Regency Beauty Institute sucks definitely a rip off Austin Texas

When Austin opened I met with the Campus Manager and she was awesome. She gave me a tour and answered all my questions. The first day of school was very welcoming except for the fact we got sent home because they didn't have it cleared with cosmetology board.

At first we thought the instructors were very good until our campus manager noticed that they weren't teaching us about sanitation and they didn't know how to grade our papers right and seemed to change the rules all the time. When we spoke to our campus manager she always took care of the issue quickly. She was well respected and dressed really nice and we all looked up to her. She was always quoting inspirational quotes and had us do this really cool thing at the end of the day where we all said something nice about someone else in the class and that made the day end on a positive note.
The instructors hated her and were always talking about her or rolling their eyes i think it's becuase she knew all the rules and they didn't.

One day their boss came in and said our campus manager had to quit because of her family was ill. She lied to us they fired her because the instructors made up lies about her and they were laughing about it and told our class they were glad she was gone and told us she was a b***h.
After that the school went down hill no one knew what to do. We didn't have enough teachers and the rules changed everyday.

We got a new campus manager laura and when we need to talk to her she will look through the glass window and turn her head away and not help us. She told us she has never even cut hair before. She told one of my classmates that if she didn't do what she was sopposed to do that she would make her life a living hell. She is disrespectful to us and harrasses some of us. The educators just laugh and follow her lead. She has even yelled at students

Sometimes we are left in the class room or out on the floor without supervision for hours. When some of the students tried to complain human resources wouldn't listen to them complaints were filed and nothing was done.
our admission advisor won't help us and they tell everyone to take it up Laura but she ends up sending you home if you have an issue with her.

We finally decided to file a complaint with the board maybe someone will listen to us. The educators pick favorites and treat others like crap.

The area leader even yelled at a student on the phone and said our classes were acting like babies and we needed to grow up.
They treat us like grade school kids and we are paying for our education we could have chosen schools that cost way less and would probably treat us better. I've wasted 8 months of my life and still don't know sanitation requirements and none of the educators tell you the same thing.

The big deal now is we have 3 educators and about 70 students and that is against cosmetology law we are left unattended most of the time.

I think thier biggest mistake was getting rid of our first campus manager leslie.
She had our best interest at heart and followed the rules. We miss her. I think if she was still there we would have a solid education. Now we are all worried if we will pass state board.

I can't wait to get out of this hell hole. We all hate coming to school and being disrespected and talked about by the faculty.
we aren't getting hardly any enrollments like we used to.
Gee I wonder why

So whoever reads this do not go to Regency Beauty Institute the price you pay is not worth being verbally abused or disrespected. The school is pretty but the stqaff is ugly
