Bank of America auto lease bad business
I had a auto lease with Bank of America for three years it ended in November of 1999. It is now the middle of February and I am still waiting for my security deposit. They had told me it would take 6-8 weeks for me to recieve it. After numerous calls and being told to call all different numbers I am still waiting with out any help from them. I have even been told that they would call me back and they never have. Then when i call back there is a recording saying to call a different number, when i call that number there is another recording telling me to leave all info on viecle you are calling about and someone will get back to you. THEY NEVER DO.

Bank of America consumer ripoff
On 12/31/99, I discovered that my bank debit card had been used by someone unknown to me, without my knowledge or permission, to the tune of $1,152.03. According to my bank’s stated policy, they will reimburse me if my check card is lost, stolen, or used without my permission, if I report it promptly. I reported it as soon as I found out. They said they’d conduct an investigation and reimburse me, probably within a couple of business days. I received a reimbursement a day or so later. In March, they took the money away again. On 3/19, I called to find out why, and they said they hadn’t received the paperwork I was supposed to send. At my request they sent another form. When I called to get the mailing address, and they said I had already sent the form and didn’t need to send it again, and the investigation was still underway. In May, I still hadn’t heard anything. I tried to put the correspondence in email since they hadn’t been very helpful via telephone, but they refused to discuss the matter except over the phone. Today I called again. They said the investigator handling my claim wasn’t there, but would call me back. He didn’t. They also said they had sent me a letter in April, but hadn’t put my apartment number in the address, so the letter was returned. The lady said she couldn’t give me any other information. I called later, and THIS lady said no investigation was ever done, and she had no record of receiving the paperwork. She did, however, have a record of the other lady telling me they had received it. She also had a record of the mail being returned. She admitted they could have gotten the correct address from their customer service department but they didn’t. She offered no explanation why the lady from this morning wouldn’t give me this information, nor why I have been given conflicting information from the beginning. She said if I faxed the paperwork to them today, she would personally expedite the investigation and call me Friday with a status report. I called to see if they’d received the fax. The man put me on hold for a while, then said the claim had been denied on March 9, would probably not be reopened, and, since more than 120 days had elapsed, they would probably not give me my money back anyway. He didn’t have an answer for why nobody had ever said any of this until now. If, at any time, they had informed me of this 120 day limit, I would have been on the phone to them every week instead of waiting. Even so, the phone call where they said they had received my paperwork and I didn’t need to send it again, was well within 120 days. I have only banked with B of A for a short peroid of time. I get paid two weeks and I always go into to overdraft. The occasion before this one I went into overdraft for more than 200 dollars. When my pay check was deposited they had held one transaction for almost a week and then pushed all the smaller transactions up so that I owed them that much money. This caused me to not have enough for my rent, which was supposed to be automatically drafted on the 30th of the month. The bank then decides to draft the money for my rent out on the 6th instead of the 30th. Giving me a negative balance. I'm thinking my rent is paid, but no it's not. Although they mailed the check to my landlord they have since retracted and charged me 35.00. So I have to come up with the money for my rent and the 35.00 they charged me. My job requires you to have an account to deposit your money in and I am quickly looking for another bank. I have not seed anything like this before in my life. They do whatever they can to cause overdraft fees. This is just one of my many horrible experiences in a short time.

Bank Of America Faking Out America Wilmington Delaware
Simple to explain: I sent a payment Monday, they supposedly received and posted it Saturday due on Friday. According to BofA, you need to mail your payment 7-10 days in advance due to the USPS. Doesn't mail usually take 2 days. Not according to BofA. I called to dispute the late charge of $39 and was told that if I had a problem with the date they received it, I should contact the USPS. I was offered a half credit for mailing my payment on time. Then they took my 0% balance transfer interest rate up to 9.99%. But the kicker is they went back to October and decided to recalculate my interest rate and charge me an additional $12 in interest= $51 dollars total charges. Frank Orange, CaliforniaU.S.A.

