Submitted application for rental property with this company.  Each adult that would be living in the home was required to pay a $40 application fee.  We were told via email that our application had been accepted, we had been approved, and were given an amount of $1,600 to pay via secured funds for the deposit.  The email said the deposit could be mailed or dropped off at their box.  No indication of a deadline for them to receive the money.  We received the acceptance email at 5:30 pm on a Wednesday evening.  At 4:30 the following day, we received an email from our real estate agent asking when we were going to pay the deposit.  She said that Real Property Mgmt, stated that if they did not receive the cashiers check right then, that they would go with another preapproved applicant that already paid their required deposit with a cashier's check.  No phone calls, emails, anything notifying us of this information until 30 minutes before they closed.  After hearing this, my husband emailed Real Property's agent to tell them that we would have the deposit to them in the morning.  The agent replied back that it was too late, that they had already gone with another applicant that paid their deposit.  This company accepts numerous applicants for one property, approves them all while accepting all of the application fees, then the race is on as to who can get their deposit to them the quickest.  This is how they make their money, by collecting applications fees then telling people they went with another applicant.

This company is scamming.  Stay away!
