Cupid PLC Adult personals website, Internet
I joined cupid plc as a free member.  I got flirted with by 5 or 6 girls.  So this made me want to join as a paid member.  Once I joined I checked all my emails.  They sound weird and not original.  I emailed all the girls back and no response at all.  And 4 or the girls had emailed me two days in a row.  I really feel all the girls where phony profiles.  I am a great catch good looking  and I didn't get replied to by not even of the girls that had tried so hard to contact me for 2 or 3 days in a row until I became a paid member.  This site really should not be allowed to take Americans money or anyone's money.  I can't believe it is still allowed to run.  I was skeptical at first because my card wouldn't go throw.  I called their customer service and it was based in Bermuda.  So my phone wouldn't call it.  So I found an 877 number.  I could hear their accents right away they were from a country outside of the US.  My bank blocked the transaction since it was an international transaction so I had to pay them via paypal.  So I knew then they for sure were not an American based company.  When I tried to cancel my subscription later they don't offer their customer service number anymore.  I tried to search the entire website and could not find any phone number to call them like before I was a member.  Instead they only offered a page that was going to send them an e-mail and they would get back to me it said.

Adult Friendfinder Gentlemen, looking for action? Forget Adult Friendfinder Palo Alto, California Internet
I tried Adult Friendfinder three different times. Every negative comment other people have posted here is TRUE. I sent about 1000 emails to women over the course of my three membership terms. 90% never replied. 90% of those who did reply declined me. Of those who expressed interest 90% never got beyond email. I physically met only three women. Two were unsightly and insane. A third chickened out after our first date. No action from her. I figured my two drawback was that I was short and didn't have any money! Maybe that's why my luck was so bad. Not so. Men of all types report pretty much the same thing. I am an attractive guy, a gentleman, and was always courteous. I made it plain I was there for sex. I was not interested in an economic relationship. Men outnumber women by at least 10 to 1. Of the female profiles not outright phony, and discounting the bona-fide hookers, I found most women were practicing virtual prostitution. They want material favors in exchange for sex. Many want a man to buy them a new car and give her his credit card. Gentlemen, even if AFF were not a quasi-criminal enterprise, the sheer ratio of men to women makes AFF at the very least hypercompetitive. If you cannot walk into a bar and pick up a hot chickie for sex within an evening, you won't be able to do much on AFF either. However, I and others have posted the deceptive practices of AFF. I can attest to all, except for a few of the legal accusations against the owner. GENTLEMEN: DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO ADULT FRIENDFINDER. SAVE TIME, SAVE MONEY! Max So. Deerfield, MassachusettsU.S.A.

Erotic monkey will not allow me to edit or remove my profile. They are also not legitimate and reputable. They copy reviews from other sites like theeroticreview. They write fake reviews as well, good or bad, to create content. They allow anyone to post anything, including clients that write fake reviews in revenge for you not providing a service they wanted or not putting up with their bad behavior. They post services you dont provide. Escorts can review themselves. Do not trust this site. Theeroticreview is more reputable.

Streamate.com Horrible site with horrible customer service Internet
The people who work and manage the website www.Streamate.com appear to be very rude, disrecpful, and seem to have a bad attiude. When I signed up for an account it stated I needed to put in a credit card number. Which wasn't what I was told when hearing this mans voice on a spam pop ad when being on other websites. When I put in the info that they asked for I got a call from my bank about suspcious purchases withdrawn on my account. I then contacted the customer support line and a guy who had an attitude and didn't know English very well told me that they took some money out of my account when registering. Which also wasn't listed when signing up. Was then informed that I was comitting fraud when they were the ones stealing money from me without my conscent or bothering to tell me until I called.  Talk about a double standard?!?!? Possibly one of the most disrespectful and unprofessional businesses I've communicated with.

