Hi: I recieved an email serveral months ago and saved it. It sounded like a great job opportunity.

I have been on disability for a couple of years and I hate it. I want to work like every other joe to make a living to feel good about myself. To make something of myself. So when this came along it looked great but I was a skeptic.

It took me along while but one day my father says he know a guy where he lives who has been doing this buisness for over 2 years and hes known the guy for 15 so he thought he might try it to. But i went first.

I went to the site and ordered the $77.00 software with an $11.00 Shipping and Handling fee.

A few weeks later I recieved the software. I was very excited. I took some of there documents and revised them and made many other documents for ads ect. I was making all kinds of plans on how i was going to make this a great buisness. Deciding who i would advertise with ect..

I had been studing at http://www.refundrecoverymanual.com. And found I had some questions so I wrote them up and sent them to the email address they give help@refundrecoverymanual.com. After trying several times to get ahold of them I started to worry if something wasnt right.

But I went on and decide to research other companys like mine because during all this I had made myself a website I felt quite proud of. And thought i might get some ideas from others when I came upon this site.

I didnt want to believe because i need this so bad. That I thought I would still try until i got a customer and see if the software worked. But I read on in your site and read how it is illegal. And so forth.

I just cryed my eyes out. Because it meant more to me then the money. But no matter if we can get our money back we should. I want to see these guys go down and go down right now. Do you hear. ;) Because they took more than my money

You Can Get Your Money Back

AUTHOR: Sherry - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 26, 2003

If you went through PayPal or PaySystems online with a credit card they will refunded it to you if you tell them what has happened to you. That the software doesnt work and that it is an illegal scam. Wish Every one the best of luck. Just go back to PayPal.com or PaySystems.com. The BBB took over one of there sites to warn the public and have a link to paysystem.com.
***************
LETTER TO MY GENERAL ATTORNEY

To Tom Miller or Whom Ever This Concerns:

I have found I have been scammed/ripped off. I was well on my way to making a business for myself.

Several months back I received an email from:

Refund Recovery Software
414 W. Sunrise Hwy 326
Patchogue, New York 11772
Email: help@refundrecovery.com

This is a Phone # that I found out later was suppose to be for there office (866) 273-8088.

Refund Recovery Software told me to go to: http://trialoffers.com/wsoffers/rp/refundrecovery.html through the email they sent me, to find out about their Business Opportunity. This is the website where I paid $77.00 for the software & $11.00 for the S/H

I then received the software in the mail maybe a week or so later. This is the Web address they gave out to learn all about the business http://www.refundrecoverymanual.com This was to teach me how to use the business.

Also in the package they gave me a Customer Service email address. And I never ever received a response from them through this email address.

This was printed on a little card in the pkg: *We receive email from clients who have a SPAM block on their computer. This will prevent us from responding to your question. Please make sure you do not block the above e-mail address.

Another thing written on this card is, they told me to go to Additional Marketing Resources http://www.blanketfax.com Jeff Berg is the site's so called owner. Which tells you of another software to faxbast people it only cost another $70. some dollars. I couldn't afford it and didn't have a fax machine, thank God. I just found out it is illegal to even do that that you can be fined one hefty fine.

I had made my own website at I was quite proud of it. All the time working hard to be my own business person. Making up documents for Ads and for the business and making plans to do several Advertizing campaigns.

They told me if I had any Questions to go to help@refundrecovery.com. So I wrote up some ?s because they failed to tell me the 800# and how I should go about getting the refunds from UPS & FedEx. And there were several other business ?s. So I wrote them several times but I kept getting an autoresponder that sent e-mails to me that said it would take 24 hrs to hear from them because they had 12 people working hard in the office and it took time. so I would wait 2 days and send them it again at least 2 times. I thought it was my junk mail filters so I tried changing them. But I still never received a response from them. So I just wrote them and said to call my #. Still I didn't hear from them so I said write me. No luck. I did save the e-mail so if you would like to see it just let me know. That is when I then became a little concern.

As result of not hearing from them, I decide to go online and do a research for Refund Proccessors to see if there were other people doing the same business as I. I sent e-mails to people who seem to be doing same business. To my surprise, I received many responses from people complaining about the same things and more. They have paid the same amount of money and have received similar e-mails

I kept looking online for others and I came across a site that said something about Refund Recovery Software was a scam/ripoff business. You can imagine my fear so the site I clicked on it and it took me to this:
http://www.grandrapids.bbb.org/AlertDetl.asp?ID=184

http://www.badbusinessbureau.com/results.asp?q1=ALL&q5=Refund+Recovery+Software&q4=&q6=&q3=&q2=&q7=&searchtype=0&submit2=Search%21

I then clicked on a complaint and soon went through all 37. By the time I was done I was crying my eyes out. Because they were saying that their software didn't work, most of them were not able to get through to anyone and if they did at the 1st sign of trouble they stop the communications and then we find out that what we are told to do in their site is illegal.

