Go Smith Pro False advertising/Misleading the public Sunnyvale California
We are contractors who recently joined GO SMITH PR0 a lead generation service whose motto is We guarantee a connection with the homeowneror or  we will credit the applicable credits back to your account for use towards your next job. This is absolutly false and utter garbage,They do not refund your credits and you have absoliutly no way of getting your money back. I have never written an online review before but this company should be shut down and put out of business for its very shady business practices which are criminal. I hope this review  will help to stop other contractors from joining this corrupt and dishonest scam outfit.

Mobile Pro Hawaii Dennis Smith Ripping off Sr. citizens Ho0nolulu Hawaii
I found Dennis Smith of Mobile Pro Hawaii on Creigs list. I wanted  my web sight to be re-built. He talked a good game, sat with me at my desk, in my home. We agreed on a price, I signed a contract, and paid him $ 1000 down the ballance of $ 650.00 to be paid upon compleation of project. Project to be done by June 11th. That date came and went, no web page. Then July 11t, then August 11th.  No web page. I e-mailed him on or around 8/15/2016 to find out what was the hold up. He gave me a lame excuse and continued to delay the project. - Then e-mails stoped.  I gave him every chance to do the right thing, re-fund my money or finish the contract - nothing --  I went to the Honolulu Police and reported fraud in the 2nd. Filed a police report, -- did this on Sept. 9th. it is now in the hands of the police. They take a dim view of ripping off Sr. citizens. Bottom line - do not deal with this guy. Report him to the police and ref. police report no. 16-359-076  If you can find out his current address as he must move around a lot to stay one step ahead of the law.

Go Pro Vanlines Horrible Nationwide
This was the move from Hell and more.  Started out with another moving company and at last minute they called and said they couldn’t be there to pack on the day stated.   That left us with trying to find a mover that would be able to pack us up the next day; new owners were to move in the following morning.  Called GoPro, they said sure they could pack us up the next day, I gave them a basic list of what was needed to be moved, also stated I had packed 70 boxes and only furniture, large items and my china cabinet things and kitchen dishware needed to be physically moved to the truck.  I was quoted $4000.00, being a flat rate at $3.25 per cubic foot.  They arrived the next day as promised.   They packed everything into a 24 foot truck which can only hold 1400 cubic feet.  We were told at the end that our corner 8 foot entertainment center didn’t fit and they tied it onto the back of the truck.  I couldn’t object, we had to get out of there.  I was then presented with a bill of $7762.00.  Wow!  Way over the estimate.  The leader showed me a bill for packing supplies for $2084.20.  There is no way tape and bubble wrap and a few boxes run that much.  Also, they never presented me with their figures on how many cubic feet they were billing me for.  I was stuck, had to agree to the move, they had my stuff and we had to get out.  Had to pay them 2/3 of the bill.  We moved from northern California to northern Arizona.  After 10 days the movers got to our house.  Demanded payment immediately then started unpacking the truck( a 52 ft. semi)  Actually they were throwing things off the truck then midway decided to quit bringing items and boxes into the house and just leaving stuff in the garage.  They refused to put furniture back together (which in the contract is states they would).  Boxes that were marked this side up, and were packed by them were upside-down, boxes marked fragile were ripped and dented.  Two out of three mirrored pedestals were totally shattered.  I saw in the front yard where one had been thrown off the truck and pieces of mirror were on the ground.   The entertainment center was destroyed, two out of four doors torn off, base totally missing, shelf torn out, Trim on the top was torn off and missing.  About 35+ items were broken.  To get paid for the missing items, I had to sign a document stating I would not talk about them, so I will not talk about the missing items.  The driver of the delivery truck refused to give us the bill of lading, manifest and inventory.(which is needed to file an insurance claim).  It took from July 20, 2014 until October 14, 2014 to have the company finally pay for the items they agreed to pay for.  I had to file for the insurance, GoPro  said they would provide them with what they needed (only covers 60 cents per pound of damaged item) .  On October 17th I received a release and settlement from the insurance company saying they would only pay $201.00.  That’s absurd!!!!  I even looked the weight up in the AMSA table of weights.  The insurance company, Anthem, is way off.  They also demanded that I sign a release to not mention any complaints or actions of GoPro.  Well they can keep their $201.00. I believe the term is extortion.  I want to protect any other persons who are looking for movers.  I called their company 21 times.  Spoke with Alex, Bennie, James and finally Nathen, who did take action and I appreciate that.  I was lied to throughout the whole process.

