Regina Awid Regina Awid Plahn Con Artist, Internet Bride, Scammer, All Lies Evans Internet

I’m reposting my story here to warn any potential victims.

I met Regina Awid online last September. She had a profile named redglicious and another one red690. She told me that she was from Philippines and she was living in Evans Colorado. She also claimed that she came to the States with her kid in 2014 to meet a guy and supposedly he turned abusive on her and her kid. She told me her kid was 4 and his name was clayton. She sent me a lot of pictures of her and her kid. She said that after her boyfriend started abusing her she had moved out of his house and was living with a friend named Jessy. I also have a picture of her and her friend Jessy if that's her real name. In general she was always very pleasant and extremely sexy. We talked on Skype almost every day sexkype a few times and had a lot of fun until I started seeing red flags like for example she would be online only in the mornings and never at night. She gave me a number that turned to be a voicemail service online. I noticed that because the area code didn’t belong to Colorado at all.

Last November she asked me if she could borrow $500 from me for a medical emergency that her mother had in the Philippines. She sent me a copy of her passport, a picture of her Mother and gave me all the wire details so I could wester union her the money directly to Philippines. I wasn’t sure if this was a con so I told her that instead of sending her the money I was going to get on a plane and come over to see her and her kid. At that time her story started changing. She said that she couldn’t meet me because she was living at a battered women’s shelter and the manager wouldn’t let her have visitors. I was more suspicious. She distanced herself a lot after I refused to give her the money but in January she contacted me again and told me that she had a real emergency with her kid and she needed $1000 urgently wired to her.  She gave me an address on Paintbrush St in Evans CO. I searched online and that address belongs to someone with the last name Plahn. I kept digging on her background and I used reverse lookup on google with some of the pictures she had sent me. I found a Facebook profile with the name Regina Awid Plahn. I saw recent wedding pictures of her and this Plahn person and also the same pictures of the kid that she had sent me. I confronted her and she immediately blocked me everywhere. For what I can gather based on what other victims are saying online she’s been deceiving people here in the U.S. for a long time. I don’t believe she is in the U.S. but she might have someone working with her. I have no idea what her real name is or if that’s really her kid or not but I know that I was almost ready to give her all my savings because she was very convincing.