I got ripped off by Bank of America!!! There is six $35 over drafted fees showing in my check account today,and i called them yesterday and asked about why is there so many over drafted fees and the guy told me because of some banking error and will refund all the fees for me and required me to call back the next day which is today,so i called again,and what they said today is totally different,they refused to refund the fees and the guy hang up on me twice! he couldn't explain the reason why i got charged for so many times,i had $250 deposited into my check account on Aug 21th and i transferred $160 into my saving and i got three over drafted fees that day for previous purchases by then my  checking account was -$35.59 but my saving had $160 in it,then there is two more purchases $28.17 and $27.28,since i have over draft protection service,if my checking have not enough funds,it will automatically transfer funds from my saving to cover the debts but i still got over draft charges for that,and they hold all the money in my saving account,that guy told me because i transfer the money on Aug 21st 5:45 AM which is after the cut off time so my saving had not enough money to cover the purchases i made on Aug 21st, WTF??  i thought the money was available on Aug 21st since i made the transfer in the morning of Aug21st,but that guy said it's after the cut off time which is 5PM,he didn't even know what hes saying @@ and his attitude was really bad! WE WILL NOT GIVE YOU ANY REFUND TODAY! and i said i totally understand and i just want you to explain all those fees and he hang up on me!

When watching tv commercials about bank of america they tell you about all the great thing they are doing to help their customers,well if you are disabled or on social securety or middle class just making ends meet you do not want to do your banking with Bank of America and frankely i do not think they want clients that are in this category. BOA takes advantage of these people for example most banks deduct your checks or purchases as they come in and will post them to your account in that order ,not BOA if you have purches of say $14.00,&7.00 ,$3.00 $1.00 and they have allready cleared and no longer pending leaving you a balance of $30.00 and then a day later something comes through for 100.00 now we would assume you are going to get one late fee at the most if you are unable to cover the fee that day. well i can tell you that will not be the case. what they will do is put the 100.00 amount through in front of the charges that are no longer pending ,your account will then show the $14.00,$7.00,$3.00and $1.00 in the negative,then they will hit you with 100.00 to 140.00 in fee's causing you to owe lots of money that you do not have and when you call and ask them why they did this to you they will tell you that it is a bank policy that their customers would rather they pay the higher amount first in case it is an important payment. well i do not know about you but merchants would not agree for they should all be important to a bank. I am saying enough is enough, for i have had this done to me to many times and i am closing my account and the 250.00 they show me owing because of the very thing i just described they will get it in payments of 10.00 a month for i have nothing but a social securety check every month to live on. if you have plenty money so you do not have to worry about ever having this done to you. i guess their as good as any bank but if your income is limited you need to find another bank. i personally think they do this to people with little money because they figure they can ,that we will not have the money to do anything about it and we will just suck it up. but luckely there are places like this one that we can at least warn other people about such unethical practices by businesses like BOA. Bank Of America Bank of America change of priority increase overdraft fees! Boston, MA Nationwide
I recently discovered that bank of america changed the posting priority for transactions and I have received well over $100 in overdraft charges despite never actually overdrafting my account. I have two great examples for you. First about 3 weeks ago, I had a checking account balance of $3.52. I went to the ATM and deposited a check for $350, the first $300 became available instantly per my account standing at BofA. I received a receipt for the transaction showing an available balance of $303.52. After depositing the check, I went back to work and before I left for the evening I logged into my BofA account to check my savings account balance which was $25. I checked the available balance which still showed $303.52 as available. So after work I drove to a local ice cream shoppe and got a sundae to go, total transaction purchase was $4.52 which I put on my debit card. I went home and thought nothing of it. The next morning I received an e-mail alert saying that my account had overdraft and I had received a $35 fee. I was shocked, that didn't