Donald Fay Ripped me off on a car. I paid him just under $3000.00 for it. 

I didnt want to resort to typing up anything nasty on this website and I was going to just let it go and tell myself live and learn (which I still will, Because typing this isnt going to do anything to help me out of the situatuon that Donald Fay has got me in from selling me a horrible car (a Lemon).

 The days before I bought the car when I took it for test drives and when I was emailing/texting with Donnie about buying the car, everything seemed fine. He somehow made it so every issue the car had wouldnt be noticibale at first. The car seemed like it was almost in perfect condition. Within the first few days into the next week and next month the car quickly fell apart, one issue after another started to appear.

I would have been alright with paying to have all the isues taken care of, but Donnie told me to my face that whatever issues the car had that he would help me fix them at a discount If they were within the first couple months. He said he would just have his "traveling mechanic" come to my house and help me fix them. He said he couldn't and wouldn't fix them for free, but he said he was a "reasonable guy" and would not rip me off on any work that needed to be done. 

 That was my biggest problem, because when the car had issues, he was gone. I mean gone. I couldn't get a hold of him, he wouldn't return text or phone calls, he never answered his phone. he was never at his shop "Ever"... he fell off the face of the earth and totally ripped me off. 

 Still I said screw it, Live and learn was my new motto, I had no choice. I couldn't and cant stay mad at this guy anymore, because I cant have that anger and hatred inside of me when this guy has never and will never do anything to make this right. 

So that being said, you may wonder why Im deciding to type this up today. well

first and foremost, I dont want others to get ripped off by this guy.

Second, One of the big issues on my car has been, (only one tire moves the whole car), I know that normally either two of the back or two of the front tires are what actually moves the whole car ( depending on if its front or rear wheel drive), Well in my car, only one tire moves. Its suppose to have four wheel drive also, Obviously when I hit the switch for four wheel that doesnt work either. So this issue with the only one wheel on the car that actually spins almost has cost me my life, when it comes to driving on any kind of ice or snow it is absoulutely horrible and doesnt move, even on flat ground. I was told that only having one wheel control could be dangerous when it comes to ice. Besides being dangerous, it gets stuck on flat ground in a little bit of slush. The car has so many other issues I dont have the time or patients to type them all up here today, But I have put way more money than the car is worth into repairing it, and double what I paid donnie for the car for repairs also...

I got so mad today because I got stuck in price chopper parking lot when I went to pull out at the light, I couldnt not get out onto rt.30 because of a tiny bit of slush. The tires are in almost perfect conditon, but when only one wheel spins you would be suprised at what kind of control you have when it hits ice or slush/snow or any kind of wetness for that matter. I dont want to even go into the other issues I had today with trying to move the car, but that is what prompted me to finally get on here and tell people to please watch what you do with this guy.

I cant say that this guy doesnt have any good cars today, I cant say whether he will or will not have good or bad cars in the future. Im just saying that I think this guy is very shady and is all about getting your money and getting you off his lot. Maybe others will have a better experience with him and his cars than what I have had. 

I was in a really tough situation to begin with when I bought the car and he knew what that situation was. So him not doing what he said he would do, and then falling off the face of the earth with my money is what makes it so much worse. The car has so many issues, Im talking serious issues, so this post Im typing today is actually really nice when it comes to what he did to me and the situation he has put me in from ripping me off. Again I cant go into everything, but all I can say is please watch what your doing when it comes to doing business with this guy.

If your gonna buy from him, please please do your research, dont take his word for nothing and know that if there is a warranty or problems arise that he said he would fix, dont trust that you'll ever see or hear from or talk to him again. Just remember what I and others have said and if your gonna buy from him just do your research on the car (car fax, DMV, etc... have a good trust worthy mechanic do a full and I mean full inspection of everything)  and then maybe you'll come out okay after making your purchase from him. Just dont do what I did, which is trust him and his word...
