Redflex Traffic System Red Light Camera Ticket Company Rip-off coming soon to your town Scottsdale, Arizona & Oceanside, California

Coming to your town soon, this company's goal is to be in 3000 cities arcoss our nation. in Aug 2006 my daughter is suspected of running a red light, right turn in the City of Oceanside, Ca.

The violation is charged to my wife who at the time was taking a shower. The ticket was issued with my wife's data and my daughter's photo. A letter was attatched to the ticket from the Police Dept, explaining that the Registered Owner was cited and unless you confess to the idenity of the true driver the ticket will remain in your name. they enclosed a snitch coupon for the true driver's info to be sent to the Traffic Enforcement Office Scottsdale, Az.

I can live with that, I am more careful because of the cameras, but here is the problem, the letter did not come from our Police Dept, it came from a Company called Redflex based in Australia.

The Company's push is Saftey, but their real motivation is ripping off the American Citizen. They cozy up to local officals promising big returns on the fines generated by the photos. The City of Oceanside, fell for the Saftey ploy and made a deal where Redflex gets a comission on each ticket. usually 50%. They hid the information.

Now the ripoff part, Redflex acts like a Private Police Force. They also beleive and promote English Common Law, Where you are Guilty until proven innocent. They man the Cameras, process the film, collect the evidence and personal data , write and print the ticket, They email a ticket image to an employee of the City, who will rubber stamp its approval and Redflex will mail the citation along with a fake Police Dept letter.

The City employee is supposed to check the personal data and photo to see if they match, 46 yo owner 16 yo driver, as in my wife's case. Male Female, whats the difference, they ticket the Owner anyway. Remember Green, Green, Green.

The letter,which a common person whould believe is being sent by their own Police Department. tells you of the horrors, if you dont pay the fine or snith on the true driver. doubling of the fine, loss of your drivers license. Guilty, Guilty, Guilty. Funny thing they do not mention that you can plead not guilty or your rights, English Common Law now.

Back to my case, well we refuse to snitch on our daughter
and my wife appears in Court and Pleads Not Guilty,
3 days before the trial and 70 days after the violation,
Redflex cites my daughter, they are actully charging two
violaters on the same ticket. on the court date my wife's ticket is dismissed.

My daughter now receives a ticket and scare letter
she is very frightened and does not tell me. So the ticket goes to warrant and she gets a suspended license.
plus a failure to appear, total fine, $736, she is 16 and should have known better. Now she is really in a panic mode.

My wife gets scared and pays the ticket by check on my business account, then tells me. I get mad, stop payment on the ticket, and drag my daughter into court and she pleads not quilty. I call up Redflex and ask them why they did not send me, in care of my daughter the ticket and scare letter.

As I am talking to the Redflex customer service, it dawns on me that they think they are the Police. I have seen this many times with people given power. They answer the phones Traffic Enforcement Office, I had to ask the boy on the phone 3 times if he was a Police employee, I asked if they were a private company, he stalled and finally said they were a third party.

I
asked who sent the scare letter, he told me my Police Dept. I then asked why was the return info coupon addressed to the Traffic Enforcement Office, in Scottsdale , AZ. He refused to answer.

I then asked him since they are collection evdience and personal information, could he please give me the company's California or Arizonia Private Investigation License number. He told me they had one, but he did not know it and hung up.

I called again and asked a female, the same question, She
told me that only the Oceanside Police, could give that
number out, I asked her if she was a employee of the Police and where was I calling, She told me this was the enforcement Call Center and she was an employee of the enforcement center.

It took me 4 days of calling, the Mayor, City attorney, Police Dept. I finally got their corporate phone number. and after many calls, got the answer that they do not have a Private Investigator License. and did they get mad one woman named Jennifer yelled at me to have at it. I was just asking for a number. Their a little touchy about the many lawsuits the company and various cities are fighting.

I knew they did not have a number because I looked it up
on the California public data base. But I wanted the City
or Reflex to tell me. They acted like the Mafia, I received no straight answers from either party, now they are tight lipped as clams.

The next day, a community affairs Officer, from the City of Oceanside, called and warned me to quit harresing Redflex and he threated me with Ca. Penal Code 653m This is about severe threats and stalking, ( a multi million corporation ). He asked if I had any question, and I asked what Redflex's Private Investigations License was, He had a fit, told me to never ask that question again, that they did not need one. made some rude remarks about me and hung up.

I am a former private investigation employee, and I say
that they do need a lisence under the Cal, Business and Professions Code. We will see soon enough.

Now watch out these private robo cops are coming to a town near you. Up Next, Speeding Cameras, sensors in the road, Registered Owner gets the ticket, English Common law. Speeding Cameras in Vans moved to different locations. Parking meters with cameras. Disabled parking cameras, sensor in tag prevents photo. Speeding black box installed in cars.

Forgot to tell you, they also send out fake tickets, so the registered owner will snitch on the driver, and of course citing saftey, many cities shortned the yellow light from 4 to 3 seconds, so they could collect more fines.

Fight like mad, this is the Future. Our fines are going to Australia and making the directors and shareholders rich. Of course our community leaders, and only see Green, and through their greed, we are slowly converting to English Common Law. Guilty until provern Guilter, now pay up.
