My husband was trying to download new maps for his game when he ran across a pop up add for a porn site. It would not go away until he clicked the accept button which in return sent him to that site. It never occurred to either one of us that we would receive a bill for visiting that website. Thank God that it was only for 3 minutes & we only got charged for those three minutes. But after reading all of the horror stories I am beginning to wonder what is in store for us later down the road even though everything is out of my computer. If any one run across a pop up ad that will not go away, don't click OK. Your best option is to CONTROL, ALT., DELETE & then END TASK on your ISP to get off the Internet. It is better to shut down the Internet than your computer to get out of this mess. Hopefully you can stop the download that companies put in your computer. Also, visit more of these complaints to get addresses & phone numbers of people to contact about this illegal (censored) & how to get rid of this Trojan out of your computer. This is illegal no matter how you look at it & needs to be stopped. If we all stick together we can put this company where it belongs, out of business & bankrupt. Thomas Villa Ridge, MissouriU.S.A.

I was using Yahoo at a friend's house on his computer. They somehow cut in on my line and changed it to their line. All without my knowledge or permission. I did not look at any of their sites nor was I even aware that I was on their line. They have refused to cancel this (censored)charge. They sent my friend an invoice using information they wrongfully secured from the telephone company as I never gave them a phone number credit card or name. I want a refund and that company prosecuted under CA law which is where I was at the time. Fred AjijicMexico Click here to read other Rip Off Reports on Alyon Technologies

Alyon Technologies Aka First Credit Of America ripoff, Claimed internet charges, not real, 2 years ago, harassing, Nationwide
My wife received a call looking for me. Stated to her that I had a large debt going into collections from an internet porn site. My wife asked a Ms. Williams to call me back when I was home. My wife confronted me and I did not know what she was talking about. Ms. Williams called, and offered me a settlement and assured me that if I did not settle the credit collections company would call daily. I asked her for the address, she would not give it to me, or a phone number. she did give me a web site that does not work. I asked for some written documentation of said charges, and she stated she would e-mail them. I never received an email. Also no additional calls. Amazing how this report sounds like the others... Alyon Technologies ripoff I was charged $83.13 for a internet site which I know I did not use Elizabeth New Jersey
I received a charge for 83.13 on 05/25/2003 for a Web Content. I called and told them that I did not use this service and I also sent them a letter. I received a phone call saying that this was made from my home phone. I explained to them that I am disabled and on a fixed income and the computer is right by my bed for my use only. I did not hear anything till last week I received a phone call and the man was very rude told me that it was turned in for collection, and I would pay it. Like I explained to him I have no reason to go on this site plus I should know if I did. I really feel that this was very unfair and I know if it happened to me others have been charged also. Alyon Technologies Aka Merchants Credit Guide harassing debt collection on bogus debts Chicago Illinois
This is just an update on this firm, which I understand in operating under several aka's....they have an excellent screen-prompt reply script, and are very belligerent when pushed off topic - the phone people must be under a tight clock and constant audio surveilance... background noise indicates that this is a large phone room....the name Ken Hughes is used as the teaser, but he is never available.... Their phone message states that they are not a sales call, but does not state any company name or reason for your call back. In all probablitlity they are buying ancient debt lists (the account they are trying to colect on from me has been closed and off the record for 7 years) and trying to collect on them. They insist that all formal communication be in writing, but will continue to inundate you with autodialer messages during that time. Any activity directed at you should be immediately reported to the FTC via their online complaint site. Only an huge public response via the web will get any action, if that will at all. Alyon Technologies (AKA) First Credit Of America ripoff fraudulent business activities illegal collection activities Secaucus New Jersey
It seems thousands of us have been harassed and victimized by these companies. Their mode of operation is to deceive then charge for services never purchased or agreed to by the victims. Fraud is deception in practice, and this is definately fraud. To be actionalble, fraud must be deliberate, and we must prove that harm was done. Also it helps to know the contents of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (On the FTC web-site. Document exactly how you were deceived, how the deception was deliberate, and what harm was done to you. Also keep records and document how First Credit of American and Merchants Credit Guide have violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Then submit as I have done your documentation to the Illinois Consumer Fraud Bureau, and the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs as well as the FBI and the FTC web sites. I also suggest that we all consider a class action lawsuit against these fraudulent companies. I would be willing to coordinate such an effort if we can all agree to pursue it. Bill P. Alyon Technologies ripoff- fraudulant billing! how come the state of New Jersey still allows this to go on! Seacaucus New Jersey
I have been constantly harassed and billed by Alyon Tech. for charges that no one in my home made to an Adult Website. I tried to call the # listed above but got either a recording or a very rude and beligerent person who said that I had to pay or it would go to collections. The original bill was for $85.00. Now it is in collections for $110.26. When I spoke with the collections agency, First Credit of America (1-866-505-8249) they refused to provide me with an account #, specific web address that I was being billed for, address or phone # for Alynon or any other info except the date of the charges. (Feb. 27, 2003) They said that I had no legal recourse in order to dispute the billing and that they would continue to call me once a day until I paid the bogus charges. I know this to be wrong as I have been involved in collections for many years. This company has to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Thank-You for your time and for being a helpline for those that are ripped off by unscrupulous companies. Stephanie Hickory, North CarolinaU.S.A.

