AMERICAN CREDIT SOLUTIONS RIPOFF TAMPA FLORIDA
I just called last week in regards to an approved credit card from American Credit Solutions about a week ago.I called and spoke to the representative and she told me the same scenario as the other victims in this ad. Before having read these ripoffs, I called the same phone# back which initially started this scam to cancel everything because I knew I wasnt going to have the $199.99 by the date it would be deducted. The representative had told me that if the money wasnt in there by the specified date that my bank account would be charged a $25.95 fee. I didnt want that to happen; that's like throwing 26.00 out the window. When I called back the 800# that was called in the first place, another representative told me that she couldnt cancel it, that it wasnt their department that I would have to call a customer service # which is conveniently only open M-F 9-5 and this was Saturday. Needless to say, I became very angry, I told her that I called there and was talked into setting this up and there is where I wanted to cancel at. They then said that my information was not there; that it had been sent to this customer serv.# and that they couldnt cancel because it had been sent to the other facility for security (hAAAA) purposes. I was absolutely livid at this point, and after MUCH arguement, the representative then asked Why did I want to cancel? I told them, even before I knew, that this is a scam and I wanted out!! They then started going thru the entire thing again of how it was beneficial and still angry I finished most of the representatives statements before they could spit them out. They then commented that I wasnt listening to them, so for about 5 minutes I let them talk freely. I then said, Could you do me a favor?? (very politely, eventhough I was boiling) They said yes. I said Do you have a dictionary handy?? They said no. Without skipping a beat I said Thats a shame because you need to look up the word NO in the dictionary because apparently you dont know what it means. I then said I would call that customer service # Monday and would get this cancelled and hung up on this person after they were in fact smart back to me after I made MY little comment. Please do NOT sign up for this, even if youre desperate because these people are desperate to rip you off no matter what!!!Someone needs to please shut them down!!!!!!God bless everyone who already wrote in and informed me, wish ME luck on Monday!!!! American Credit Solutions formerly E-Credit Solutions Consumer fraud ripoff Tampa Florida
E-Credit Solutions is back as American Credit Solutions 1-800-470-0907. I blocked my check from ECS E-Credit Solutions after called them up. No dial tone from ECS. I check my bank account on 5/8/02 and see a charge of 199.95 from ACS (American Credit Solutions. Kim was called at ACS at 7:08 AM PST. She would not tell me the name of the company other than It's ACS. I had my bank fax a refusal to ACH (Automated Clearing House). I just called ACS at 11:45 AM PST. They gave me the address for their corporate office. Now I am going to the FTC complaint section and the Florida Consumer Protection. My little adventure now connects ACS with ECS and their little illegal transfer of my account. Credit fraud, check fraud, and who knows what else. Good luck to all of you. Ken Kennewick, Washington

American Credit Solutions ripoff & misleading credit card information Tampa Florida
I received a notice n the mail stating that I could receive a credit card with a $4,000. limit. Being a naive college student I called and gave them my confirmation number. Later I would be informed that after enrolling in their program (which cost $199.99)I would not be receiving a VISA card until I had mad x amount of purchases and so many on time payments. After I called to complain and asked for a refund, I was informed that it would not be awarded to me because they deemed my purchase valid. Anyway, they are a rip-off and should be shut down. anthony ann arbor, Michigan

American Credit Solutions ripoff credit card Tampa Florida
They tried to ripp me off, too. Their representative (I think Jason was his name) went really quickly over the fee issue, probably hoping that I won't notice the 200, and insisted on the benefits which included some coupons. That raised my suspicion and I asked him to go back to the fee and explain it. Then I asked him for his company's phone number - he would not give it to me. I asked for a website, he said they don't have one. It was becoming more and more clear that this was not a normal business. He told me I would get a 2500 dollar credit card, with no interest. I asked him, are you sure? Because it sounds too good to be true. Let's pause for a minute. If I pay them 200 and they pay me 2500 that I never have to pay back and there is no interest on it (he confirmed this was the case) what would be the deal for them? I asked him to put the promises in writing. He said they only do business over the phone, because they can explain things better (dupe people easier, I would say.) I asked him again to put it in writing, as I want records of his promises. He said there was no need for that, and refused, adding his company works only over the phone. These people could say anything over the phone, and how can I prove it was otherwise? I don't expect them to go over their phone records and say sorry, we misrepresented this. Their employees are probably paid a very high commission (which is probably coupled with a low hourly rate) making them very pushy salesmen with a high incentive to sign up customers regardless how At some point, they guy asked for my bank's name and if I had a checking account number. By that time, I had become very suspicious and I refused to give him any more information, as I continued to ask him to put things in print and send it to me by mail. He hung up. A few days later, I got this yellow post card saying that my card is ready but has not been activated. Thanks to this website, I was able to actually find out who these people are. American Credit Solutions ripoff & a deceptive company Tampa Florida
I was told I'd receive a $4,000 credit card in 30 days after a $199.95 was removed from my checking account on 5-17-02. I have yet to receive a credit card. When I call the phone number on the non-usable platinum card with no MC/VISA logo on it, it gives a customer service number of 800-470-0907 which has been disconnected. The original number confirms I have a credit line of $4,000 though! Would love to get back my $199.95 ~ Tricia 06416, ConnecticutU.S.A.