Adult Friend Finder ripoff fraudulent billing Palo Alto California
I joined this site a couple of years ago, and actually had a decent experience on it, but the problems I encountered overshadowed everything else, and I chose to end my membership. Just last month, I thought I might give it a second try to see if customer service had improved. I wasn't terribly surprised to see that things, in fact, had not improved at all. I was smart enough to turn off automatic billing, so I thought I was in the clear. I recently received an email saying that my membership was about to expire, and that I should make sure I turn on the auto-renew options. But just below that, it listed that I had the auto-renew options turned on. When I logged on to the site to terminate my membership, it sent me to datematch.com. Initially, I thought I had a problem with my browser, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I've managed to make it to the AFF site, but none of the links work, including (most conveniently) the contact us link. This was true for both the AFF website, and the datematch.com website. I have contacted my credit card company, which is about all I can do for now. Just be advised that this is a complete scam, and you'd be doing yourself a HUGE favor to stay well clear of any of the friend-finder sites... David Kingsville, TexasU.S.A.

Adult FriendFinder No Real Adults or Friends To Find! Palo Alto, California
Just wanted to share my experience with AFF. In my opinion for this site to possibly work you need to: 1. Not be a Single Male. 2. Join with a Gold Membership. 3. Be able to offer a world of goods. 4. Be ready to invest several months of time. I do not think that Single Men are in big demand for relationships on AFF and probably make up the majority of the members. One girl (and the only) who contacted me had 542 guys listed as her friends. 542 guys! How can you possibly maintain any type of relationship with 542 people? I was curious so I became #543 just to see what would happen. Not much. She winked at me a few times, sent, by code, her Yahoo IM, and we exchanged one volley each on IM. I contacted several girls all of whom were said to be active (I did see some Online Now) and within a few miles of my area. None replied back. One girl wrote that she was new to New York and was looking for a tour guide. I work in that field and am studying to obtain my own license. I wrote to her and explained as such but she never wrote back. You can meet all the parameters, wants, likes, needs, etc., and write them a letter explaining all that you have in common but you will not receive any reply. It's really not any different from most other regular online dating sites. When I joined the first thing I did was to turn OFF the automatic renewal system and I took a picture of the screen to prove it was indeed OFF. It wasn't too difficult to find the section to do so but I think Automatic renewal needs to be OFF always and turned ON if you want and not the other way around. I found the elite Gold membership a little annoying. Just make it one price for everything. Those who went Gold seem to be seen as more serious in their search as if you are not serious by just being a Silver member. You get more goodies by being a Gold member. Just a ploy to up-sell. The one thing I really didn't like is after going through the entire sign up process filling out your profile, searching through endless ads, finally finding a person who was on recently, when you start to write an email you are told it can not contain any personal information until after two exchanges each. What? Isn't that the purpose of joining the site? We are told this process is to protect against people who might try to spam. Yeah, okay. If you are a Couple, a Group, or Female you will have an easier time finding Couples, Groups, and Females. As for Single Guys, such as the 542 who were all friends of ONE girl, you might just be spinning your wheels. Name Withheld By Request Brooklyn, New YorkU.S.A.

