Orange Electronics USA Computer Fraud North Carolina North Carolina
This company preys on the elderly. My 80 year old mother received a pop up warning on her computer that it was infected and to call this number. They talked her into letting them basically invade her computer and take it over, and then pay $599 for a 5 year protection plan. They don't take credit cards, only checks, which they have the victim put on their scanner so they can scan it to them. Fortunately the account my mom used doesn't have much money in it, and she doesn't do any banking on this computer. When you Google the company they have lots of fake BBB reviews and such, this is the only site where I saw an actual complaint about what they are doing.

my orange usa Scammed  Internet
they pretend to be from Microsoft and in urgent need to fix your computer from a serious security issue. They randomly dial you with an Unavailable/Unknown number then ask that you immediately get in front of your computer (in my guess to eventually provide them remote access to run pseudo diagnostics... showing you computer is in miserable condition and they need to fix it. Later comes the credit card charges and horror in getting your money back if you fall for it.) . Report them to the BBB and ask that your phone number be immediately deleted from their business. Proof they're a scam,.. they will continue to try to reach you

ChildHelp USA Orange County HELP THOSE KIDS! Costa Mesa California
Everything these people are saying is very true. I was an employee for this company. And the things I witnessed is insane. And they continue to get away with it. There is a certain type of abuse I witnessed and heard from the children and other employee's that happens to these children. One is when the staff becomes angry with a particular child. They have the older kids gang up and beat the child up. It's so sad and will bring tears to your eyes. When I commented this to corporate, a week later I was fired for blowing the whistle. The Manager is a liar of the 1st degree, She lies to the employees and children giving them false hope of change. The children are 3rd priority. Omika ( manager) spends most of her time hiding evidence from social workers and Orange county Lic, and has her staff do the same. So many laws are broken here and these houses under her supervision needs to be shut DOWN!!!. Omika steals gifts that were donated to the children and uses them for her personal use and to her Cousin that works in the same house. It's that very cousin who also has the older children beat up the younger ones when she's angry at them. I've witnessed harmful restraints used on the children and I had to sit there and watch those poor kids cry. It's horrible and disturbing. One time the company had a 15 year old boy living there, and before that boy ran away he made a allegation claiming two staff gave him cigarettes on the side of the house to create a buddy system with him. They knew this child had certain concerns with smoking and knew it was something he had a hard time trying to dismiss of. Fortunately he was removed but the incident that took place was down right irresponsible for trusted adults to partake in. The horrible thing is the manager became aware of it and did nothing because the accused was her very own family member working there. What it all sums up to is Omika and her fellow friends terrorize and harass people and ruin lives. What was headquarters thinking when they hired her. It's known that her previous employment at another children facility( trinity) was terminated for wrong shady doings with the children, so my question is how come they didn't do a background check on this woman. I really hope someone with high authority really goes in that house unannounced and see the real deal. I dare anyone who is in the media industry reads these complaints and take action, it's unfair to the children what goes on here. Afraid to say inland empire, CaliforniaU.S.A.

Your Digital Electronics did not send T.V. Orange California
During the Thanksgiving season I began looking for a flat screen television and came across your digital electronics. I called and spoke to a person and she told me who to purchase the television and they only accepted Western Union and she gave me an excuse about credit card fraud. I made the purchase and sent $544.00 to an address in Italy. Italy because they told me it was for tax reasons their billing was overseas. I was told I would receive an e-mail once my payment was received and a tracking number via FedEx when my order was processes. Within 24 hours, I received an e-mail saying my payment was received but I never got a tracking number. I have called them repeatedly and never got a person on the line. I have filed a complaint with the BBB in Orange, California and they still have not responded. Kay Garden City, GeorgiaU.S.A.

Comp USA worthless warranty
I purchased a $300 piece of worthless paper at Comp USA when I purchased my computer a year and a half ago. The repair warranty provided for 3 years of in home service on my Packard Bell. Well I need it now. I called the provider Warren tech and it was arranged to come out, and they would contact me within 5 days for a date. I was told to contact them if it was over 3 days before someone called me. Well I called them and got 7 hours of busy signals on both numbers. Comp USA commented they had been having a problem but a part had been ordered for my computer, that hadn't been seen yet. Well its now 2 weeks later. No call, no visit, no contact whatsoever, so I continue to call Warren Tech and get the usual busy signal for hours and hours. Today I called CompUSA miffed to say the least. Now I find I am not alone, there is a big problem and I was misinformed. I purchased the program with Warren Tech (not mentioned at the time of purchase) that Comp USA had nothing to do with it (definately not what we were told.) and they were sure it would work out. We purchased the coverage from CompUSA at the time of purchase. We were told that Warren tech did the repairs for CompUSA and that it was a part of the deal with CompUSA. Since there are a lot of them (by word of CompUSA) I figure some sort of story will bring a number of us out. I await a form from the Attorney General to put in a complaint but buyer beware of service contracts at CompUSA, in fact that is the LAST computer I will buy there.

