Arizona secretary of State and the Arizona Corporation commission, as required by Arizona law. This is after 13 years of collecting 'Donations', even from major corporations of the many aliases their leader uses; Ivan S. Herrick, Ivan S. Herrick Sr., Van Herrick, Fire Captain Herrick, Patrol Officer Van, Conrad seems to be his most favorite. He also claims to be employed full time at a Pine Creek Fudge.com, although no records exist of him having a food service license, as required by Arizona Dept. of Health Regulations. It seems his only duty there, beside(((REDACTED)). He's always bragging to the nude strippers in the town about how rich he is and is always throwing cash at them for an extra peek. He claims his Pine Creek Fudge shop is raking in over 80k a year, because he only rings up $1.00 for a $2.00 charge. It's known locally that the Geronimo Property Owners Group is a (((REDACTED))). Conrad Van whoever also claim's disability to the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs and was awarded full disability and a non taxable check of 85k, evidential using his wife's dead husband's I.D. , who is buried in their front yard (((REDACTED))), and at the same time, claiming to be working these jobs for over eleven years (according to his wife's reports to the Payson Round-Up Newspaper). My wife and I have been residents of Geronimo Estates for over 16 years, and I have not recieved any money from the "secret payroll".I have a hard time believing anything "Buddy" has alleged in his report. Does sound like it would make a good movie though.

This rip-off report has rumors and lies about Ivan Herrick's wife who had nothing to do with the Geronimo Property Owners Group and Ivan Herrick's Military experience which resulted in an honorable discharge after 22 years in the USAF with two tours in Vietnam and a VA disability for that experience. The whole thing is lies made up to discredit Ivan S. Herrick and his wife.
Also there are lies about Pine Creek Fudge & Ice Cream Shoppe which is one of the best known, cleanest and loved businesses in all of the Arizona Rim Country.
Ivan Herrick helped his wife set up HER shop and he and all who have worked there have held current Food Handlers certificates issued by the Gila County Health Dept., as well as a Food Establishment License that is displayed on the wall. There has never been any problems found with the shop during regular Health Dept. inspections for the three years that it has been operating.
This Rip off report appears everywhere, against Ivan Herrick's name, Geronimo Property Owners Group name, Pine Creek Fudge & Ice Cream name and on the internet when one searches for establishments in Payson, Arizona and who knows where else.
For everyones information, Ivan Herrick, who is approaching 70 yrs. old is no longer working at Geronimo Property Owners Group, Pine Creek Fudge & Ice Cream or Whispering Pines Fire Dept. He is finally fully retired from everything except traveling.

This ripoff report was written by an unstable person who had recently moved into the community. This person did not want to live where there is a Homeowners Association and tried everything he could to cause trouble for the "volunteers" who were in charge.
The Geronimo Property Owners Group is not intended to be a registered Homeowners Association. No one is required to pay the voluntary $50.00 a year dues, and there are many who do not. This particular person asked for his $50.00 to be returned a couple of years ago, and it was. The "Group" has used the collected dues to build a new fire station that was donated to the Whispering Pines Fire Department, replace a concrete bridge crossing that the County and Forest Service would not do, purchase community signs, repair the dirt roads, etc.
Ivan S. Herrick was the "volunteer" President for about nine of the thirteen years that it has been existence. He was also was the "volunteer" Security Patrol for about eleven of those years, and "volunteer" firefighter for seven of those years.
There were red lights in the grill of the Security Patrol vehicle (owned by Ivan S. Herrick) because it was used to respond to fire calls at the Whispering Pines Fire Station, not to impersonate a Police Officer.
There have never been any secret bank accounts, all books are kept by the "volunteer" Treasurer and readily available for anyone who wants to see them.
The community voted on what money would be spent and where it would go. The only money paid directly to an individual was $100.00 a month to the Security Patrol (Ivan S. Herrick) for gas during the most recent year that Security Patrol existed.
The Security Patrol was discontinued and turned over to the Gila County Sheriff Department when this unstable individual pulled a gun on Ivan S. Herrick. The County records will show the court cases that resulted from this individuals actions.
This ripoff report should be removed from this website and clear the good name of Ivan S. Herrick who worked his heart out doing three volunteer jobs all those years, and to stop making the Geronimo Property Owners Group look bad. It has already invited some other misfit to read it and say that Ivan s. Herrick is a "bad man".

This Buddy knows nothing about Ivan's wife. Suggesting that she (((redacted)))and bad-mouthing her is worse! Ivan is a bad man, but don't talk crap about those who have nothing to do with it!

This blog was written by an unstable individual who has been causing all kinds of problems for the community that he moved into. He has a hatred for Homeowners Associations and has even pulled a gun on the past President when he was doing Security Patrol and let the air out of the Presidents private vehicle tires while he was out on a volunteer medical call in a fire truck which is housed close to this individuals home.
There have been several court cases filed in Payson, Arizona concerning this individual and his aggressive, lying and threatening actions.
His remarks about Ivan S. Herrick, his wife, and her business are totally untrue, as well as the lies about Geronimo Property Owners Group.
Geronimo Property Owners Group is a volunteer organization. Totally run by volunteers and supported by volunteers. No one is required to be a part of it or have anything to do with it. His voluntary dues were returned to him at his request when he realized that he was not required to pay them two years ago.
The voluntary dues are only $50.00 a year and have been used to repair roads, build a new fire station, purchase signs for the community, etc.
The only funds given directly to any person in the Group have been gas money for the vehicle doing volunteer Security Patrol work which has been discontinued because of his threats.
The red lights in the grill of the radio equiped Security Patrol Truck were for Volunteer Fire Fighter responses to the fire station during fire and medical calls.
The blog should be removed from your Ripoff Report Website to clear the good name of all involved.