make any sense I had a sizable available balance. I logged into my Bank of America account online and simply could not understand why I was charged a fee because my account was never negative. I called the 800 number and spoke with several reps including a manager who tried but could not justify the amount. Here's how they explained it to me: On the day in question I had a starting balance of $3.52. I went to the ATM and made my deposit. Later in the day I went and bought a sundae for $4.92. However despite them making the funds available to me, she noted that I should look at the ATM receipt. Which showed the date and time of the transaction 10/20/2008 at 13:42, which seemed fine, then she said that I should look below the top line, in smaller print it says posting to account xxxxx on 10/21/2008, then she informed me that it technically wasn't available until the next day. So when they calculated my account that evening they took my current balance, subtracted pending withdrawals first so even though some transactions were pending that reflected in the available balance the pending withdrawal posted first: So my account looked like this the next morning for accounting purposes (according to them and again I can't fathom this but its there rule): Beginning Balance $153.52 Pending Withdrawal: -4.92 Posted Withdrawal (item that was pending that posted overnight): -$150.00 Posted Deposit: $350.00 Ending Balance: $348.40 So because pending is now prioritized first my account was overdrawn by $1.40 based only on order of priority. It never actually showed negative because online it looks like this: Pending: -4.92 (available balance $348.40) Deposit: $350.00 (available balance $353.52) Posted:$150.00 (available balance $3.52) So online the balance never shows negative. It was simply a matter of how they did the accounting but I can't see it. Then I decided to transfer the balance of the savings account to the checking to cover most of the fee and not mess with my check register. So I transfered the $25 to checking leaving a savings account balance of $0. However there was a keep the change deposit that had shown in the saving account that day of 8 cents, that they reversed the next day for low balance because of the other posting issue. So despite allowing me to transfer the $25 from the saving account, my account reversed the 8 cent keep the change, and instead of having an account balance of 2 cents, I had an account balance of -8 cents, but it gets better because the day the account was negative 8 cents another keep the change transfer for $1.30 also posted, so my account never shows negative online, but for their accounting purposes it did, and I was charged a $35 overdraft fee for the savings account too! It gets better folks. I went into the local branch to straighten this out because it simply did not make sense to me, and the woman in the branch explained that she could not reverse the fees because I had 7 overdraft fees this year. I explained that the 7 fees were associated with an unauthorized transaction and they had been reversed after they reviewed the formal claim I filed. She explained that it didn't matter that because they had been reversed they counted against me and she couldn't reverse these fees as a result. Poor customer service from Bank of America.  I called to check on my balance and payment due. I was told there was no payment due.  The next month, I'm receiving a late fee for a balance that was approximately $30.  The late fee is equal to or greater than the balance. After calling and explaining, the customer service person does not try to work with me. After calling again, the second customer service person said that I should have been helped or could have been given credit for one late fee by the first person. I was given incorrect information and therefore incurred late fees that Bank of America does not want to credit back.  Beware..do not do business with Bank of America. They are many other options.

Bank Of America Short Sale Internet Nationwide
Bank of America Fails (Please like and forward along to spread the word)  I am not sure if many of you have had dealings w/ Bank of America and their short sale department but I am here to spread the word how horrible their business really is. I have had a signed contract on a house since February 22, 2013.  I am about to come up on missing my 3rd closing date second week of July and they have had absolutely no response or movement from their side to get anything done.  I have been thru 3 case managers, a lawyer that was on vacation for a month, missed 2 closing dates, and a bunch of paperwork that has gotten lost in the shuffle.   I have filed a claim with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and they still have no responses or clue as to what the status of the short sale is of the house that I am trying to purchase.  So the only thing I know to do now is spread the word about how bad the Short Sale Department Bank of America sucks!

