I bought these cameras! four in total on June 22 2014  directly from the Lorex website. I installed them over the Fourth of July holiday. the first camera quit working three days after it was installed. lorex sent me a replacement. on 11-20-14  another camera quit working I tried for two days to contact Lorax  finally I was able to get a hold of them on Saturday 11-22-14  the tech I was talking to told me he needed the model number I explained  to him the cameras are already mounted and that they  were 11 feet off the ground I would have to get a ladder to get a model number and I would contact them again on Monday with the information  that is when he gave me a ticket number 566070. had to use  a magnify glass I got the model number off the camera that quit working this is when I discovered that the model number wasn't the same number as the cameras  that I ordered. I tried contacting Lorex again on Monday I was on hold for two hours before I gave up I tried calling back again at about 10 a clock Mountain time  this is when I discovered there was an option for me to push where they would call me back, after six hours I was contacted by customer service representative, I told her I was having problems with the camera! before I had a chance to tell the customer service agent they sent me the wrong cameras she told me I had the wrong department she was going to transfer me to the tech department I told her I didn't have time to wait for two or three hours before I had a chance to talk anymore she transferred me over and put me back on hold. I finally got a hold of the Lorax tech today 11/26/14  he told me there's nothing he could do about them sending me the wrong Cameras I had to talk to customer service this is a  Classic Case of bait and switch. so it is now 2/2/15 i just had the 3rd camera  go down 2 days ago, what the hell! is LOREX bald face ripping us off? I have some older 480TVL cameras that blow these 600TVL cams a way! so I guess I just got F* out of $200 Dollars and they are still selling this garbage to the U.S.A.

Lorex Flir Google Play Store apps do NOT work Internet
Purchased through Costco the LNR416S, came with LNR3163B x 6, and LNR3162B x 3; NVR defaults to CBR bandwidth (favors audio) but none of these cams have audio capability. Each cam has to be individually set to VBR; the UI is NOT end user friendly, and there are additional settings on the PC software that one can really mess up their system with if strict attention is not paid; this software is also NOT end user friendly. There are over 10 completely different apps on Play Store, all with terrible ratings, few of which allow the user to actually log in after account creation, those that do give resolution not supported message no matter how low one sets res through NVR or PC software, none of which EVER garner an answer from app developers through rating on Play Store or through direct email to Lorex/Flir. This system was such a steal because I believed Lorex to be a reputable company. Now I understand why the low price: they were unloading unsold stock fast as possible through Costco, severely mismatching cams to recorders at ridiculously low prices (got ours for under $800 US). I had more success with Chinese built CCTV system I purchased from ZModo, both with operation, and customer service, which is also next to nonexistant there. DO NOT purchase ANY of these systems through Costco (it's not Costco's fault) as you will be frustrated no end. The ONLY saving grace is the quality of the image(s). They are outstanding, but far far outweighed by the complexity of set up and maintenance coupled with absolutely the WORST customer service I've ever experienced from a US based company.