Based on my history with Jim Anderson and Go Pro Powersports I cannot recommend doing business with them.  Jim Anderson has owed me over $2,000 for more than two years and refuses to pay me back.  I have all the emails and phone voice mails to prove it in case he denies anything.

Mac Real Estate - Gayla Smith - Timberview Apartments ripoff, scammed me for pro rated rent! New Orleans Louisiana
Ok not sure if this rippoff but i sure feel like i have. Me and my wife decided to move in these apartments there name is Timberview apartments. They are suppose to be low income apartments when we got the call that the paper work had gone through and check out for us we paid our deposit of 150 dollars of coarse so they can keep it for us. well we went and signed papers turn the electric on and waters. when we step into the apartment it was a wreck the last person that rented had destroy it badly to where they had to rip up the ruggs and then put new tile this is not the problem tho . It was the mess the there were not finish fixing up holes in the walls and after the tile was put down the place had crime and dirt everywhere like a play ground the manager there gayla smith didnt not say anything about cleaning it like it should of een and should of been ready to be lived in and livable. When she gave us the keys she made up pay pro rated rent of 199 dollars. She then kept acting like yall can move into the apartment when there was no way becaze they didnt finish fixing it all up next day. we went in and start to clean up that is where we decide this isnt worth it and decided this is not acceptable. we then called galya smith back to tell her we decided not to take it. the deposit i didnt expect back but far as the pro rated rent, i didnt understand why not. she said she called the company and they said no becaze they gave us the keys i said to her that we did not physicaly move into the apartment and we only clean it that was it. at the same time other renters were telling us that they were not happy with how things were going there and alot have moved out becaze of bad management . Well we called her twice asking for the 199 back same answer was given but each time. she said she would call us back. she never did. we had to call her back. i am not sure if the main company was called but low income more like taken away from the low income people. i just dont think this was right. we only had the keys for two days, that was it, and they had the deposit for there troubles not keep the pro rated rent.  FRAUD ALERT, BEWARE!!!!! William works in the real estate business and is a con artist. He is very smart and knowledgeable but he will rip you off. He had a long history of scamming people and taking peoples money. Look him up in the courts and you will see he has civil suites, drug charges and warrants. This is definitely someone you don't want to do business with.

Go Pro Automotive Worst place to go for oil change San Antonio Texas
 I went to Go Pro in May 2013 for a simple oil change. The guy that did my oil change (Romero) put the wrong oil filter in and the oil filter actually came off and all of my oil leaked out. My engine locked up and was obviously no good.  I called them and they immediatly came to my location and put in the correct filter and refilled the oil and it started.  Romero then told me to drive the car to the shop so they could change the oil againg and make sure everything was up to par.  I drove the car for maybe 2 days when the motor locked up again I called the shop to let them know, they had a tow truck come get the car and I had to get a ride home and miss a days work because of that. So I then call and talk to Pete who is very nice about the whole situation sets up a rental and sends one of his guys to take me to get a rental that they paid for.  So I was without my car for about a week, No biggie I had the rental to make up for it!!They ended up getting another motor that apparently had 36000 miles on it. Everything was ok for about a week when the motor started to knock and the oil just literally disappeared I wasn't leaking oil on the ground, we checked the radiator and nothing.Well after numerous attempts of trying to contact Pete on the phone, having to call from different numbers I finally got ahold of Pete and he said I would have to leave my car with him for two weeks and he would NOT provide a rental. Keep in mind that this is my only means of transportation. Needless to say I was involved in an accident and my car was totaled so Go Pro got off REALLY easy.

Go Pro Van Lines Beware of this Moving Company Los Angeles California
Beware! Beware of this moving comapny. They are a total rip off company. We hired them to make a cross country move and like all moving companies they came across very nice and very professional. Little did we know what kind of company they really are. We were quoted one price and when they loaded it all up they raised the price $3000. After is was on their truck. So there was nothing we could do. We were told it would take about 8 days to get our things. It was almost three weeks and when we did finally get our furniture and other belingings, many itmes were broken and damages. Over $5000 worth of damage. We were told to file a cliam that would take 3 months to get a repsonse. When we did get a response, we were told they would send us a check for $100 from Anthem Claim Management. Another rip off company! So whatever you do, dont hire these people. Its a shame that movng companies have become such scam artist. Go Pro Van Lines is the worst. Very very dishonest !!!! They broke things that could not be replaced and will do nothing about it. Please tell your friends and pass this along on social media.