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK!I have been trying for over 1 year to sort out my father's estate.  I keep getting the run around from the IRA, CD and Estates depts at B or A.  I provide them with every document they ask for to close my parent's accounts and I am still waiting for the money.  In fact, I requested that my father's trust account be closed and the funds split evenly between my brother and I as set forth in the text of his trust and the family trust.  All documents were sent to the bank multiple times.  David Marion, a so-called supervisor with B of A and a complete moron, had the check issued in the name of my father's trust.  Now I have a worthless cashier's check drawn on B of A that no bank including B of A will cash.    Effectively they have converted an account I couldn't access to into a worthless piece of toilet paper that I can not cash. I have had numerous branches and even a BMO Harris banker call them for a solution and they can't come up with a simple solution for me. I am supposed to try and re-open my father's trust (he is dead and I am not him) then I am supposed to have my brother come to Illinois from Pennsylvania to open a Family trust account at B of A so I can cash their check and distribute the funds then close the account. Apparently my brother is supposed to travel 1000 miles at his expense because they have to see him sign the documents in person.  How dysfunctional is that? According to my father's trust and the family trust the money should go directly to us but no one at the bank can read.  I am fed up.  No one should consider putting their money in this bank or doing any other sort of business with them.  The bank sucks and is full of rude, obnoxious, incompetent thieves.  My parents must be rolling in their graves knowing that the little bit of money they saved hasn't been given to their children.  No wonder B of A is paying exorbitant fines to the gov't.  Apparently the bank needs my family's money to satisfy the debt.

I had opened an account with Bank of America because I could not just cash a check written on the bank check.  So I opened one, instead of just savings, they hassled me into opening a checking account as well.  I have informed them that I did not want to open a checking but was told I had to.  I have had this account for four months and while I was in orientation in Houston, Texas, I received a call from the fraud department from Bank of America and was questioned as to when the last time I had accessed my online banking.  I told them from the hotel room the night before and first thing that morning.  The fraud department employee questioned me as if I did not know where I was and I told her that I was in Houston, Texas in a hospital orientation at the present time.  I was then told that my account was being closed because there were activities on the account that could not be explained.  I questioned what type of activities and they asked if I knew anyone in Florida and if I gave out my information such as password and login to my accounts.  I told them no and I did not know anyone in Florida.  Once again, they said they were closing my account since my account had been compromised and this was not the first time, it had been going on for some time from Florida.  They refused to allow me to pull the money left in the account with me so I would be able to eat and get the rental car back to Tyler. I was told no.  So I had to leave my orientation and new job and return to Tyler to investigate what was going on since they refused to give me any answers.    I was told I would have the remaining balance sent to me via check and now I receive a letter in the mail stating the payroll check that I deposited would not be cleared until that bank paid Bank of America and then they refused to overnight my remaining balance.  Now instead of waiting until the middle of next week to get my money from my now closed account, I have to wait two weeks now, because of the holiday  If this is how Bank of America treats their clients, I am surprised they are still in business.  You close my account because of something that you knew was occuring but did not bother to notify me until a month later and then close my account instead of allowing me to open another one and change my login.  You are just as crooked as the thief that was looking in my account. I used my debit card to reserve my hotel room and to rent the rental car to get me to Houston.  How is that going to be reimbursed back to me?

 I am an immigrant that doesnt have legal status but i got a bank account because i came into the US legally. I opened a bank of america account and tried to pay in a cheque in january of 2017 after paying cheques regularly in 2016, i did it on the mobile app which rejected it so i went ahead and did an atm deposit. 10 mins later my account was locked and atm cancelled. I called the vank and explained to them but i was accused if cheque counterfeiting. I was shocked and i was told my account has been closed and i was reported to chexsystems. The amount of 783.24 dollars actually cleared into my account and the bank with held the money and closed my account despite the issuer of the cheque not filling a complaint now for almost a month. I was asked to provide a notarized lettet plus paystub for that cheque which i have not been able to do. I have just the paystub but the bank insists on a notarized letter. So i have to wait for my cheque issuer to give me that. Why would the funds be withheld. I asked the bank to contact the cheque issuer, they declined. I also asked that the funds be returned to the originating account they simply hung up on me and i even had rude remarks thrown at me becuase it was obvious on the account i do not have a social security number.

