Realtor Do Not Purchase Leads from Realtor.com Nationwide

I purchased two zip codes from Realtor.com in August 2016 for $283.31 per month. The realtor.com representative stated I would receive 3-4 leads per month. In February of 2017 I contacted Realtor.com to cancel my services because I can no longer afford it. They told me I could not cancel and that my zip codes are mine for 12 months (until August 2017). I stated no one told me it was 12 months. He said every Realtor knows lead generation is for 12 months and that leads are generated over time. He said if you are refusing to pay, my leads will be suspended and I will be billed monthly and they will pursue collection.

As a new real estate agent, this is very disappointing to be treated this way. I am NOT refusing to pay, right now I do not have the money to pay. Although I am receiving leads every, all of the leads are useless. Most of leads already have a real estate agent, not serious about buying, or never return phone call or respond to email. I paid Realtor.com $1699.86 to talk to 2 customers over 6 months. Ridiiculous! Now they are threatening to add a collection to my credit unless I continue to pay for leads that are going nowhere. 

If you are new to real estate, Do NOT call Realtor.com or sign-up for information on http://marketing.realtor.com. You will be stuck paying for leads that lead to nowhere.
