Quicken Loans NEVER, NEVER call Quicken Loans , Internet
Engineered to Amaze is Quickens motto. It should be modified to Introduced to a MAZE. Their process is intended to put consumers through a grinding process that can only be described as unconscionable and deceptive. You will be asked to provide a plethora of documents that are overly invasive. You will be doing their footwork for them while they are stalled in neutral. They charge $500 for a loan rate lock. I wonder if the $500 per applicant is their primary means of income. They also violated my request to NEVER contact me again for more documents. I ask them to either approve the loan or disapprove it...once and for all. They called again this AM asking for more documents. This may be construed as harassment since they ignored my demand not be be called. Do not even begin the process with Quicken. If you are financially solvent enough to not need to refinance...maybe you will qualify with Quicken. Otherwise, simply stay away from them. It is nothing but A MAZE. The consequence? Weeks and weeks of nonsense before I withdrew my application this AM.

Quicken loans disabled veteran detroit Nationwide
Quicken loans used misleading information and a staff of scam artistis, lower then used car dealers, to squeeze money out of unknown fees not estimated.I entered a loan refi offer, giving a good faith estimate of 400.00 dollars with there estimate of loan rate and fees.I submited 30 documents signed, I had a appraisal my expense, wood destroying inspection my cost again 200.00 only to be told the rate is the same but I need to pay more for third party fees and three other unknow fees that never got explained properly. They cliamed that by paying these fees only then could they provide the rate promised plus a quarter point increase for a delay past 45 days. The 45 day term seems like enough time until you realize how many times they fumble thing up including not being able to find documents confirmed they have, scheduling delays on appraisales and pest inspection,  I said to my contact the estimate is off by a big margine that the estimate was less then I currently pay not more and they closed the loan keeping my good faith estimate, claiming they did nothing wroung. They claim a speicailest made four unaswered phone calls from November 20 to December 2 to discuss the new rate. I explained I left town for the holiday and that my client care specialist never mentioned anything about it, I had no messages, no emails the email they gave me was not the one they contined to use through out this process my bet the same for the phone calls and my client care scam artist requested new information and told me for month that everything was in process and to update bank records.I'm only finding out now that they said it was cancelled back then after two dozen phone calls it never came up. I am a 100% disabled vet from combat and was told by quicken they were number one in va loans for disabled vets they are jd power ranked #1 in satfaction and bbb number 1. I havn't been treated worst by a company to date, Ive been yelled at like a kid told I'm lying and told to get over the peanuts of my 400.00 dollars. That money maybe penuts to quicken but to me my 600.00 loss makes a big differents and if its peanuts why dont they give it back or follow the loan contract. I wonder why I ever saw there advertisment on a vet website,I since have started a refince with a local texas bank and have been treated as I desearve to be like a custormer. I hope companys that lose grounding and focus on the importants of customers meet there proper fate. As to there staff it shows your all from Detroit.

Quicken Loans Condescenging Detroit Michigan
I got an email stating do you qualify for a VA Loan since I am a Vetran? I clicked on the start button and filed out the infromation. Got several calls which left several messages. The first one was from quicken loans so I returned the call first. They picked up stated I was looking for some information to see IF I could be helped. So they transfrod me to someone who could help me but didn't tell them that I was looking for information. So I spoke to someone which started out ok, as I started to give my information I could tell the tone in the voice was starting to get attitude. I was told that there was several things that affected me getting a loan besides just my credit score. Then the attitude got turned up a little and I was told I was wasting their time since my loan is under water. I also was told I needed to have a minimum income of $5000.00 to $6000.00 a month to even qualify for help, as well to wait for 5 years or so for the property value to go up and for me to bring down the balance to see if they could even do any thing for me. At the same time I was being told this I had to hear that I was wasting there time 4 times. Considering the email wasn't even from quicken loans it was a general email but and they where the first to call and leave me message. As well as other lenders leaving me messages, at least the other lenders I spoke to where alot more polite and willing to explain and give me my options without all the limits and things to do. When I was asked if I had spoken to another lender I did tell them I just hung up with quicken loans 30 seconds ago. I was  asked how it went and I let them know about my call with the person I had spoken to and was told to me. They said they weren't surprised with what was told to me.