I made the biggest mistake of my life. I received a call from PRO MENTORING which used to be called DS DEVELOPMENT, and was told I would be able to make $10,000 a month from home if I gave them $6,000 on my credit card to work with a coach. What a SCAM! After researching these crooks I found GUY GRITTON and his slick speaking sales people had so many complaints with the Better Business Bureau that they had to change their business name. I am completely sick to my stomach knowing that I am in over $6,000.00 in debt with nothing to show for it except a 2 hour phone call. PLEASE SAVE your money, cancel the agreement and call your credit card company the minute these crooks take you too. Go Tankless/ Pro Cool Dave Emmitt $10,000 boiler had to be rebuilt because of improper install - we picked up the tab Boulder, Colorado
We bought a tankless water heater for our home and paid Dave Emmitt to install it. Within a month we began having issues and contacted the plumber many times regarding these problems. He did come out a couple of times over the year, but was unable to correct the problem and actually made it worse. We contacted the company that made the boiler and after more attempts to 'help' this plumber find a solution, we eventually had to hire technicians that were actually familiar with this boiler system.  The system had eventually just stopped working and we were left with no hot water or heat while everything was rebuilt. The original system looked NOTHING like the company manual and the new plumbers cited Dave's work as 'amateur at best'. We are not professionals, however the new system looks pretty much exactly like the manual, and more importantly.... it works. Unfortunately, we picked up the bill for BOTH heating systems.  In the end, Dave said things such as, sorry - I'm really frustrated and I don't know what to do, I don't know how to fix it, I have installed 5 of those systems and 4 of them have failed. Because he is still convinced that it was the system and not the install, we believe he may continue to gamble with people's hard earned money. He has no business installing tankless water heaters. Buyers beware.

My daughter and I applied for a bad/no credit loan. Only info we gave was names address and phone numbers along with amount requested and reason. Four days later pre approval email for both of us just like that!! Six days after that comes email saying your cheque was mailed out Sept 8/2008 call us asap when recieved as a security protocal. Both cheques came Sept 10 and 11th 2008. Both for $2,500.00 and instructions to call acct manager b4 cashing cheques and security fund money gram transfer info. So I didnt call and I cashed the cheque (made daughter keep hers just incase) planning to possibly send the loser his $ IF and only IF it cleared...well 2 days ago I got a call it was a counterfiet cheque and I have to pay it back and they are also hunting his butt down to jail him...the funny part is the scammer was scammed by his victim, I got the loan cash and payed what I needed it for and though I have to pay the bank back just as any loan...Scammer didnt get one red cent out of us only a cell in jail upcoming. I call these People, seemed helpful at first. signed up for program, all done on the phone, they gave me phone numbers, of which no one ever returned calls. I called the salesperson two hours after signing up,( my impression was that they were out of work magazine sales people ). After a couple of hours of waiting for a return phone call, I called the original person and canceled my automatic deduction, that mind you was two hours after I signed up. Now being out here on the road I didnt miss 50.00 a month AUTOMATICLLY coming out of my checking account. While dealing with them on the phone I was told this account would be closed only after I faxed them a letter saying I didnt want it any more, which my memory isnt that good but I think I have done this before. Anyway I did all the above, now some woman on the phone says it will be canceled, but when that is I have no Idea, I am now having to close my account completely because of their services.  I will be contacting my own attorney and getting all my money back from these Ripoffs. BAD COMPANY DO NOT USE !!!!!

Here it is almost Christmas with barely any money for bills and I get an overdraft notice from my bank (which they take out $25 for) It claims I approved a $25.95 e-check. I go to my online banking and find this fake check from Voip Pro Llc with a phone #. I call the # and I just keep getting a voice mail. Now I am going to have to call my bank, and get them to reverse it, try to give me back the fee, and I am going to tell them about ripoff report I found (found while trying to see what this Viop was). I am going to hope I can get my bank to block this company from doing this to me in the future like I have read from others here. My question is - why are they still in business and still slowed to do this to people? Also, how many people do they rip off who never catch on? Please - someone help end this horrible behavior.