hello I've been a customer of bank of america for about ten or more year. and I been trying to go to another bank but I cant because bank of america said that I'm in check systems. I am not when I try to go to a nother bank they said that I am in checksystems but when I go back to bank of america I can open a acc with them. I had just opened my checking account with bank of America about 3 months ago. Ever since it was opened I had been depositing my husband's pay check into it. The account was just in my name. We had been doing that every two weeks for the past three months. We deposited his check through the ATM on the 31st of March. Since we had been doing it forso long we went ahead and wrote out our rent check of $967 and sent out bills. Well I happened to check my account online and saw that they sent the deposit back. We got on the phone and started calling Bank of America. We were told that we would get his check with in a day or two. Which would be fine because it takes a few days for the rent check to clear anyway. We still have not recieved his check back yet and it is now April 8th. Needless to say our rent check bounced. So not only did we have an overdraft fee but we also have to pay a $85 late fee and a $50 returned check fee with our landlord. We told Bank of America this and thier response was oh well. We were told that we could expect his check sometime between the 7th and the 11th of April. We went as high as thier executive office and as soon as we got on the phone with that lady she was automatically rude. We were upset because we still don't have our money and they won't pay the fees for us having to pay our rent late and making the check bounce. I would have left it alone but they never told us that we couldn't deposit 3rd party checks and we even went to the tellers to do it. The lady at the executive office told us that it was on a letter that they send out yearly that they don't do it. I've only had the account for 3 months so I would have no way of knowing that. In closing I would just like to state that Bank of America has the worst customer service I have ever seen. I can't beleive how many overdraft fees I collect. I swear I watched my account online, and the money was jsut sitting there. Then, as soon as I used my card...boom, suddenly everything is overdrafting. I hate online banking. And Bank Of America is a monster for doing this to me. I'm a single mom. There is no way I can catch up, since I had no idea this was going on. When the papers started to pour in, my God, what a mess. Ok, so I got behind, but does that really mean they should charge you 33.00 for even 2.00 purchases? And forget trying to catch up. it's impossible. They let the paperwork pile up so every bounces. Someone should control these guys. They've eaten two of my checks on over-drafts. It happens fairly quick too. I'm closing my account tomorrow morning. I hate banking. I've never had money problems till now. I'm going back to my old policy. If you don't have the money in your hand, don't order it. This whole thing is a nightmare. Thanks to this incredibly greedy bank, I can't feed my kids. Not to mention, that they can't find paper work on a thousand dollar transaction I made. How convinient. I was in such a hurry to fly to Rome I didn't realize that I had not checked if the Travlers Checks were actually in the envelope. Isn't it kind of a policy that they are suppose to make you sign them before you go? I asked the cashier that day, and she said, Um, no. So stupid me, I left, probably with a blank envelope. I get to Rome and realize I have no money. When I get home, I checked the envelope I left in my car. The envelope was there but no checks. So I think, ok, stolen, report. When I get back this is the story I get from these people. I mean, do I really have to keep every damn reciept? I was in a rush, who thinks of those things? They are ... We're sorry mam' we looked everywhere. There is no paper work on anything like you are telling us. We can't help you without the original reciept. So I got lucky, two months later I'm cleaning under my car seat, and I find it. I found the original reciept. Let's see if they can't find the paperwork now! It's stupid of me, but I trusted them. That's the first and last time I bank. These people don't care about you or me. But now I know. They force you to need them. Then they eat you up. The whole system is a scam. I came to this site to see if Bank of America did to others what its doing to me, and WOW was I surprised to see how many reports were put in on them. My story about them is this, and please feel free to contact me if you wish. I stopped using my Bank of America account and opened another account at a different bank, this was in the end of Jan. I had a couple of auto payments from my ins. ect. that I used this for til I changed their accounts to my new bank , so these payments are the only ones I deposited for. In the last month and half, someone online gained my account info. and has made tons of charges all from the same company, I contacted the bank after I saw 2 charges,and was told to wait for them to send me a form to dispute them, in that time there were more charges, I called again and told my story to the rep that answered she stated she would transfer me to special service and that they can remove those fees and then close account. She transfered me and then I was told by special service rep. that I must have given this information at some time and I was responsible for the overdraft fees and he would not close account. I find this ridiculous as these people are still charging items, he stated he would not remove them and I had to pay, I told him I will take this up w/ a lawyer I am not paying, this was 2 weeks ago and my account is now over $600 is overdrafts as they keep charging and wont close my account to stop this. He did offere to put a stop payment on it, however if they make charge for a different amount it would not be stopped and I incure more charges. I wanted my account closed to stop this and they willnot do, they have sent me threatening letters stating if I dont pay they will report me to some company so I will never be able to get another bank account. I work in customer service for a large company and have never heard of such crap!!!! I should not be responsible for charges I have not made. I should be able to close my account so this doesnt keep happening. I would NEVER suggest anyone use their services. This company is so scummy it sickening! Joelle Tampa, FloridaU.S.A.