American Heritage USA has a nasty, rude and horrible owner. Rip-off! Orange California
On Labor day I was shopping with my family and saw this store. I planned on buying a large (and expensive!) sign from this store. While we were looking through the extremely crowded downstairs, my 16 year old daughter squeezed past a bar stool in the aisle. A man who was rifling through a box looked up and told her that this area is closed. My daughter said, Oh, sorry, but the the man launched into a tirade about there's a reason why that stool was there! We turned around and left, but found out that this guy was the owner. A woman working upstairs apologized profusely about the man's behavior and said he did that a lot, but we were still shocked by how rude he was. Mary Cerritos, CaliforniaU.S.A.

Cellular Outfitter miss leading shipping information Orange, Internet
I see there have been other complaints the same as mine.  When shopping on this web site items were put in the shopping cart to review later without having to go through the total website.  When wanting to check the shipping charge it looked like you needed to enter your credit card information before you could get a figure.  Assuming that you would have the chance to except or decline the order after that step.  We did enter the information.  When we saw how outrageous the shipping charges were we did not want to place an order.  We naturally assumed that the order did not go through since we did not get an order confirmation and backed out of the site.  A week later we get a package from them.  We did not open it and called to find out why this went through and were told in so many word sorry your fault the only thing we can offer is to not charge you the restocking fee which would be about $6.00.   I called my credit card company to dispute it and they were wonderful.  They looked at the website and agreed with my finding.  Spoke to the company with me and even told them that for good business relations would they remove the $17 shipping fee and I would pay the $6 restocking.  They would only reduce the shipping if I kept the order which was mostly the same items in different colors.  The out come was they were not interested in good customer service and basically said it was my own fault.  On the advice of my credit card company they said to return the unopened package and they would continue working on the dispute for the refunded shipping.  This is a company I would never recommend or use.  It looks like great prices until you see the shipping charge and then it is to late.

Purchased a screen protector and cover for my HTC in early October of 2012.  When I attempted to place the order, I got a message saying my order couldn't be completed due to some error on their website.  It said to try back later, which I did and then successfully completed my order at that time.  A couple of days later, I noticed there were two charges from the company.  I notified them by email and got a response that it was probably a pending charge and the other would drop off.  I work at a bank and knew that it was an actual charge not an authorization or anything like that, so I contacted them again and was told to fax the duplicate charges and would be refunded.  I did so and someone responded that in fact, two orders had been placed and shipped.  I told them I only made one order not two, and expected to be refunded.  They responded I had to wait and get both orders and ship one back.  A few days later,  I received my order--one screen protector and one cover. I did not receive double orders like they claimed I would.  I contacted customer service and was told both had been shipped on the same date and they would refund me when I shipped back the duplicate.  I explained I hadn't received a duplicate order and was told to wait a few more days to make sure it hadn't been delayed in the mail.  I waited about 3 weeks then contacted them again regarding the refund and had to start all over again with my problem.  I was told I could receive a refund if I faxed in proof that 2 charges had went through my account, which I did.  No response.   I then faxed it again and waited a few days, no response.  I then made a formal complaint to the BBB, and about 3 weeks later I received a response from them that the company hadn't responded to any of their requests.  So I faxed them again 3 more times with a letter explaining the situation and my request to be refunded.  Nothing. I then wrote via snail mail approx 2 weeks ago and told them I expected an email confirmation that they received my letter.  As of today I haven't heard anything.  They obviously have no intention of refunding my money or responding to my correspondence.