 Pro Star Freight Systems out of the chicago area is known for their vast craigslist postings they tell you over the phone they will pay you 55 cents a mile to drive their truck for them pulling a reefer. They ask what kind of truck you like and then you get their and the pay is 40 cents a mile then its a volvo..... then you pay hundreds of dollars out of your own pocket for tolls. No they will not advance it. They will not fix the equipment..... just a sorry company they disrespect drivers and tell you they dont care that they lied to you or cussed you out...... drivers you dont want to work for this company.

It couldn't have gone worse. Though they did correctly diagnose the problem, they pulled an emergency lever for the convertible top motors, throwing them out of gear. In trying to fix that, they poked a hole in the top and I had them stop as they were obviously in too much of a hurry, it being Friday and closing time. The mechanic agreed to meet me back there the next day and help me get the top working, but he didn't show up. Driving back to Dallas I noticed gas pumps kept automatically shutting off as if the tank was full. I had to pump 1/2 gallon at a time between click-offs. My car repair shop in Dallas recognized the symptoms and said the fuel pump was not installed correctly. I had to pay to have the gas tank dropped and fuel pump reinstalled AGAIN. Having belatedly researched this company, I now also wonder about the intial mistake that resulted in a charge aginst my credit card for over $4600 instead of $460 (until I pointed it out). Google search shows a local newspaper story about a money structuring (breaking down transfers of money into smaller packages so as not to hit certain triggers of interest) conviction Realdonn Dallas, TexasU.S.A.

My husband and I purchased two pairs of shoes and a bowling bag from this company. In about a week, we received the shoes, but did not receive the bag. We waited for about two more weeks before we tried contacting them. It took my husband three hours of hitting redial to finally reach someone. The message kept saying that all lines were busy and try back in a few minutes. After the three hours of calling, he learned that the bag he had ordered was on back order. They did not bother to mention that the bag was on back order when we ordered it though. They said that we should receive the bag within two weeks. It has been three weeks now, and once again we can not get in touch with them. I emailed the company three days ago, and have not received a response. I either want the bag I have already paid for, or I want my money back. For the last three days, I have tried contacting them, but it is impossible to get through. I have tried calling every hour of the day. DO not buy anything from this company. I am reporting for O.Lester Jones 87 yrs old. One 2-11-2015 he took his 2002 P.T. Cruiser to Smith Auto Jane, Mo. He aswked for an estimate on a wheel bearing problem. They did not tell him in advance thaty there would be a charge for the estimate. When they presented him with their estimate for the work, they were rude and charged him $ 150.00 for the estimate only. This is an elderly man who is easily confused and or intimidated. I want his $150.00 returned to him. I feel that they took extreme and cruel advantage of him. Mr. Jones has no computer and no knowledge of computers so I am doing this for him.

My son was hired by procollegePainters from 6/30-7/27/2014. He wasnn't paid for a total of 40.25 hours after completiing several job assignments. These jobs were completed at times using very unethical and unsafe measures in order to complete the jobs. My son was promised a payscale of 8.25 an hour although jobs were underbidded and therefore he was only making 7.25 an hour. My son quit a job he liked in order to work for collegeproPainters , because he would be working more hours on this particular job. There were failed promises of hours as well as pay. On one particular job he was shorted $10. The supervisor Andrew Smith has avoided phone calls as well as text messages my son has sent in order to resolve this matter in  a professional and positive manner. Andrew Smith has since left the city of Bloomington to resume his position as a High School teacher back in Indianapolis. There has been a serious lack of integrity concerning this matter, while my son has several bills that have since become past due as a result of trusting collegeproPainters.