Quicken Loans Stay Away from Quicken Loans Atlanta Georgia
Quicken Loans is one of the most unethical companies around. The mortgage bankers are arrogant and care about getting the loan, they don't care about the customers. If you are just en quiring for new loan , don't give your credit card number to quicken loans. I was looking to refinance my mortgage when someone(Troy Trahan) from quicken loans called me and managed to get my credit card number. Unfortunately, I lost my commonsense for few minutes and signed a document which says $500 charged to credit card is non-refundable for any reason. I cancelled my loan application since loan amount is away higher than in the good faith estimate and interest rate did not justify the closing costs. Obviously ,now they refuse to refund my deposit. I had talked to few more mortgage companies including countrywide, e-loan, ingdirect and couple of others. All of them gave me interest rate without the deposit and honestly advised me not to refinance since I have low interest rate. where as , the mortage banker at quicken loans pressurized to refinance even though he knew that it did not give any financial benefit to me. He would not give me interest rate unless I give non-refundable deposit and sign a bunch of documents. I am very glad that I did not close the refinancing with quicken Loans even though I lost $500. Please Please stay away from Quicken Loans and --- Unethical Practice ----- Yogi Atlanta, GeorgiaU.S.A.

Quicken Loans Deception by Quicken Loans Livonia Michigan
Quicken Loans is a giant scam. They want your credit card deposit of $500 to show that you are serious about the loan and you will not be charged until the loan is processed. Not so. Also, they use a bait and switch routine. They assure you they can get you a loan for certain amount at a certain interest rate, but upon further investigation you don't qualify for that program. However, they do have a loan that will fit your needs, just not that one. You hear guarantees about the loan. They'll tell you don't worry, you got it. There are ways around this and that. Then, in the end there is no guarantee. Not only do you not have the loan you were promised, you are also $500 lighter. Calling supervisors is no help either. They claim to review all of the phone calls for anything that was promised or not, like the $500, and never heard such a conversation. Imagine that. They are crooks. What they do should be illegal. Quicken Loans Quicken loans engages in Discrimination Internet
I did a Internet serach using Google and Quicken Loans showed up stating they do VA mortgages. I applied for a VA mortgage. I paid for a credit score and found it to be 720. Brandon Eggleston of Quicken Loans claimed that I had too much debt. I looked at the VA criteria at another mortgage company and found the debt to income ratio maximum is 41-50 percent. I have a total debt of 405.00 every month out of 1900.00 for a debt income to ratio 21 percent. The Loan Officer is Brad Eggleston of Detroit, Michigan. I was attempting to apply for a Condominium with my payments between 600-700.00 a month with a 70-80 k mortgage. Brad Eggleston asked why I wanted to leave the place I have been currently renting the past 10 years. I told him our Apartment has drugs, gangs, and prostitution with the police visiting every once or twice a week. Brad asked for documentation IRS taxes, w2's,Net profit for limited self employment, and pay stubs. He than called and gave us a offer of only 40,000.00. VA would not approve a mortgage of 40,000.00 on a condo in Washington State condition of place would require major rehab. I find it appalling Mortgage companies and banks continue to set up barrier's to home ownership on top of discrimatory practices. To remedy these problems, I place the loan officer and the company on a blacklist hint use yandex

Quicken Loans is Crooked internet, Internet
I'm currently working with the crooks at QL. Much has been reported about the operation being a boiler room full of thieves. Well, my experience confirms what others have been reporting. Unfortunately, I didn't find out about their tactics until they stole my $500.00. I am still trying to get my money back but these thieves are pros and will do or say anything to keep the money. I'm not giving up yet, however, win or lose I'm making it my personal mission to slam this company any and every way I legally can. This company is getting away with, in your face, outright fraud and theft. They truly don't care and believe they are above the law. Somebody needs to brings these jokers down and soon.