American Credit Solutions ripoff How to get your money Back Tampa FloridaTampa Florida
How to get your money Back This part was accidentally cutoff the previous report sorry Overview #1 The US congressman in the Tampa Area is Jim Davis (he already has many complaints about American Credit Solutions) #2 Call your local congressman, (He or she is in the phone book they do not ask for any type of information.) Let them know what is going on and ask if its possible to get the phone number of the United States Congressman in the Tampa area, preferably a 1-800 number. #3 read on before doing this step. Call American Credit solutions, The phone people at American Credit Solutions Don't want to give your money back Are not working for a customer service company Are trained to not give your money back and to not be a customer service Postpone and delay any and all attempts by you to get your money back. Are trying to upset you so they have a reason to hang up on you. Things to know Jim Davis- US congressman Tampa Fl The supervisor at American Credit Solutions knows how you can get your money back immediately. You will be getting a lot of excuses just follow the outline below. If you need something to say you say,you know how this works and I want my money back. And you misrepresented the product and I want my money back. If you need to hang up and call again to speak with another representative. The 1st and only I want my money back Call 1. Dial their 1-800 number. The phone person will tell you that there are no representatives available; YOU ask for a supervisor they will tell you there are no supervisors available. 2. Let them know that you know that there is a supervisor there and you need to speak with him or her. They will tell you no one is available or they are not in again and again, you say I will wait on the line, they will say [sir] or [mam] there is no supervisor available and that they are only an answering service 3. You then explain to them that the American Credit Solutions representative misrepresented the product (the 1st credit card) and you need to speak to a supervisor about reporting fraud, as this is the 22nd time you have called you must speak with a supervisor. 4. At this time the person who is only an answering service will then, somehow, become a representative that can help you. They will ask you for your social security number. a. You now tell them you do not feel comfortable giving any information to an answering service and you need to speak with a supervisor. (You will end up giving this person your phone number not your S.S number to look up your account) again note: DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, Tell them look up my account using my phone number, I do not feel comfortable giving you my social security number because you misrepresented your product to me and I believe that is fraud. Mention that you have been in contact with their congressmen Jim Davis and he has already heard about American Credit Solutions. 5. Do not give out any information until the answering-service/representative gives you the name of the supervisor you will be speaking with.

American Credit Solutions ripoff dishonest ripoffs Tampa Florida
I received a card indicating I had approved Credit limit. I contacted the number and inquired as to the company, and what bank they represented. I was asked for my Social Security Number and Bank Account information. Immediately I questioned why they wanted that information. I was asked again for a SSN. I declined. I then asked for a supervisor and was told they do not take calls. Finally after speaking to a floor manager, I asked how they received my name. After recently moving with my job for the US Army, I know they were sold my address. I asked where they received my name. I was told it was through a bad credit report from somewhere. Knowing I have no bad credit anywhere, and not having recently been turned down. I told the company I wanted to speak to their security department. They had none. I was informed to get the card they would charge me 199.95 on my checking account. That was the last flag that went up, they wanted to charge me for their card. I am sending an official complaint to the company with a copy sent to the better business bureau, to include a few news services. I recommend everyone does that and put these people out of business. I will post any response I get from the company. I just doubt I get one. This information will also be sent out to all Criminal Investigative Units in the US Army for dissemination to all Service Members before they get scammed. Drew Fort Monmouth, New Jersey

American Credit Solutions promised a Platinum Visa or Mastercard with a credit limit of $4000,0% apr. I was only to be billed $199.Instead I was given a platinum card to shop from the American Credit Solutions Catalog. It was neither Visa nor Mastercard. So, since I wasn't satisfied, and i had 30 days to return it, I called to cancel. No one answered. I looked at the return policy, and it said that the Company only gives refunds if it sees fit to give refunds. I can't even return it with a confirmation number. I would like my money back. I'm not sure this made it into the reports, I can't find it, anyway, I fell for it, but an hour later I called back to cancel and was told I had to wait until today (10/22/02). I did so and was told by Dekesha and Terry (supposedly a supervisor) that nothing could be done until October 30. I contacted my bank and put a stop on anything coming from this company either from Florida or California (I found two addresses for them). Then I contacted the Texas State Attorney General and was told that if my bank had this information a call is not necessary on October 30. I then wrote a letter to the ACS address with copies to a US Senator, a US Judge, a US Congressman, the AG's of Florida and California, the US Attorney in Florida, the FCC the FBI, and the US Postal Service (mail fraud division). Hopefully, this will keep these jackals at bay because it is too much trouble to deal with me and all these other government people too. I haven't lost any $ yet and with luck, they won't get any.