I then wrote my own complaint and I really hope you will take a look at it PLEASE. http://www.badbusinessbureau.com/view.asp?id=58922

I have since found other websites that have complaint areas and again found the same kind of complaints. Some said they did everything and when they went to use the software it didn't work. And most everyone says the same thing, they can not get ahold of no one with the email address they gave. They never did have a number where you could reach them. Well, I guess some had a number from different sites. But it still was from Refund Recovery Software out of New York and Arizona. The only thing was, was they always got an error message or they just couldn't get through for what ever the reasons.

The Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan New York list this company as one about which they've recieved a number of complaints:
http://www.newyork.bbb.org/nis/newsearch2.asp?ID=1&strBCode=01210000&ComID=0121000000073250

The Better Buisness Bureau of Western Michigan
http://www.grandrapids.bbb.org/AlertDetl.asp?ID=179
http://www.grandrapids.bbb.org/AlertDetl.asp?ID=170

I am not sure if Process Refunds is affiliated with Refund Recovery or not but they were also on this website. The website that is letting people know about this Fraudulant Company by posting their complaints. But by what I read on this site Refund Recovery Software in Arizona is the same as the one I bought my software from in New York.

Process Refunds
4001 Gulf Drive, Ste 109
Holmes Beach, Florida 34217-1973
Email: mail@prossrefunds.com

Refund Recovery Software
4400 N Scottsdale Rd #165
Scottsdale, AZ 85251
Phone: 606 337 0138
Fax: 602 955 7770

I have found out there are other sites that they are looking for Affiliates: people to sell the same thing with sites that look the same or pretty close to it. I have been doing a lot of research and found many other websites that are selling it. People are using their own websites to sell it. And may and may not know that this is not real.

I have made a complaint also to the BBB in New York. They take complaints for people who bought there software from Recovery Refund Software in New York. As you seen above there are other places to file to if you bought the software in Arizona or else where. This is where you would file in New York:

Better Business Bureau
Long Island B.B.B.
266 Main Street
Farmingdale NY 11735-2618

Email: 1icomplaints@newyork.bbb.org
Web: http://www.newyork.bbb.org

There have been at least 37 people there at this site that have been ripped off by these people and a few from several other sites I visited. I am also talking now to others letting them know. Many of us also lost our money and so much more. I can't imagine how many others out there that haven't complain. Some of them may just not know who to go to. I am so angry because of the people I read about on the website were much like myself either out of work, laid off, disabled or what ever and this ment alot to them and myself. AAHHH. GRRR. PLEASE HELP US!!

What I would like to happen, is to see that these people are put out of commision. They are deceiving and stealing from people in several ways. People are investing a lot, not just there money.

I have just found that you can get your money back if you paid through Paysystems. The BBB. took over one of there websites and put up an announcement to people that they can go to Paysystems website or call them. This is the site: http://www.refundrecovery.com.

The reason I am writing you is that I have seen and heard of how your office does such a good job with letting the public know about things like this. I would really appriciate it if you can help myself and the others who were taken in by this scam, by looking into it and possibly bust the Fraudster or Fraudsters'. Please keep me informed. Let me know whether you can help or not. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you for you time.

P.S.
I was just about to send this when I received a response from What was said to come from Customer Service telling me to respond to get my money back that is all they said. And told me to go to help@refundrecoverymanual.com which is the one I have continuely e-mailed with no response but what is funny is when I replied to the Customer Service e-mail they sent there was no Autoresponder message right after I sent it. But when I again sent one to help@refundrecoverymanual.com again I received a Autoresponder response. Amazing how when one could possible get in trouble they are all formal and do it by the law. If they didn't do this they might get found out. :)

I have included in several attachments, and other things that pretain to this case. I found I can not send all that I have so I will send in another letter with my name in the subject line. And Thank you again for taking time to read this. Hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely

Sherry L. B

You wouldn't believe what I just came across. I was looking at https://www.refundsoftware.com/?src=WC-50316 and when I clicked to go back a pop up came up and this is it: http://www.refundsoftware.com/free/?src= It says you get the software free. Please check it out!
Sincerely Sherry L

Yes Brian it is. Did you notice there is no addresses for where the software is from on the bottom of the page and this one is charging less for the software. I will send this on to my Attorney. Thanks. I bet this is someone who has become an affiliate of Refund Recovery Software.
