Reedman-Toll Outright Dishonest-Deceptive-Fraudulent-Thieves Langhorne Pennsylvania

The airconditioning quit working in my 2007 Tahoe. I took it to the local shop who located the leak but was unable to repair it because the leak was in a line that was a dealer part only. The local shop returned the car to me informed where the leak was, no-charge. I contacted Reedman-toll explained the repair in detail and was quoted $770.00 Other dealers were $400.00 more. I took it to Reedman-Toll and was told they bring it in and provide me with an estimate for repair but that it should be pretty close to the $770.00 we discussed on the phone.

The estimate would cost $115.00 and if I decided to go forward with the repair the $115.00 would be applied to the repair. About two hours later I receive a call from Reedman-toll explaining that they had some really bad news!

One the repair unfortunately was going to take six hours not three and the total repair was going to be $1265.00 not $770.00 and there were several other issues. One the lines to the transmission cooler were leaking the AC belt was whether checked and the rotors were extremely rusty.

I found this interesting because I had personally just replaced the rotors all the way around, the AC belt is a serpentine belt that had also recently been replaced. The transmission cooler lines I can't be sure of but the car does not seem to leave any spots of oil on the driveway.

I am now faced with the dilema of taking the car back, no work performed and spend $115.00 or negotiate the cost of the repair with a crook.

I will share with everyone that I know and even those that I don't that Reedman-Toll is the worst possible place to take your car for a repair.