Quicken Loans Sleaziest Mortgage Lenders Nationwide
I had aloan with Quicken and they called to offer a refi that will not  cost you a penny. I sent an email to thier closing dept. asking for assurance that their promise to cover all costs would mean that my loan amount would not increase...Yes was the reply and your old escrow will roll over into your new one - so there will be no coasts to you.  It was a total lie - they ended up adding thousands of dollars to my loan amount. If my refi wasn't about to expire I would have left this whole crooked deal behind. Have nothing to do with Quicken Loans - it is a bait and switch opereration. They will tell you anything to get you to sign the contract. Chris Milton MA

Quicken Loans Horrible service Nationwide
We started the refi process 40 days ago, we were told that we would close within 30 days. Our locked in rate expires in 5 days, 2 of those being weekend days. We have had to call over and over for updates, no one ever let's us know what's going on. We were only told that they were waiting for 3rd party info. They have had all of the needed documents for 30 days now. Well today my husband finally found out the 3rd party info was information that QUICKEN has not ordered yet. We still do NOT have a closing date, even though our rate lock expires in 5 days. Horrible customer service, they do not follow through in letting you know the current status and have not even given us a closing date.  DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with these people.

Quicken Loans Complete Lies Detroit Michigan
Hello my name is Nicholas, I am a first time homebuyer and i went and called Quicken Loans, big mistake. I was happy at first I had gotten my pre-approval letter and thought everything is good with no hassles whatsoever. Everything was good until I put an offer in and then was put into underwriting. I was asked for document after document some of the same ones over an over. I was put with a solutions consultant from what my undersatnding is the last step before they decide to go on with the loan or withdraw it. I  was contacted by the solutions consultant stating that they could not do a 30 yr loan with me it would have have to be a 15 yr loan and more money down. This puzzled me, anyways I said lets go ahead with the loan and see if we could make it work. I then decided to look into this myself the numbers that is and I proceeded to call the solutions specialist back and tell her I would have the funds gifted me on a 30 yr loan since she said I did not have enough assets. I was then told I could not do a 30 yr loan unless I put down 10 to 20 percent of a downpayment to which I asked an FHA only requires 3.5 percent down. I was told again I didn't have enough assets but we could do  a 15 yr loan down with a little bit more down and use the assets I did have in the bank for reserves. Strike 2 reserves are not required in FHA Loans. I called a local lender which is what I should have done and explained to them what was going on they told me they have to clean up Quicken Loans mistakes alot. I decided to go with a local lender. I wish I had read this report before I decided to go with Quicken Loans. My caution to everyone out there do not use Quicken Loans use a local lender. They ask for the same documents over and over agin and will give you empty promises over and over again. The problem is your loan isn't worked on by one underwriter, you might have to deal with a whole team in which info keeps getting passed along over and over gain.

Quicken Loans Scam Nationwide Internet
I want to thank all who wrote about Quicken Loans because I received their infro in the mail and was  considering on re financing with them but realized through all the complainte this is a total ripoff and Quicken Loans need to be stopped.this is truly a scam out to take whatever money they can from you and first off intend mot to service your loan as they described to you. I would suggest before you send Quicken Loan any funds get them to send you something in writing stating the details of what the funds you're sending them is for and if you don't get the loan promised (which should also be in the letter from Quicken Loans) with a guarntee of your money returned if this is rejected then this is fair game. If Quicken Loans refuse to agree then you need to move on. Before doing business with anyone I've found Ripoffreport.com can help by giving you (if any) negative views of the company which is exactly why I wouldn't do business with Quicken Loans too many negative complaints. I can out a winner.

Quicken Loans BEWARE OF THE QUICKEN BAIT Internet
I was looking for a mortgage refinace lender.  I contacted different lenders as well as the mortgage company servicing my loan.  I happen to come across QuickenLoans during my search.  I called and talked to a receptionist before getting to talk to Doug Corsetti,a supposed to be mortgage finance specialist.  He was so good that he managed to squeeze a lot of information from me. He is a talker but when he finally asked if I have a credit card number for a $500 fee for something like commitment fee.  I told him i'm not committing to anything yet.  Of course, guy still tried his luck many more times but there's no way I'm going to commit $500 to him or QL when I myself am trying to find ways to save.  I just frankly told him all I need is an estimate of rate and closing cost. He will not do it until I commit $500.  I tried to be polite all this time, but finally I had it and firmly said I am not committing anything, said thank you, and good bye.

