EDP CARD - HEDP CARD - HOMELAND CARD - EDPREPORTING Swindled out of $159.95 ripoff Internet
On July 9 I was filling out online apps for payday loans--yes i know not a good thing but the rent was late and needed to be paid--and either I goofed and filled out an application for the Homeland Card thinking it was for a payday loan, or, and this is most likely, the application for the loan was also piggy backed on the Homeland card, thus applying for one you apply for both. When I found out on the 13th from monitoring my checking account. I called the number they had on the check, finally got thru to their so called customer service, they looked up my account and said they were deactvating it and were sending be fraud forms. That was fine, but when I asked for my money back it would be determined by the fraud report. When I replied regardless, I want my money back--I was told that if it was not fraud but a mistake on my part, I was out of luck because I had a three day time frame to quit. I will be calling my bank and disputing this charge and requesting my money back. William Sherman Oaks, CaliforniaU.S.A.

I never heard of this company and because of their fraudulent practices, my checking account is now overdrawn. The authorities really need to do something other than say there is nothing they can do to return your money. We, the consumers always have to suffer at the hands of these thieves and nothing gets done. They do not get punished and continue to bilk hard working people out of their money. Pamela M. Jamaica, New YorkU.S.A. According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: we could not do anything for you or you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days. If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges. Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off Report.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent! DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER! Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. Homeland Visa Debit Card - edp Reporting rip-off debit cards by homeland visa/edpreporting scams Valleyview California
these people are good. they hacked into my computer somehow got alot of vital information. next thing i know im getting an insuffient fund notice from citizens bank. so i go to the bank in person and tell theese people that they had no right to take money out of my account without my knowledge/consent and that i wanted a stop payment put on the $159.95and to file some kind of charges so that it wouldnt happen again. well citizens bank calls these people on the phone while me/my husband are in the office of ms. brenda and homeland visa picks up,and we explain that we didnot authurize the purchase of this card, and wanted our money back. so homeland visa faxes a form to our bank while we are still there at citizens bank, and says we have to fill out this form and take it to the local police dept, and file a police report. so we leave citizens bank, and go file our police report. then we take a copy of the police report and give it to brenda at the bank, and she asked us if any of the information that homeland visa had , if it was our's,well all the information homeland visa had was our's. that bi**h sat their and said well because all the information from homeland visa matches everything on there withdrawl we cannot refund you your money and can't put a stop payment on it eighter. so needless to say we were screwed, and was told to leave the bank. after ten years of doing buisness with this bank you'd think they would try more harder to take care of there customers. boy were we fooled!! as a result of all this we have had to close out our accounts and go to a different bankthat appreciate's there costumers. i would very much like to know what can be done about this type of rip-off scam sincerly scamed & ripped-off E.& d. lafayette, TennesseeU.S.A.

CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. EDP CARD CREDIT CARD FRAUD Ripoff Valley Village California
For some reason my intuition was telling me to check my personal account on Tuesday Dec 27,2006. I noticed a charge of 159.95, I contact my bank and they advised the compnay name is EDP CARD SERVICES...who in the hell are they?? I HAD NO KNOWLDEGE OF THIS COMPNAY, NOR have I heard of them before. I contacted their company which I was on hold as it seemed never ending. I finally spoke to representative who advised that I agreed to some terms that I was unaware of and signed a form for a PRE-PAID VISA...what?????? I explained I did not do any such thing and demanded my money back. I was then told that I did not qualify to get a refund( what the hell does that mean?)I then requested to speak with a supervisor and was advised that there were none available. So now I am fighting with my bank to get my money back, meanwhile, it has sent my account in turmoil because of other bills that needs to be taken care of, not to mention my direct deposit. This company needs put out of business and everyone that works there needs to be brought up on charges. Chelsea BALTIMORE, MarylandU.S.A.

EDP Card, Acclaim Visa Card ripoff, scam, Internet
Funny how when you look up this Company's name on search, it shows multiple ripoff alerts. I applied for something different, NOT an Acclaim Visa. THEY still took my info, charged my account and claimed that they had me, had my IP address and so that entitled them to CHARGE me and also to deny ANY kind of refund. THIS is BEFORE they even SENT a card. I called the 800 number and of course, it is a day long wait so you would lose patience and hang up. Then after emailing, a idiot named MARC sends me a email saying that they would look into it and another saying thta I could GO to the police and claim fraud, and after investigation and blah blah blah they would send the refund to the POLICE department. Now how much BS can a man take before he drowns in it? I called the bank the same day. I went there to MY bank in PERSON, filled out a ford supporting my denial of this matter. Since it is being done so soon, they assure me that the charge will be removed from ny account. BUT will the bank eat the loss and allow this scam company to KEEP that money? I certainly HOPE not! I'd had a few drinks at the time... let's see what happened when i tried to get in touch with them? Act II - Customer Service isn't in their vocabulary Comic book guy from the simpsons would say... Worst customer service - EVER I try email, I try live chat, I try phone...what happens... no answer... did you read the terms and conditions microprint with a microscope.... well yes i did... but i was INEBRIATED AT THE TIME... hence your little $160 fee scam went by unnoticed... but here's a little factoid... a person who is inebriated cannot lawfully enter into a contract... (like accepting the terms and conditions???) you got it toyota! Did they care? NO... i got some idiot on the phone who i told my situation to... when i asked to speak to the supervisor what was his reply... I'm the authority on this matter... guess what... the other people I talked to said the sammmmme thing... sounds like a clever ploy for turning away people who have been ripped off... and guess what they do if you start asking the right questions? Put you on hold, and their machine hangs up on you... another clever ploy for a hoodwink! DO NOT USE EDEBITPAY or EDPREPORTING or ACCLAIM DEBIT CARDS, You WILL GET RIPPED OFF! EDP REPPORTING CARD EDP REPORTING CARD RIPPED ME OFF! Ripoff CALIFORNIA California
2 weeks ago, I filed for a pay day loan. I week later, I notice EDP a home shopping VISA company took out $159.95 without my authorization or consent. I did my research online and found that this Company steals information from pay day sites and third party vendors and goes into accounts and withdraws money. I call them up and explain everything to them and ask for a supervisor. The agent tells me they don't have Managers or Supervisors and that I am responsible foe the card and owing money. I close my Bank account down and had to re-open a new one. June 8th they took the money out and today June 11th they try and take money out again! My bank calls me to tell me! What can I do and how can I get my money back? K CARMICHAEL, CaliforniaU.S.A.

Edpreporting Card And Services withthru funds from bank account without authorization ripoff internet *EDitor's Suggestions on how to get your money back into your bank account!
I was ripped off, by what I thought was an application for a credit card and they took money out of my account without my authorization Ok cha asheboro, North CarolinaU.S.A. EDitor's Suggestions on how to get your money back! HERE IS WHAT RIP-OFF REPORT SUGGESTS YOU DO: Go to your bank within 60 days of the charge, or as soon as you know about the charge, don't delay, and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account. Explain that you wish to file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get. And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state. Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth. If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here. Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report .. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action. And good luck Let us know how you do! This company is very misleading they lead me to believe I was getting a credit card. I have no reason for this type of card. This fee of 159.95 was for a credit card that was supposed to be taken out upon approval. Of course I have not recvd the card and noone will answer my emails or answer the 800 number. I wouldnt either if I was being this dishonest. Angel buford, GeorgiaU.S.A.