Adult Friend Finder - alt.com Many fake members, and credit card fraud beyond membership fees Internet
I signed up for AFF (Adult Friend Finder) approximately 3 months ago. I signed up for a 3 month membership.  Upon first gaining access to the site, which took some time to process my membership, although taking my fee/money for access was much quicker, i quickly realized about 90% of the profiles are of fake people.  This didnt bother me as much as after a while, you can identify the fakes a mile away. (ie poor grammer, duplicate photos, countries of origin, cities and states of origin not matching, poor attempts at fraudulant profiles) I was able to make a few good connections, one in particular that I wont ever forget, but during the duration of the membership, i decided it wasnt worth my money and cancelled the automatic renewal.  also concurrently I was having random companies (fronts) authorize money from my bank account via my debit card number (confirmed by Bank of America)  but once I called the number to the fake business associated with the authorizations there would be a recording apologizing and said my money would be returned withing 3 business days.  which they did return the money.  Once my attempt, and I call it an attempt, as I will explain later, to cancel the automatic renewal process happened, fraudulant purchases started to post to my account, and I mean immediately.  I noticed it and luckily called BOA right away and they froze my account as they did so..not 1, 2, 3, 4...but 5 more attempts were blocked in under an hour.  As of right now only one charge went through to some fragarence.net company for ~165.oo which i am disputing and BOA will fix.  That really upset me but I cancelled the card and fixed that problem, but in all those fraudulant charges, i noticed one that stood out.  AFF tried to authorize my card for an extension of some type for another membership, for an unknown duration.  If i recall correctly when I first signed up it was ~45 dollars for 3 months, but this new attempted charge was in the amount of 185.  Although once I logged into my still active(for 3 more days) account, i was immediately transfered to a screen that stated, i needed to update my payment information because the information was outdated.  So unless they tried to charge me, which they shouldnt have, they wouldnt have known i froze the account.  In addition to that, once they realized they were cut off from my funds, alot of my membership privileges were cut off and limited back down to nearly a standard member, almost as if to punish me for a service i purchased yet, since they couldnt rob me anymore, they took away and violated our original agreement. (which was paid for in full)  I do not detest the purpose of the site, i think its a great adult site for busy adults, I think there is some success if you are willing to dig through the fraudulant profiles, and I had some of the best sex of my life due to this site, although, do so at your own risk, if you are to sign up...here is how I would do it to fix this problem.  I would sign up for no more than 3 months...pay them the dues...immediately cancel the card you used, open a new card with a different number. and enjoy your account and if it asks you to update your billing information, ignore it and DO NOT DO IT!  I hope this helps the reader (you) as it was as honest and forthcoming as I could explain.  Any lawyers interested in a class action suit, by all means contact me at your leisure.  I have copies of all billings and fraudulant purchases/attempts.

Adult Freindfinder Network CREDIT CARD RIPOFF Sherman Oaks California, Internet
In going to purchase a 30 day membership on one of the AFF sites, the company will often charge you for a one year membership when you only authorize a 30 day membership. When you contact the company they will tell you that they are not allowed to credit back bogus charges, and that they will send you a check in the mail. Needless to say, no check is ever sent, and you are left trying to get justice through your bank! This is intentional fraud, and a violation of Mastercard/Visa Regulations and the Fair Credit Practices Act. Roger Sherman Oaks, CaliforniaU.S.A.

Adult Match Maker ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing and multiply fraudulent, damaging profiles Internet
We are in Queensland Australia and unfortunately we read your site too late. After joining AFF,we joined Adult Match Maker, now we have found that we are being still billed for both sites after closing them down, the sites have not been closed, and we do not get any replies to our requests to stop the billing and close our profiles, they have changed our passwords,so we cant get into them and some of them have been put on invisible. We have had an old site revamped that was shut down 12months ago, when we got into it we closed it, it is now back there and upgraded to a platium membership and put on invisable also, and we cant access it. A few days ago we recieved an email to my partners business address, saying he had emails to collect from a profile called lowasugo, although there was no photo it was without any doubt a profile of him, being pertrade as a gay man and very nasty and damaging wording on his profile,he cant get into this profile as he doesnt have a password and did not create it. Many ,many emails to these people and still no responce on any of them,so far in total,we have 9 different profiles on us, 3 only ordered by us,then shut down after a few weeks, due to the fake rubbish we found on them. We are now 4 months down the track and still have been getting charged and still cant get them shut down. The nastier we get with them ,the more fake profiles they put up,and charge us. We thought it was a good idea to let you know what is happening in Aussie land,as we found your site here and hopefully if you add in amm then it may save some others from our fate. I totally agree with others on your site as to the fake women used to drag men and there money in,Iv seen it and some friends of ours and ourselves have caught a few of them out. Thankyou for your efforts in exposing these thieves Tomorrow we are cancelling the business credit card and speaking with a lawyer. Yours sincerely J and M Mimi Bribie IslandAustralia