Lorex CCTV Marcelo VERY POOR Customer Service I PURCHASED THE LOREX SYSTEM FROM Costco and added cameras to the system directly from Lorex. First once purchased, unless you are prepared to scrap all the working Lorex components, YOU HAVE TO ADD ONLY LOREX add ons. Second the customer service is horrible. Toronto ONtario
  I spent 8 hours with several different level 1 people , to solve the same problem over and over. These Level 1 people all asked the same questions (had no deductive thinking skills and probably used a script) and never solved the issues, in fact they either disconnected or said the issue was resolved ended the conversation and when I want back the issue was unresolved. In each case these unintelligent level 1 people eventually blamed the issue on either the computer used, the internet system, or the router. Eight hours, 5 people and then it was decided to escalate to a Level above level 1. In 30 minutes the issues of remote viewing were solved by Marcelo. So, the issue wasn't the computer, the internet or the router it was the 8 hours of incompetence of the level 1 people. After 2 months the remote viewing stopped working. I called back, only to be required to speak to the same incompetent people I spoke to previously, asking the same non-helpful questions to draw the same conclusions (after 1 1/2 hours). When asked to be connected to Marcelo I was told that was not possible, they didn't know who he was and couldn't contact him? So now I have an expensive system, that hasn't and still doesn't perform as advertised. I've had to spend large amounts of time (and therefore $$$$) to resolve, even minor issues, despite the fact that they claim to have notes on previous conversations (which no one reads). My complaint ticket number was #140457, call them and find out that they haven't resolved my remote view issues. SO IF YOU INTEND TO BUY LOREX SYSTEM: 1)HAVE LOTS OF TIME, 2) DON'T EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO REMOTE VIEW YOUR CAMERAS OR 3) GET ANY TYPE OF COMPETENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Lorex security 3 days of trying to reach a sales manager, cut off and hung up time after time. Based in canada offices  Nationwide
 I ordered a 4 camera security system, less than a year later the dvr recorder was stolen. I asked for a replacement, they sent me a upgraded dvr. All I needed was a receiving antenna!! After speaking to and being passed from technical advise to service and back to sales Several times their only solution to my $25 antenna needed. Buy a 4 camera system for $750 with another drv just to get the antenna!!!! They never let me even talk to a sales manager so I could explain my situation. we don't break kits. So now I have 4 useless cameras mounted to my home and A monitor with no sane solution from them. I told them I was robbed and it was very important to get my security system working Again. They said call back tomorrow. I did only to be cut short of a sales manager by the technical support crew. Thanks alot lorex your actions of fact speak volumes about your Business ethics and integrity.

Lorex Technology -- Lorex Wireless Cameras Called 5 times in 18 days for warranty replacement of a failure monitor but never happen. Wireless system monitor failed after 2 month purchased. Linthicum Heights Maryland
Dear sir/Madam:   I ordered and bought direct from Lorex website, Order number: L358397 Purchased date: June 6, 2015, Model No.: LW491HD. Price: $574.45   I bought Lorex wireless cameras system about 2 months ago, after my cameras system went down on August 17, 2015 and created ticket number: 1265359 online needed help, but its helpless. This product was warranty 1 year and technical support.   First, on August 18, 2015, around 3:00pm PST, I talked Mr. Ross technical support; he said the hardware failure and determined to replace the monitor. He also said that call Lorex customer services if you don’t get help within 3 business days. I called them but No help   Second, on August 26, 2015, around 6:00am PST, I talked to Mr. Joshua who customer service and he said with 24 to 48 hours I would get the tracking number for shipping replacement of monitor. Not true and No help again.   Third, on August 28, 2015, around 7:15am PST, I talked to Mr. Sam who customer service and he said same thing again within 24 to 48 hours I would get tracking number. Not true and helpless again.   Forth, on August 31, 2015, around 7:25 am PST, I talked to Mr. Shaun who customer service and he said the monitor is available in stock now, and said within 24 hours they would contact me and give me the tracking number. Not true and helpless again.   Fifth, on September 3, 2015, around 6:10am PST, I called again and talked to Mr. Joshua once again, he said it has been processed and he would personally email me the tracking number within 24 hours, but never happen. Again, it is not true and helpless.   Total 5 calls in 18 days without help, they kept telling a lie within 24 hours sending email with tracking number. I am so tired of that. I need full refund. If they send replacement could be a bad monitor again. I don’t trust them now.   My wife and I are anxious to get system running again and tried several calls without help. We asked why we paid $574.45 for bad product and no customer services from Lorex help us to resolve the problem. So, we created another ticket on August 31, 2015 for refund and ticket number: 1304392. No one from Lorex has responded since ticket created except auto email reply. We were exhausted.   Please help us with your authority to make Lorex company do the right thing for Americans and thank you very much.

