Received a call from Kyle Suffolk, Realtor.com (805)557-2504, mailto:kyle.suffolk@realtor.com Got the real sales pitch. For $99.00 per month and a 12 month committment, I would receive 10 - 15 real estate internet leads through Realtor.com's "Buyer's Assist" which is also called, "Search Assist."  BALONEY. Not one verifiable lead has been received. Do not get duped. And now, I am locked in, It will be the biggest $1,188.00 of my professional real estate career.   If you are a Realtor or other real estate professional, next time you receive a call from Realtor.com, hang up and run. Tell them to put their verbal promises in writing. HA, see what happens!   It really is unbelieveable that a company like Realtor.com that caters to Realtors nationwide - ripp-off the very people who they are trying to help.

Update on Kyle Suffok, REALTOR.com,

AUTHOR: San Diego Broker - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 29, 2011

I updated my original complaint a few days after filing the original complaint but it's not showing so here it goes again:
The manager contacted me and everything was settled to my satisfaction within a few days.
All my months of paying for the "Buyer's Assist" - ""Search Assist" program through www.realtor.com was fully refunded and my contract was canceled.

I am ok now with Kyle Suffolk and Realtor.com.

Buyer Assist at Realtor.com

AUTHOR: Stephanie Weiss - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, January 13, 2011

Update: I submitted an online complaint with the BBB against Realtor.com and yesterday received a call from Realtor.com that they would reverse any charges to my credit card. If you are having problems with the Buyer Assist program at Realtor.com, you may want to also file a complaint with the California Better Business Bureau since the corporate headquarters of Realtor.com is located in Campbell, CA.

REALTOR.COM

AUTHOR: Stephanie Weiss - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, January 07, 2011

I too received a sales call from REALTOR.COM to purchase 2 zip codes in BUYER ASSIST. The sales rep told me I could cancel at anytime and when I called 5 days later to do so, they told me I could not. I received no leads for the $90 I paid. I did however contact my credit card company and told them about the situation so they put a 4 year hold on any purchases from the vendor. I will never order any services from Realtor.com again since this was, in my opinion, misrepresentation and fraud and if I would have done this, I would be held greatly accountable.
