They are very indiscriminate about selling their database to any company, website, etc. who pays their fee. Believe me, I know! Your name, address, phone #, birthdate, etc. will be everywhere on the web!! Thank goodness they don't...

My wife was a free member for years and kept getting E-mails that someone else was looking for her. I signed her up for three years for $72, depending on the 'three day free trial' as a guarantee of satisfaction. Within minutes, I had discovered that all the people searching for her were completely unknown to her, and NONE were from her school. I looked further and found that only a handful of her over 500 graduating class were there...

I was filling out myspace page, then had a popup come up, asking if I wanted a membership, I thought it was for myspace page. So I signed up and later realized that it had nothing to do with myspace. Called them the same day to cancel and refund my money. They flat out refused to refund the $72.00,(customer service was extremely rude) but they went ahead and deleted my membership. These are deceptive business practices. Jason Poland...

I, too got billed for more than I thought - plus wasn't happy with the service - and I sent several emails requesting a refund. Then it dawned on me that since I paid thru PayPal (one of Reunion.com's options), I could get PayPal to reverse the charge. Lo and behold, at least a couple of weeks after PayPal reversed the charge I got an email from Reunion.com saying that my refund had been handled. NO SH!T. Had I not gone thru PayPal I'd STILL...

I used My life website once to search a phone number a few months ago. I paid th fee at the time and forgot about it. four months later when going through my bank statements I noticed a monthly charge of $8.94 from my bank account up to the date. I called them and asked about these fees. I was told their web site is set for automatic renewal by default unless cancelled!! I think this is a dishonest way of doing business at best if not a ripoff. I...