Bank Of America ripoff overdraft Flower Mound Texas
Ever since I moved out of the states, which means that I cannot physically go into one of the Bank of America locations to argue about charges, Bank of America online has CONTINUOSLY posted transactions, then removed them and waited until enough funds were not available in the bank to re-post and always post the highest dollar amounts first (not in the order received) in order to CONTINUOSLY collect NSF fees. I check this account at least once a week and always before I use my check card and have on numerous times shown a balance of over 400USD and the next day show a balance of -amount with charges that were more than 2-3 weeks old that they had originally posted and later removed... and then reposted. I am in the process of closing this account as this practice has become outrageous and obviously this NEVER happened while I was in the states. I guess they figured that I could actually walk into their office and get this straightened out vs. having to call customer service who is rarely helpful. Nancy Flower Mound, TexasU.S.A.

Bank Of America ripoff Dallas Internet
Back in 1996 when BOA merged with Nations Bank. Nations was hit with a class action lawsuit for ripping off consumers by making sure checks for larger amounts to someone's account were deposited first instead of in random order or by whatever check came in that day. Thus making the smaller checks that would have cleared bounce and creating more revenue for them. The end result for Nations and BOA was they had to repay any consumer that was hit with an NSF free. The excuse I got was because they assumed the larger amount would be car or mortgage payments. Now, if everything is automated, how can they determine what's what without pulling the check and looking at it? Bank of America's at it again with this game they're playing with people's hard earned money. Imagine 5 check or debits go NSF at $33.00 a piece at the same time? That's $150.00, not to mention, the larger amount that's going to go NSF later because of the 5 $33.00 NSF. It's darn same that they know it's illegal but are still doing it anyway. Bank Of America ripoff Los Angeles California
After reading several poster complain about Bank of America, I have to say that I'm surprised. I had no clue that so many shared my sentiments. After being told that I would receive a fee reversal from one B of A phone rep (who told me to call back the following day since the NSF fee hadn't yet been posted), I had another one tell me the next business day that she wouldn't be able to reverse that fee! YES it was a bank error. YES I spoke to TWO supervisors about the situation. But they stone walled, and I ended the conversations, but not before I seriously thought about which banking institution I wanted to give my business. This decision isn't about a simple NSF fee. It's about the way B of A's service and respect to its customers have slowly deteriorated over the years. B of A has grown, but in the process the service it has provided just isn't meeting the needs of its customers. This was just the straw that broke the camel's back. If more of us banded together and sent our accounts elsewhere, B of A would have no choice but to listen to the complaints of its customers. YES I know it's a pain in the back side to open new accounts at other banks, but sometimes you just have to make a stand. Well, I've talked long enough. Thanks for listening and best of luck. I have come to the conculsion that Bank of America is in the business of ripping off people. If they are not charging outrageous bank fee, because of their own error, they are charging you for a service that you never requested (copy of statement). Who in there right mind would request a copy of a curent statement when you can just go on line and print a copy? Bank Of America ripoff The Colony Texas