Quicken Loans lie, bait and switch, or just incompetent Detroit, Michigan
To be fair, a few things were nice about QL.  They were pretty fast, and the people I spoke with were nice.  But, their home refi process otherwise feels like having a tooth extracted via your eye socket.  I did close with them, but would strongly suggest that you seek assistance from other companies prior to using them.  At the very least, you should get second opinions prior to making the $500 payment that they require.  Do not let them rush you into such a large financial decision prior to hearing from multiple providers.  You can probably do better, though it may take a little longer. 1. They are either incompetent or dishonest.  In my case, no estimate that they provided was even close.  My monthly payments increased multiple times totaling 12% in increases during the process, and cash required at closing increased 1400%.  That's no typo, one thousand and for hundred percent.  You only learn of these tricks after paying their $500 fee, which makes it less cost effective to shop around at the stage you begin realizing things are not going well.  This is a typical bait and switch, and very unethical. 2. They appear to twist what you report to them during initial phone conversations into what they feel would work best, ignoring the truth.  Read the details they are providing in thier initial application very closely.  They may lie (or are exceptionally error prone) about employment, income, or data specific to your current home or loan.  Several items that I tried to get corrected multiple times were still inaccurate for me as of my closing date.  3. Advertised rates must only apply to God, or other people who would not need a loan in the first place.  I have really good credit, great income and a great credit history.  In short, don't think for a second that you will get the best offer available in the market from QL.  I only stuck with them due to the increased costs of switching at the late stage I came to realize these things.  Had I started with a different provider, I am confident the process would have cost less.  I have spoken with several other providers in the last few days who all support this theory. While parts of their process are nice, you just don't get the best quality service or offers from QL.  The issues I had stem from incompetene or dishonesty.  Either way, they cost you more than you should pay, and cause severe headaches along the way. Their process makes you feel abused and dirty, and I plan to keep spreading the message above until there is some evidence that they have changed.  Life is hard enough these days without having companies like QL in the mix to lie, cheat and con their way into higher profits on the backs of those people just trying to get by.  We deserve better.

Quicken Loans Liars!!! What a Scam! Livonia Michigan
My parents wanted to purchase my home but didn't qualify. They told my father that in order for them to qualify that they should be added to the mortgage with me and my husband ( my husband was not previously on either). And in 6 months they with do a modification and remove me and my husband and it would be only them on the mortgage. I questioned this and they said that it would be no problem...When it came time to close we were told that they couldn't put my parents on the mortgage and to add them to the deed and everything would work out. Well 9 months after we closed my father called me angry because he spoke to Quicken and they couldn't do what they said they would do. Apparently they don't do modifications.. So now every couple of months they are calling me to refinance. Are names are still on the home and we got a higher interest rate for nothing!!! Florida home raleigh, North CarolinaU.S.A.

Quicken Loans Loan Deposit Rip-off , Internet
I applied for a mortgage refinance loan with Quicken Loans.  During the one of the initial telephone conversations, the Quicken Loan Rep said they would need a $400 good faith deposit that would be refunded when the loan closed.  I kick myself now for not having asked what would happen if the loan didn't close, but the whole tone of the rep's comment was that it was just a formality to show that I was serious. It wasn't until their appraiser decided our townhome wasn't worth what we owed (another laughable process), thereby making the loan impossible, that we found out that our $400 good faith deposit was now going to be used to pay the appraiser. When I objected, Quicken Client Care reminded me that the rep told the deposit could be used to pay for the appraisal and that they could prove it because they recorded the conversation.  I said I would apologize if I was wrong, but that I was sure the rep had said no such thing.  Of course when the recorded conversation proved them wrong, then they decided to point me to a document I had signed that did say they could use the deposit against the appraisal if the loan didn't go through.  I said that I hadn't read that part carefully because their rep had already told me it was just a good faith deposit so I belived there wouldn't be anything in the documents that would substantially change what I was told by their rep. Shame on me, I guess.