LG Electronics USA Consumer Beware, LG Warranty is useless ripoff Huntsville Alabama
On December 10, 2005, I purchased a 50 plasma television from Circuit City as a Christmas present for my husband (Model 50PX1D). I did not purchase the Circuit City extended warranty as the television has a 2 year warranty. On February 8, 2006, the picture stopped working on the television and we immediately called customer service. On February 24, 2006 the 5th company that was supposed to come and service my television finally showed up (they are located 60 miles from my home). They took the television with them. On February 27, 2006 they called me and told me that it will take 10 business days to get the part for the television. This was totally unacceptable, so I called customer service and asked if they could please expedite in light of the fact the television has already been out of service for almost 3 weeks. They said they would do so. On March 3rd, I called the service company and asked how the repair was going and was told that not only was the delivery of the part not expedited, they would now not have the part until sometime after March 10th. Needless to say, I am livid. I have been without a television for over a month and now it will be longer. I asked the repair company to return the broken television to me and on March 3rd I asked LG Customer Service Manager, Kathy Watson, to process the documents required for a refund. On March 8th, I called LG customer service to find out how the return authorization was proceeding only to find out that it was not proceeding. It had not even been started and it has not been approved. I also found out that LG would not authorize the merchant to refund my money for this inferior product. I could only exchange it for another such product. Now, this is absolutely unacceptable and not what Ms. Watson told us on March 3rd. I have absolutely no desire to own this television any longer. Had I known that there is no way to service this television locally if it breaks and that it would take 4 8 weeks to get it repaired if it breaks, I would have never purchased this product in the first place. This is a brand new television. It should be replaced, no questions asked. I was told that it takes 20 business days (a month, in other words) to process that document. Now let me see, 20 days to fill out a form and fax it to a local retailer. Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds. I have called LG customer service department every day (sometimes several times a day) trying to resolve this and have been give the absolute worst service I have ever experienced. I have been lied to, passed off, and generally ignored. I paid a large amount of money for this television and though we did enjoy our first weeks with it and recommended it to all our friends, I have since relayed this experience to my friends and colleagues and told them that they would be extremely disappointed if they went through with their plans to purchase any LG product. My only recourse thus far is to dispute the charge on my credit card, which is what I have done. Though this does not affect LG directly, it will affect the merchant I purchased the product through and they can directly affect LG. I have asked for a call back several times, only to receive none. We are in the middle of moving and I won't live in the area I am in now 2 weeks from now. Since it takes up to 20 business days to get the authorization needed, I will then have to travel 200 miles to exchange the television. If there were some reasonable explanation for the time frames given to me, I may not be so upset, but there are no reasonable explanations, just blatant ignorance. I have today contacted a lawyer to assist me in filing a consumer complaint and to investigate any grounds for a lawsuit, though I doubt I have any, as warranties are always written is such a way that the consumer is always the one to take the loss. I was hoping I would not be pushed to this. It would be great if I could just get some satisfactory resolution of this issue. I realize I am just a small consumer in a big world, but if LG is treating me this way, I can only guess that there are many others getting the same dissatisfaction and that people need to be aware. LG Electronics USA Crappy DVD Combo and no customer service Huntsville Alabama
I bought an LG DVD combo unit back on December 1st 2006. Within 20 days it was having problems so I called LG and they said keep trying it for another couple of weeks. When I called after 32 days they said it was out of warranty for 30 days! After writing a strong letter they said they would fix the unit. It was sent to their Alabama repair facility. Three weeks later it came back again with no note, no explanation. I called the repair office and they said they had not seen it, even though I had confirmations from DHL it had been delivered and was now returned to me. Plugged it in, same problem, sticking DVD. They told me to send it back to them. I sent it back a second time and it duly came back three weeks later with no note and no explanation. I called their repair facility again and they told me they didn't know who had worked on it and whether it was fixed or not. I plugged it in and same problem, DVD sticking. I used the VHS part of the unit for several months until finally I got a brand new DVD for Christmas 2007 and thought that the unit must work. I tried it and same problem. I called LG and they said it was now out of warranty. That was after I had one hang up on me because i questioned why she would tell me to clean it when I had problems with it before. She told me to buy a cleaner but could not spell the name of it, only pronounce it. I spoke to a supervisor who said they would do nothing because it was now over one year old. I wrote them a strong letter and said i would sue in small claims if they did nothing. I received a letter back today from someone who did not sign the letter but his name Jeff was at the bottom of the letter from the customer Advocacy Group - Corporate Correspondent. How unprofessional of these cowboys to know this unit was probably faulty from the beginning and then to state company policy when they did not want to deal with it. $300 down the drain. I am filing in small claims in Texas and will serve them in NJ. Then lets see them send a high priced attorney to Texas to deal with it. should they not show up then I will go to all lengths to collect my money, even putting a lien on their company to see what they will do. They have very poor customer service, they are not interested in the consumer and have inferior quality products. Tim Grapevine, TexasU.S.A.

