In the end of May 2008 my husband to be and I started our search for a wedding photographer. We signed up online to a wedding site and as a result started getting several e-mails from different photography companies in downstate Michigan. We checked out the different companies packages, samples, spoke with them, etc. All the things you should do prior to hiring a company to take pictures of one of the most important days of your life. After we had done our research we decided that Red Productions headed by Robert Rogers was our choice. And only now do we know that it's a bad choice.

Prior to the wedding I spoke with a Rachel Peterson several times on the phone going over all the details, payment methods, times, etc. Everything you should talk over prior to having your wedding. Most all of our payments were made through a paypal account directly to Red Productions. We sent out two checks to them, and they were not returned to our home address. At that time we had a Lansing address for them. Now we have an Oklahoma address for them. After the wedding I spoke with Rachel Peterson only one more time. She informed me that we had actually overpaid and they owed us money. At that time, however, I said I wanted it to go to the photographer as gratuity for her excelence. That was the LAST actual communication I have had with Rachel Peterson. I have NEVER once spoken to Robert Rogers, and believe me attempts have been made.

Waiting as paitently as possible for my wedding photos I checked the site daily to see when they were going to post my photos. That was suppose to have taken about two weeks, it ended up taking about two months. Then I was informed through a second party that there were several 'delays' they were working on the photos in the order they had them and was "assured" that we would have our photos as soon as they were caught up. That was in May or April of 2008. We were married in October of 08.
Now as any of the other victims of this horrible company and evil man know I'm left high and dry with nothing to do and nothing to show for my wedding other than my contract which Red Productions and Robert Rogers have conviently forgotten about and out over $2000, not even including the court fees we've now paid in an attempt to get our money back.

The only person who I am able to get in contact with is our actual photographer from the wedding. She however is not able to help much more than anyone else. In speaking with her several times I have learned that she wasn't even hired to do our wedding until the Monday prior to our wedding. She was paid, but not well and was not paid for gas expenses. We were married in the Houghtin Lake area downstate, my husban and I live in Marquette, MI in the UP now.

We ordered their biggest photo package which promised: a custom engraved album, bridal party, family, and parent photos, 250 printed 4x6 photos, 15 enhanced photos, 2 year footage archaival, $150 gift cirt. towards more prints, slide show disk, which included the RIGHTS to the photos, and 8x10's of the enhanced photos. Full ceremony, full reception: eight hours total. We have NOTHING. I suppose you could say we have those photos from a few friends and family that are sent, but lets face it, it's not professional. We did not order any video from them, we don't have any video from family or friends.

We have filed against them in the Roscommon County Circut Court, but to no avail. We were set to have a court date with him this morning, July 21, 2009 however we recieved a letter last Friday stating that, " The defendant's certified mail letter had been returnes unserved by the postal service marked "unclaimed new address" (with the OK address stated above, we sent it to the Lansing address) if you want the defendant served by sheridd please sent to the court a written request-- stating the address where services is to be made. the sheridd will need a street address in order to make service." So what now?! We send an OK sheriff to an address in we have now. How good is that one going to be?!

What happened to our justice system? We're left with nothing to show from what was one of the best days of our lives out over $2000 and because this guy has decided to play "hide and seek" and we can't find him he gets off with our money and our memories!!!??? PLEASE to those others that he has done this to, lets start communicating and help one another out. We're all in the same boat now and the only way to prevail is to continue to fight for our memories!