we were offered A JOB through, the local and state jobing.com website to apply for a driving job when the reponse back was a man looking for someone reliable to drive his wife and he around throughout their vacation. He as well wanted to overpay us our weekely salary and then send overpayment to a the travel agency, This all just happened and he said he already sent the payment I dont know what to do?? should we contact local agencies or send it back?? He has all of our information off of the resume posted for the job... Help What to do!!! And I know we definatly do not go cash this check and then show up to the airport in 10 days waiting for no-one!!! What do we do and what is going to happen to us?? I have read that many others have been liable for like 12,000 and identity theft has happened?? I'm scared that something else is going to happen!! Are we going to get in trouble?? LOREX TECHNOLOGY misrepresentation..... classic bait and switch MARKHAM Ontario
I am missing 6 fingers so this will be as short as I can....simple...On dec 4 2013 I went on lorex technology website saw exactly what I wanted...4 WIRELESS cameras with a dvr....I received nothing even close to that..Cameras had 700 feet of wire and dvr player was not even a lorex product.  computer generated emails and 6 hours on hold over 5 days and I am getting no whereNOW THE ICECREAM ON THE CAKE Lorex now says in email that I ordered a wired system.....REALLY??? I DONT THINK SO THE website now shows the same dvr with 4 different cameras...I KNOW WHAT I ORDERED...I know what I saw on website on december 4....I WANT WHAT WAS ADVERTISED TO ME...PERIODthey dont answer the phone and they dont call you back...THATS A RIPOFFMR FINGERSEAST VAN

Lorex TechnologyVan Live Vantage service unfriendly they dont tell not offered
 I own Two food court concessions in a popular mall. I realized I could get better results from my employees when I wasn't there if I had a camera survelance system. I bought two systems from a wonderful company ,Tiger direct. When I got all the cameras installed I then foundout I needed to call techinal support from Lorex Techn ology. This is the company I have the complaint against. I have spent so much time waiting for their technition to answer average wait time is over one hour.Three times it has taken between two and three hours The technition has had to put me on hold after we were getting somewhere with the process twice and each time they hung up. Once the technition just plainly hung up without any excuse. I am still trying to get someone there to let me talk with their supervisor but they wont allow that either. I talked with Tiger Direct and They were so nice that they even offered to refund my money and help me to get a different system. I just hate to take everything down and start all over again. I have been on the phone today 49 minutes already and hope I can finally get this resolved. It seems that this technology should only require an on line answer. It does not. I would reccomend that no one ever buy th e Lorex camera system.

Amazon.com Growing Small Business and Employees Devistated by the Wrath of Amazon.com Seattle Washington
I am a hard working entrepreneur that has recently been wronged by Amazon. Here is my story: I started as a successful eBay seller and began to look for ways to expand. I quickly found Amazon and through a vendor of ours got in contact with a rep. Shortly after they gladly approved us as a Merchant and encouraged us to add as many products as we could. From this point on we were an Amazon Merchant. Amazon constantly constantly sent us e-mails providing tips and new ways to increase sales and continually encouraged us to add inventory. So we did and we were successful. Our Amazon business grew from $1,000/month to $30,000/month in just 6 months. Based on this success, I focused more company resources toward amazon and hired an additional employee to handle the increase in sales volume. Amazon quickly began to become our most valuable sales channel and continued to steadily grew for over 2 years. In the second year, our average sales grew to $40,000/month and broke $100,000 during the December holiday season in 06 & 07. This is success was based on countless hours of hard work my a number of individuals in our organization and our entire organization evolved because of it. Then one day out of the blue, the worst thing imaginable happened. I came in on a Monday morning, logged in to our Amazon account and saw the following message, Your Amazon account has been Suspended for policy violations.... I quickly checked my e-mail to see if they sent details for why they did this. The vague e-mail stated no facts and stated that this was a permanent action and they will be holding all my funds for 90 days. My balance was over $12,000. The worst part was that there was nobody to call, nobody to talk to, and nobody that cared that an entire organization had be crushed for no good reason. They only provide an e-mail address to the Amazon Alliance, which is useless and only sends generic, pre-written responses reiterating that your account is suspended forever and they will never change their mind. Needless to say, as our business was cut almost in half, I had to fire 2 people with kids and families to support and I had to reorganize the entire operation. And keep in mind, we did absolutely nothing wrong, and we showed steady growth and continued success. Our feedback rating was also well within their standards and we made it a point to even lose money if it meant keeping a customer satisfied. I still do not understand why they did this to us? Here I am, a successful entrepreneur who has built a successful e-commerce business from scratch, crushed for no reason at all by a Hitler-Like Organization. After doing a bit of research online, i discovered I am not the only person who this has happened to. I have spoken with an attorney and have began to pursue legal action. Their actions and their contract are in violation of several laws and statutes and I will not rest until this is brought to a judge.