LIKOM USA AND FRYE'S ELECTRONICS REBATE RIP-OFF
It has been 13 months since we bought a 17 Likom Monitor from Frye's Electronics in Arlington, Texas. I have made numerous calls to Likom about our $50.00 rebate we have never received. I made my 4th call to Frye's today. Frye's received payment on the merchandise, Likom received their money from Frye's, but the consumer (US) have never received our $50.00 rebate. I recommend that no one buys anything made by Likom. Frye's falsely advertises products with manufacturer's rebates and they know that Likom does not honor these rebates. But as long as Frye's and Likom receive their money they are happy. We are not happy. We want our hard earned money back. Caron Ft. Worth, Texas

I had a Samsung SC-D23/XAA camcorder that on an intermittent basis would not work. I originally paid around $400 for it new in 2004. I phoned Samsung and they confirmed that my camera did qualify to either be repaired or exchanged for an equivalent model. I opted for the exchange.I received an email with a UPS label and sent my camera to Samsung a day or two later, This was the beginning of September 2009. I waited about a month before making my first call to find out what was taking so long as I was told it would be about two weeks from receipt of my camera until a new camera was sent. The run around now began.I was first told that they had not received my camera. I had an email from Samsung that stated the contrary and told the rep. She then said that it hadn't been posted to their system yet but assured me that once it was, a new camera would be sent out within two weeks. Three weeks elapsed with no camera so I called Samsung again. I was told the same story about not being posted to the system. I told the rep that this was the same story from 3 weeks earlier and she assured me that she would make sure it was posted. I stayed on the line until it had been posted and she told me I should see a new camera in about 2 weeks.I waited another 3-4 weeks before making my next call. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that they couldn't do that but that someone would call me. Two weeks later a supervisor called me and provided me with absolutely nothing, not even a tentative date when I might get a camera. She told me that they were having problems with their warehouse and she couldn't give me any more information than that. Monday January 4, 2010 I emailed their service department to see if I could get anything out of them. Today, January 7, 2010, I received a call from a Samsung representative. He informed me that I would not be receiving a new camera and that all Samsung could do was offer me $100 which was prorated due to the age of my camera. I asked if they still had my old camera as it did work intermittently, but was told that it had been trashed. I told him I didn't want the $100 as this was not what the original agreement was.So the end result is I spent $400 for a camera which had a defect due to nothing I did. I then in good faith sent the camera to Samsung on the premise of an exchange. Samsung then threw it away and I have nothing in return. Had I known that this would be the end result I would never have sent them my camera. If they had no intention of sending a replacement camera why didn't they just say so and return my old camera??? This is just plain robbery.

USA Credit ripoff dishonest Uniontown Pennsylvania
One afternoon I came home from a very bad day at work to find in my mailbox that a Federal Express letter was left in my mailbox that my sonn had gotton when he came home from school. I opened the letter to find that I had a credit card with a limit of $2500 to spend to recieve internet purchases. I was very excited and ran to tell my husband. He looked over the letter and said that he saw that I had already made a purchase. I stated to him that I only just received the card earlier that day and did not have time to make a purchase. He then handed me the letter and I read further they had thanked me for a recent order. I then read the statement and there was an $89.95 processing fee which left me with a balance and available credit limit of $2410.05. Does this mean that this will be on my credit report? USA Credit, USA Credit ruined my credit... $12,500 debt on credit report Tallahassee, Florida
I went online to view my credit report so I could begin paying off my debt & there was a debt I owed in the amount of $12,500. Of course I was shocked because I've never borrowed that much money or had a credit card with that limit. Anyway, I looked to see who the creditor was & it was USA Credit. And of course there was no contact information so I looked it up online. To my surprise, there was a web-site for USA Credit Scam & it linked me to Ripoff Reports. I read stories about people who were scammed by this so called company. Then it hit me. A few years ago, I used to go online line looking for payday loans. I've received them in the past but only for about $200 at the most & I paid them all back directly from my account. I have no idea where this debt came from & how I got caught up in it but I'm glad that I found out because that is a major debt on my report. Everything else is in the few hundreds & I really need someone to help me get this removed from my report. And to anybody who is reading this don't ever get caught up in those payday loans because they will sock it to you everytime. I heard about it on the news but never thought it would happen to me & it did right under my nose. Khai East Orange, New JerseyU.S.A.