While visiting various on-line sites, as I do daily, a pop-up box appeared for this adult website. When I tried to leave, it wouldn't let me. After a lot of time messing around trying to get rid of it, it finally disappeared. Now, they have sent me a bill for $151.59 for premium web content - adult stating I must pay in full within two weeks! This is an absolute outrage! I have found many disputes against this company, and welcome any assistance and/or experience anyone may have on how to bring this company down and how I can get out of this bill. I'm afraid they're going to ruin my credit rating! Please help! Renee Green Bay, WisconsinU.S.A.

The issue 1# that by clicking on results of search engine, the porn site pages came up which I then tried to delete without success. Subsequently numerous porn screens popped up that forced me to shut down my computer to be able to get my computer in order. Later, by examining my computer, I found some unknown startup files were installed in my computer which apparently will trigger the reconnection to some porn sites. The issue #2, a week later, I received the bill sent by Aylon Technologies stated that I owed $122.25 from their services. By examining the date/time of events, they sure related to the incidence described in the issue#1. This is totally out of line by 1) invading my privacy by installing files without my consent and using tactics of numerous pop up screens to paralyze my computer and 2) presented false statements with fabricated items to charge me for non-existing events. This company exercises dishonest and invasive business practices shall be penalized and revoked it business license for good. Oliver Daanville, CaliforniaU.S.A.

I was looking for celeberty pictures. A box poped up and said free pictures so I clicked on it. I said to click if I was over 18 I clicked yes then my computer discontected. I didn't find that strange because my server disconects alot and that day it was. The dail up box can up and I clicked on conection. I went to a porn site for live chat. I clicked the X and it woldn't let me leave the site. That is when I noticed a connection box at the bottom of my screen I tried to X it out but it wouldn't work either. So about after 5 mins of this I clicked ctrl alt and the del buttons all at the sametime to end the task. Everything disapeared and that is when I saw a Icon for Alyon. It downloaded onto my computer without me knowing it. It had my home phone number to that I don't know how they got all this information. I called my server who said they couldn't do anything about it I called my phone company plus my credit card company because I pay my phone bill by credit card every month. I called Alyon the day this happened but got a recording so I e-mailed them telling them what happened then they said I needed my account number I didn't have one because I didn't agree to go with this company so when I got a bill in the mail from Alyon for $49.50 for 10mins of service I never used. I tried calling the company again no real person to talk to I e-mailed them again and gave then the information they sent me on the bill. Plus I filled a writen dispute with the company telling them what happened and why I'm not paying the bill. I mailed this 3/25/03 and waiting to hear from them.I will fight this because this is so unfair and they need to be stoped I feel as though I was vilated in my own home and for them to find out so much without me giving it to them make me afraid to use the computer at all. Our internet server said there is no way to stop them or other from reading stuff off of our hard drive. I guess I was stupit and I didn't want to give my information to you either but I figure its out there anyway now so what the hell. I've had nitemares over this and I hope companys like this will be put out of bussiness soon. Rosemary crumpton, MarylandU.S.A.

We received a bill for $303.18 for what? We never buy anything via internet! They got our personal info from our phone line that is connected to our computer. We only use that line for internet access. All I can think of and wrote to Alyon is that possibly my 13 year old grandson who stays with us sometimes may have gone to a forbidden sight! These tactics would be like him (Grandson) going to a department store and charging items to our phone number! How can they do this? What can we do? I have sontacted tyhe Better Business Bureau and written letters to the company. Can we all get together and file a suit against Alyon? Tonya Bend, OregonU.S.A.

Being a business man, the last thing you want to see in the mail is a delinquency notice. We recieved just such a notice this past February from a company called Alyon Technologies. This notice indicated that if we did not pay up - Alyon Technologies would pursue this past due account. What past due account? Who the hell is Alyon Technologies? And why are they billing me for $171.15? After reading all the reports on this web site about this company, I am starting to understand what is going on. My problem is understanding how it happenend to me! What a bunch of underhanded capitalists. I will file a report with my AG in this State. Something must be done! Believe me, I am not opening my e-mails the same way now! Any ideas in regards to legal action? I am open. Help. Thanks for taking the time to read this. George E. Olympia, WashingtonU.S.A.

Aylon tech. has charged me for a service I never used or wanted. I have revieved many unsolisited sites in my e-mail and evidently by trying to click out I was signed up automatically. These filth sites need to be stopped. No matter haw many times I put them on block sender I continue to get them. They just change addresses and send again. What can be done to stop this? What am I in for if I do not pay this bill. I am angry and confused. What do I do? How can this happen? David Marion, OhioU.S.A.