I have been banking with these guy's for 26 years. I thought they gave a damn about customers. All they give a damn about is how much they can rip you off for. I wrote 4 checks the largest one was for $150.00 to the local County Tax Attorney. The other 3 checks didn't add up to $150.00. what they did was the local County Tax Attorney held his check for about two weeks or so. listened to the bank of america computer via the telephone and I could have swore that it told me the check for $150 has cleared my bank. Finally the local County Tax Attorney sent his check to the bank and it hits on the same day that my other three checks which didn't add up to $150.00 which by the way was my balance. What they did was they paid the one for $150.00 and bounced my other 3 checks and hit me for $90.00 in overdraft fee's. I called customer service and asked if they could maybe return $60.00 of the $90.00 they had taken out since I thought maybe I had heard wrong when I was listening to the machine. I wear hearing aids in boths ears so sometimes I don't hear everything the way it should be, anyway getting back to my story I asked them if they could refund the $60.00 I explained to them that I was down on my luck and that I had recently been layoff at my job which i'm now in my 6th month of it sucks I know but hey I was in telecom and it just went bust. I went through 4 levels of customer service people none of them gave a damn they said they weren't refunding anything. I pleaded and plead to no avail. I explained to Manager of customer service a Mr. Joel Campos in Rio Rancho NM, and his manager that these $60.00 they are holding back would mean that we wouldn't be able to afford to buy groceries this week and that would really suck. Once again they said to bad so sad. Anyway I got the name of the president of Bank of America and wrote an email and I sent it to BOA's customer service department since I don't have the email for the president. They kept saying we refunded some in the past but we can't do it again. It's no shit I have been layoff for 6 months guy's i'm really strugging here. I'm also a programmer on my spare time and They have this programe that knows all this shit and it doesn't give a damn about the customer or if you have children to feed. Bank of America Totally Robbed!!! Phoenix Florida
I open an account with Bank Of America and in less than a month my account was robbed literally charges on my account that i never did so i get an email from them stating my acct is low when i had over a $2000.00 so i called to find out whats going on. Then they said there was a charge for $1300.00 from a cellular place so i said no no no my phone company name is Tmobile and so their after the account was blocked and a dispute of charges was  filed. Then after two days i get a letter stating my dispute was denied and i will not get my money back. So i  called then i was asked did i get a police report i said no do i need one; Aparently i do. So i went to get one called them back i get the cold shoulder saying the fraud department is handling it and you will get a letter in the mail.  In another 3 days i get a letter saying i will not get my money back from my dispute.  Bank Of America is a ripoff i have all the proof they need that i did not make those charges and they will not give me my money.W hile im at the store you block my card while buying pampers but a charge for an anonymus cellular company for $1300.00. You are suppose to trust them as your Bank but they cant trust you as their Customer!!!!

Bank of America phony late charges
My mortgage is thru B of A. I used to mail my payment by the 3rd of the month, but noticed that it was never posted to my account until about the 17th of the month. I work downtown Chicago, and Bank of America is right across the street. I thought why mail it and risk getting late charges when I could just as easily cross the street and pay it at their facility. Well, last month, I paid it on the 9th at the bank, and about the 23rd of the month I got a letter from them saying they never received the payment, and tacked on late charges. Luckily, when you pay at the bank, they issue you a receipt. I called the customer service number and reported that I made my payment at the bank itself, and that I had a receipt to prove it. She told me that she would remove the late charges, and not mark my account late, but in the future it would be wiser to just mail my payment, as it takes the payment processing facility three weeks to get the payment from the bank, as they are 'on different systems'. How stupid. I will continue to pay it at the bank and fight a late charge, as I realized if the payment processing facility loses it I have no proof that I even sent it. At least, paying at the bank, I can prove that it was paid on time.