Quicken Loans Their name should be CROOKEN LOANS Internet
Whatever you do...don't do business with Crooken Loans I am 60 years old and have had experience getting home mortgages and refinancing my house and can tell you this is the WORST experience in my life. The first few times you talk to them (before they get your $400 deposit) they are courteous and call you several times a day to get your business. Once you give them the $400 you can kiss them and your money goodbye. They will do anything not to approve you and keep your deposit. It's a $400 scam! just think...if they do this to just 5 people a day it's $2,000 times 30 days...it's $60,000 a month for doing NOTHING!In my case, the appraisal came in way over what was needed so they couldn't use that excuse. They fabricated this belief that my home, where I have lived since I bought it in 1996, was not may primary residence!!! What a joke! They asked for a TELEPHONE LAND LINE BILL. When I informed them that I, like thousands of people who live in this country, don't have land lines at home anymore and instead use their cell phones, they turned me down under the pretense that I wasn't able to provide them with the required documentation for them to approve my loan. I told them I had electricity bills, water bills, etc., which to me are absolutely necessary items to have in a house, but no...they didn't want those...they wanted a land line bill. How ridiculous is that?!In the meantime, I was contacted by several different inept individuals who work there asking me to send all kinds of private documents like pay stubs, tax returns, property deed, just to name a few, and I was so naive that I complied with their every request. Finally, I was contacted by someone in their Solutions Department who offered NO solutions, only problems. I would try to offer solutions like sending them my FPL bill or water bill, but she was stuck on saying that underwriting wanted a land line bill. I even offered to install a land line at home even though I would not use it, but no, it had to be before the fact!I know it sounds unbelieavable but unfortunately it's the truth. The final outcome was of course they kept ALL of my money and sent me an email saying thanks but no thanks.Someone should stop them from continuing to riip people off and get away with it!!!

Quicken Loans Underhanded uncaring and dishonorable Detroit Michigan
On March 8, 2015 I inquired on the Internet to Quicken loans about possibly getting prequalified for a loan. On 3/9/15 I received a notification from my credit tracker that Quicken loans had pulled my credit. I did not have a problem with that. The very next day another inquiry showed up from a third party. These were both hard inquiries. Needless to say I did not go with them, but I am stuck with this on my credit report. What was the point Quicken? Nothing was going to change! Except my credit score by 2 points!!!! My advise do not allow anyone have a social security number until the can give you a rate! Once the inquiry is on your report, each company after that will see that too.

Quicken Loans Chris NovakErin Walker Detroit Michigan
I was assigned a email by our email team in which I had to respond to the clients question in the email. The email I was assigned was out of my realm so I could not handle the email. I fowarded the email to the appropriate team with clients name contact info and why they were emailing. In return the team emailed me back a while later but do to the overwhelming phone calls being received I missed the email that was sent to me by the team mate which she was asking for the loan number. My team leader Chris Novak brought it to my attention about not responding to the team member and I advised him it was a mistake and that I missed it but it wouldn't happen again. The following day the team member that was emailed emailed me back and stated that she contacted the Client and everything was fine , I apologized for missing her email and not responding it was a mistake, she told me it was fine and not to worry about it. I told my team leader about the email in which he replied i saw it it's okay and nothing else came of the matter. On Friday 11/29/15 I arrived to work a hour early at 9 am my shift started at 10 I punched in did some research for some clients and would follow up with them during the day at 10 am I logged in to the phone system and began to take calls . I was fired for not replying to a teammates email which I admittingly missed and apologized for I was assured that it was okay and for clocking in a hour earlier but not taking calls but was simply doing research for clients that did not require me to use the phone until my 10 o'clock start time. I didn't feel I had to work for free while doing the research is why I clocked in. When I was fired I told them this wasn't fair and all they said did I have any further questions...