LA Fitness Is A GIANT SCAM!! Must Read Before You Go To LA Fitness Rips off customers and employees Bensalem Pennsylvania
First off, I would like to apologize to anyone who has been ripped off by this company. I was a previous employee myself. I have read tons of reports and I believe every one of them. LA Fitness is one BIG marketing company disguised as a health club. Every employee except the janitors are eligable to recieve commission. First you have the membership counselors whose only objective is to get people to sign up to the gym. They tell people whatever they want to hear to get them to sign up; even if 90% of what they say is not true. Don't even think about a refund. Then you have the training staff who are even worse. Their job is to walk around and bother people all day while the are exercising and scam them into a free personal training session which is only a setup for a coersive, high pressured sales pitch. Then you have the operations staff (front desk clerks/ receptionists) who check people in. What most people don't know about the front desk staff is that their main job is telemarketer. They call members of LA Fitness from all over the country to Fix credit card information. If you give them you credit card number expect to pay within the hour for the month, fees, and any balances that they don't tell you about. These are called clearups and the clerk gets $5 commission for every clearup. They try to bait people with Member appriciation day with food that they don't even buy themselves. Other companies advertise through these events in which LA Fitness gets paid for. SCAM!!! Now to explain why there are so many complaints with this company. The employees are not to blame. I mean the ones that are working at the club everyday. They get paid virtually nothing and live off of commission. Also the pressure from corporate is unbelievable. The Vice Presidents are the weasels behind these ripoffs. They call the General Managers between 7-15 times per day: scolding, yelling, threatening or coersing them to make sales by any means necessary. They don't care how the General Managers get the sale because LA fitness has an ingenious system of drowning out the customer's voices if the deals are bad. First; there are three people who run the club: the Membership General Manager, the Training General Manager and the Operations Manager. Each manager manages their own employees and controls their portion of the sales. They all have their own District VPs (Vice Presidents) who hound them all day to make the sales. The VPs love to make surprise visits to the clubs to add additional pressure to the staff for sales. They give no authority to the managers to give refunds, access accounts and nothing set up to take or handle complaints. Even written complaints get trashed. All the managers can do is tell you to call the corporate office where they can keep you on hold for over an hour until you eventually hang up. But that's only if it is a complant. If you tell them you would like to subscribe the answer immediatly. Meanwhile all of the billing is automatic so while you are having these issues; LA fitness is still debiting your account. If you want to cancel your membership to the gym you have to send a letter to the corporate office. Here's something else they forget to tell you; if the don't send the letter certified; they throw it in the trash and continue to debit your account you hoping that you wouldn't take notice. If you want to cancel you personal training; forget about it if you don't do it within the 3 day period. You are locked into it. And even if you finish out your contracted term; they still charge you on a month to month basis untill you send corporate another certified letter saying that you wish to cancel. And you have to cancel at least 20 days before your next billing date or they'll charge you yet again. Another thing they Forget to tell you. By the way, the service is horrible. The trainers are very inexperianced and unprofessional. They don't care. Can you blame them when LA Fitness only pays trainers $6.00 per session and charges $80-$120 per hour? By the way if you were to get hurt in the club you can't press charges. The contract that you sign clearly states that an employee can basically break every bone in your body and give you a heart attack and there is nothing you can do about it. The trainers are being ripped off as well. The training salesmen only receive $250 every 15-16 days as a base for two 40 hour work weeks. They need their commission too. The membership counselors get either minimum wage or all of their commissions added up. Which ever number is higher is what they get paid; since by law they have to get at least minimum wage. Even the General Managers don't get paid much. They get a base of $24,000.00 annually for 80 hour work weeks. They live off their commission too. I bet if you're still reading this; you're probably asking the question of why anyone would countinue to work there? It's simple: It's a giant PYRAMID SCAM. They sell people the dreams that the would be earning a six-figure income within the year if they just stick with it and push. That is only true if you earn millions of dollars for the company first, which in this recession is impossible. You also have to make yourself replaceable and train someone to take your place so you can move up. Here is the setup: 1.First level: Assistant Manager (only a salesman) 2.Second Level: Weekend General Manager (A better salesman in charge of weekends) 3.Third Level: General Manager (Manages the training staff and club sales) *This level people usually never get past* 4.Fourth Level: District Vice President (Manages all General Managers of neighboring clubs) 5.Fifth Level: Regional Vice President (Manages the District VPs) This company sells new people just looking for a job the dream to make a lot of money. The only people who make a lot of money are the Vice Presidents. The District VP makes $200,000.00 per year and the Regional Vice President makes $500,000.00 per year. All of that money is made by ripping off the people and employees. This entire company is nothing more than a GIANT pyramid scam that has been masterfully engineered and perfected for over a decade. They focus 100% on sales alone...not service and don't care if you have a problem because they have control over your bank account and automatically deduct your account. Once you join LA Fitness you play by their rules and they will win every time. So if you are still reading this; you've probably decided not to join LA Fitness and if you still decide to join; you'll find out rather quickly that I everything stated is true. So just say no to LA Fitness. There are plently of other gyms that are owned by people who actually care about helping people and fitness. This is NOT on of them. By the way: all of the people who control the business don't even exercise themselves...Hypicrits!!! They are opening up a new club to do this every 9 days within the country.
