I have had the misfortune to file two different rebates with these guys, one for a Hitachi hard drive from newegg.com for $30 and one from Bed Bath & Beyond for $20. In both cases I preregistered on the web site and sent in all the required supporting material. The newegg rebate was rejected supposedly because the purchase date was wrong and the UPC was missing, when in fact the purchase date was correct and the UPC was obviously included in the submission, and the Bed Bath & Beyond rebate was rejected supposedly because the UPC was invalid.

I have used rebates for years and never had any problems. Now I've had two rebates rejected by these guys within a short span of time. If only one had been rejected, I might believe that they just made a mistake, but both? I have to conclude that they are trying to defraud on purpose.
